The margarita was great, the mai tai was the original recipe (strong with lime, not fruity), and the espresso martini, which was good though maybe just a touch watery. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which came with celery and tortilla chips. Really delicious (I'm from Buffalo so I can attest to its quality, despite it not using bleu cheese, which I actually appreciated) and definitely something I would order again. I got the chicken caesar salad, which came with some tasty croutons and fairly large parmesan shavings, and was again impressed. One of my coworkers got a taco trio, which looked really tasty, and then my other coworker and I split the BBQ chicken flatbread, which was also fantastic. We were able to get some seats outside on their really nice outdoor patio, though the interior had a lot of nice looking seating accommodations of all sorts as well, none of which felt like it was cramped or busy by any means. Our server was also very nice and checked in on us regularly. All in all, a really solid experience. The menu had lots of delicious sounding burgers and salads, not to mention a good assortment of mocktails. Definitely a place I would come back to next time I'm in town!

On this final day of Restaurant Week, I went to The Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar. I went around 12:30 and it was not extremely busy. Service was great and I got an excellent table by a window with lots of light. There were four roll-up garage doors; none of them were open, but they all could have been. It was a beautiful day. For their menu, The Rail had three options for each of the three courses. I had the "Best Dill Pickle Chips - Ever," Smash Burger & Fries, and Buckeye Pie. The Dill Pickle Chips were great; lightly breaded, not too heavy, and well cooked! They came with jalapeño ranch, which I didn't try. The fries were okay and the smash burger was great! It might have had too many onions on it, but they were good and the cheese was nice and melted, but not dripping all over the plate. I brought the Buckeye Pie home and let it get to around room temperature. So much peanut butter and chocolate!!! I can't wait to go again!

We noticed that it tends…read moreto be on rainy/gloomy Sundays because of the warm soup, sandwich, etc options Jason's offers. I always get the same thing: Great Southwest Bowl. It always tastes great, with a variety of vegetables and toppings, a good portion of chicken, and the dressing. It's filling but balanced. Sometimes I also get a bowl of the free ice cream - though the taste and texture of the ice cream varies from visit to visit. Usually someone in the group gets a bowl and lets us know how it is on that day. With our larger group we typically combine a few tables in the middle of the seating area, which other groups/families will do too. The decor/mood is a bit high school cafeteria with the floors and dim lighting. I've also had catering from this location a few times and the order has always been correct and on time. I think it's a great boxed lunch/catering option for offices.

The only way to get any response from Jason's is to call the store but they don't seem to answer the phone. There were two young girls working and they didn't seem to be very interested in their job. Too bad, I really loved this deli.

Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure!

I've gone during brunch for my most recent visits and can't seem to stay away from the breakfast tacos. I think what makes the tacos stand out is the fried chicken. It's deliciously crisp while still maintaining an excellent moistness. Add that with gravy on top?? 10/10! I find that two tacos is plenty especially considering the side of potatoes. Highly recommend this dish! The true star of this restaurant is the biscuits, whether it's the cheddar & scallion or the cinnabiscuits. I truly don't think I've had a better biscuit in Columbus. They're THAT good. You can't dine here without ordering one of these options. I love the environment and how friendly all my waiters have been. During each visit, a manager has come up to our table and chatted with us about our experience. Very kind people! An incredible establishment all around.
