This Pizza Hut location in Pendleton, Indiana is below standards! They offer a buffet on Wednesday nights from 5p.m. to 7p.m. (This is supposed to include a salad bar.) When we arrived at approximately 5:40 p.m. the salad bar was empty. They claimed they had run out of lettuce. The pizza selection was very limited and looked like it had been picked through by the time we got there. They refused to refill. Not much was left. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. The Manager just acted like it was our tough luck. We had just recently discovered the buffet here, and wondered why there were never many cars in parking lot. NOW WE KNOW WHY. No one can figure out when they are actually open for business. Often if the door is unlocked. an employee comes out and says they are the only one there so it will be a long wait. Stopped eating inside 4 yrs ago due to salad bar offerings being nasty, never good service, overcharged regularly, filthy restrooms and the restaurant always looked dirty, stick floors and table tops. I love Pizza Hut pizza so we've been going to the PH on 53rd Street in Anderson-15 min max pick up time for carry out and they're always hot and on time! Win!! read more

The delivery people are always super friendly! I suggest ordering online because the 2 times I've ordered over the phone things have been messed up I believe because it's so loud there so they can't hear me well, but after contacting about the problems they sent coupons to replace it read more

I ordered carryout, first I asked if I can get my dressing for my wings from the salad bar. They wouldn't allow it. I'm not a fan of there pre packaged dressing. The lady who was cashing me out was really rude and short. When I got home the wings were soggy. The pre packaged blue cheese dressing had a weird taste, I worked at a Pizza Hut for a Few years and I always made sure the customer was happy. At this Pizza Hut not so much. We ordered a pizza online for a delayed delivery. We arrived on time, but the drive through was full. It took ten minutes to get to the window. Then they couldn't find our pizza. Mind you, we were ten minutes late because of the drive through. They asked if we could pull forward while they searched for the pizza.They found the pizza in another part of the kitchen. By that time, the pizza was cold and looked like it had been out a long time. This was the first time we tried this location in years because of poor service. April 6 2019 we went to Pizza Hut and ended up with the worst service I have ever experienced! We only had a person out to take order and then no one ever came back out to our table! We had to go up and get our own water!!! Then had to go up and get our own chicken wings that had been sitting there for a while. Pizza had already been at table for a while. Then the cookie never arrived at table either and we had to go up and ask about it and of course it had been ready just sitting there !! We were literally there for three hours! Thank Goodness we were not in a hurry! While we were sitting there a family had came in sit down and never got waited on and they left the building!! My work associates and I make a joke that this is the best pizza buffet in town..of course, it's the only pizza buffet in town. If there was another, odds are, we'd never step foot into this Pizza Hut again. The store is always understaffed, with only 1 waitress and 1 person in the kitchen making pizzas. Due to this, during the buffet hours, you're lucky if you ever get anything other than sausage pizzas, many times only thin crust, due to it taking less time to make than anything else and get it out to the buffet. The salad bar is usually hit or miss, and the breadsticks and pasta never get replenished when they run out. Also, don't even think about getting a refill of your drink in any sort of a timely manner. It would be quicker to just get up, walk over, and refill it yourself. If you can get there between 11 and noon for the buffet, you may be able to get some decent pizza, but if it's anytime after that, just eat somewhere else. There's a Papa John's and a Pizza King within spitting distance of this Pizza Hut anyway. read more

We came to this Pizza Hut because the power was out in our town and no restaurants were open. There was only our table of 4 and one other table of 2 people. Our waitress was nice, however things quickly went down hill. We placed orders for breadsticks and garlic knots as appetizers. The breadsticks came out quicker, but it was over 30 minutes before the garlic knots arrived. When we placed our order for pizza, one member of our party wanted a personal pan, but the waitress said they were out of personal pans so he ordered a medium pizza (so that was a higher cost). Then another girl came out and informed us that they were out of medium pan tossed pizzas so we had to get a large (even more expensive). Oh, not to mention while she was informing us of this, she was eating a chicken wing. Later she came back (at this point we hadn't yet received the garlic knots appetizer) and asked what we were waiting on. We told her the garlic knots and she walked away and mumbled (but still very audible) "Oh my F***ing G**." She told us several times while we were there how stressed she was because there were only 2 cooks and 2 servers. I'm sorry, but that's no excuse for the lack of professionalism. We also heard her yelling at other employees and when she was walking around the front counter she belched loudly. We were there well over an hour to hour and a half and no other customers ever came in besides us and the other couple so I'm not sure why she felt the need to complain about there only being 2 servers. She had plenty of time to walk around aimlessly as well as sit in one of the booths and play on her phone. I get that we all have bad days at work and she seemed very young, but come on. The work ethic and professionalism in this place was disgusting. We definitely will not be coming back to this location. The only positive was the pizzas we ordered were good. read more

I thought that after waiting two years (after having a few bad dining experiences here) it would be better. Well, it's not. I am a very patient person but not when waiting almost an hour for food because they 'lost' the pizza, having to ask for plates after eating breadsticks without any plates, and having to go up to the front to get our bill because nobody came to give it to us after a considerable amount of time. A discount was offered but the waiter was not professional at all. The dining room was not crowded and other guests were waiting as well.
