Puccinis can be so good, but this location is having a serious issue. I wish that we would've got up and left. The waitress was very slow in taking our order and she had a hard time keeping up with only six other tables. The food was not prepared correctly, and I had to return my salad. Again, I wish I would've got up and left when I seen the lack in service. My mother and myself both had issues with using the restroom after eating here. We sat outside and it's near a parking lot, therefore not very good views. I would not recommend coming to this location. read more

Went to the Geist location on 8-29-25. It was a beautiful day out, so their patio was filled; we ate inside (which was fine with us). Our server was delightful. It seemed like there were only 2 working the floors, so things took a while, but it was fine (we could see at least 6 people in the kitchen, though). We got the scamozra, which is a favorite. It came out a little "ugly" but it tasted delicious as always. And we got the Bar 20 pizza -- bbq chicken, red onions. This is a tasty favorite. It came out with Huge chunks of chicken on it - so much, the lady in the booth behind us asked what we were eating! We've gotten little diced up chicken before, but this was really something, had a nice amount of chicken on it. Oh Geist - what has happened to Puccini's? Such a delightful location, outdoor eating, close to the marina. We've been going to this location for 15 years. So what has changed? The food. Started off with breadsticks which have been wonderfully soft, substantial, crusty edges with garlic and parm. What was put down in front of us were hard, burnt pieces of dough the size of a pencil. When you bit into them, they were hollow. Then the pizza came out - the toppings were excellent but the crust was terrible. Like the breadsticks, the crust was so thin, it could not hold up with the weight of the toppings resulting in an inedible, soupy mess. The server was very understanding, even called the manager on the phone. We have noticed the last few times we've gone to this location that their food has been going down hill and this was the worst, making it questionable we'll go back until we read things are better. Hope they get to the source of the decline and remedy it as it's a nice, relaxing location to go. read more

The long-time manger must have moved on (we noticed her picture/article has been taken down off the wall) and there seem to be very young students only working there. Our food has been really hit or miss. The pizza has been usual - but the more complicated dishes like chicken have been sub-par. I used to work at a few of the Puccini's 12-15 years ago and it's still just as good as it used to be. Hardy a thing has changed in a good way. This was my first time coming back in about ten years. We ordered some breadsticks, a large Sweet Lil Razorback pizza, a Caesar salad , and a few beers. Beers and food are all cheap (craft beers are only $5.5!) and outstanding quality for the value when it comes to pizza. The was service is pretty great too for a Sunday night. Puccini's Geist has been a favorite spot of ours since moving to Fishers over 5 years ago. The food is good, price is reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back. We visit here often and always bring family and friends when they're in town visiting. Now, why the 1 star review you may ask? On Monday, July 15 my husband and I took my parents for dinner. Food was great, and our server was busy when it was time to pay the check. So, my dad took the check to the counter to pay while a different cashier was standing there. Upon hearing that my dad needed to pay, the cashier goes to our server and tells her the "old guy" needs to pay. My dad hears the exchange and confronts the cashier, whose response was that she didn't know what else to call him. So in a matter of minutes, my dad was BOTH insulted and charged for our dinner. I visited the restaurant on Tuesday, July 16 to speak with a manager regarding the experience. At that time, Josh was the manager on duty. I explained the situation and was told he had heard the servers talking about the exchange, and he would let his manager, Sullivan, know about the situation when we worked on Wednesday, July 17. Today, Wednesday, July 17, I visited the restaurant to speak with manager Sullivan. Sullivan was there, and when I asked if he had heard about the experience he said he had. When I asked what the resolution would be, I was informed he planned to speak with the offending cashier on her shift today and she would either be reprimanded or terminated, and that yet ANOTHER manager, Devin, would possibly come in to speak with her as well. Now, I'm not leaving reviews trying to get free things, but at NO point has anyone offered to get my phone number, have the ACTUAL upper manager or owner contact me, refund AT LEAST my dad's meal, or the like. I'm hoping that this will MAYBE get a response. I do not want to contact a generic Puccini's email as suggested to my parents' reviews. I do not want anyone else's family to suffer this kind of disrespect at a local establishment, and hope that the true management of Puccini's Geist handles the situation appropriately. If they would let me leave negative stars I would. We love having a pizza place close by but this is the last time we will be ordering from here. For the last couple of years whenever we order carry out it is always at least an hour so I plan for that but the last time and this time it is at least another half hour or more before you get your food. We came to this restaurant to enjoy a birthday dinner with family. All was good as we ordered our drinks and some appetizers. We ordered our food then the disaster happened. The pizza was crisp and full of flavor and spices. I never had pizza from Puccini's before, so this was a real treat for me. I gave up pizza for Lent so it was a great treat for me for Easter. This was very fresh and presentation was excellent on the pizza. The breadsticks were very good along with the tomato sauce. The salad itself had an excellent presentation and it was very fresh. This Puccinis location has been a consistent disappointment. Ordering delivery (Uber Eats) or carry out 5 out of the last 6 times resulted in items left out of our order. With our most recent order, the delivery driver arrived to pick it up a few minutes before closing time. The employees inside had locked the door and would not open it. The food was reasonably priced. The sandwich I ordered was nicely toasted. If you order the spinach artichoke make sure you get with the chicken. Definitely tastes better and pairs well with the spinach artichoke. Weather permitting dine outside. It was sunny and it was nice to get the view of the sky and water with the boats. Not meant for large groups. Definitely ideal for a small group gathering. I will say it was quite disappointing that the workers walked passed us at least a couple times and said not a word, but the moment I see Caucasian customers sit down they were quick to respond and this was when they came way after us too. Hmm! Do with that what you will. It took my aunt to physically to walk inside the restaurant and tell them we needed a server just to get someone to come to our table. I don't care how busy you are. I'm currently eating the best calzone I think I've ever had. Gorgeous crust around smoked Gouda, green peppers & generous chunks of really good tasting chicken with a side of bbq sauce to dip in. And that Greek salad is amazing ... very crisp and fresh. I subbed pepperocinis for black olives, asked for a side of garlic butter for my daughter to dip her breadsticks in, and threw in a slice of chocolate cake last minute...all requests were done perfectly & with a smile. The girl at the counter was very sweet. This makes Puccini's a 2 to 1 for me...even the 'one' wasn't bad. Last two take out orders wrong. LOVE the place for dine-in. For some reason they have screwed up the last two take out orders and the item screwed up was both times the salad. First time provided a dinner salad instead of their BBQ Chicken salad. The Second time blue cheese as part of salad that went with main dish not the normal salad but some sort of dinner salad no blue cheese. In short, they are in a hurry.
