First time at a Monical's pizza. It was about what I expected. The interior has a very "mom and pop shop" feel. Almost like a small town pizza joint. The place is a lot bigger on the inside than I thought it was! I got a "individual pleaser" which has different options but I got the 8" pizza, salad, and drink. The salad was just shredded lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and dressing. If it had croutons it would've been better! But overall, not bad - again that mom and pop shop feel. The pizza was good, about what I expected. It came out HOT and the crust was crispy. For $15 (with tax and tip) I was pretty happy. I'll be back. I would love to try the lunch buffet and some of their garlic or cheese breads. Only downside - they were pretty busy when I was in there and it seemed like they only had one server attending the Dining room so I never got a refill on my drink, but he was very nice and my order was correct. (And honestly handling that many tables alone was impressive)

I'm a sucker for a great thin-crust pizza, and Monical's delivers that remarkably well! Some places make the crust too thin, and the term cracker crust is appropriate. Monical's does it just right. It's crisp but not too crisp. I found myself fighting the urge for just one more piece. I visited on my lunch break and met Matt Guthrie at the front. I explained that it was my first time and asked him to give me the rundown on what makes Monical's great. Matt shared some of his favorites at Monical's and told me they have a great lunch buffet with all-you-can-eat pizza and a drink for 10.99 on the weekdays. He said they'd have a great variety of pizza for me to try. I'd just finished my workout next door at Exercise Inc, and I was starving, so the buffet was the perfect choice. The pizza is Delicious. I could see why Monical's has been around for so many years. As I was leaving, I noticed they had options for you to take home a pizza to cook at your place, similar to Papa Murphy's. Britney George talked with me about what I liked and shared some of her favorites . I called a good friend of mine who loves pizza of all types and styles and asked if he wanted to make Monical's our next location for meetings coming up this week. He happily agreed. I look forward to my next time.

Came to grab a personal pizza for lunch, and noticed the have a lunch buffet. If I had more time, I definitely would try it. I was greeted immediately with a smile, but there are no menus so you just have to guess on what they offer. It is a pizza place, so it would be easy to guess, but it is still nice having one in front of you when you're somewhere new. Ended up getting a personal veggie pizza and an order of garlic cheese bread. The cheese bread is delicious, and somehow the marinara to dip it in is even better. It's is crispy and light, cheesy and well seasoned. The pizza was also great. I love pan pizza because of the crust, and this one doesn't disappoint. The veggies are fresh and there's a good cheese:sauce ratio. I also noticed that they sell frozen pizzas. There is a vintage pizza feel inside, and I could see this being a great place for families. Can't wait to try again.

Perhaps it was because I'd spent the entire morning and much of the afternoon apartment hunting and that experience is almost always atrocious. Or perhaps it was because I hadn't eaten anything all day, so by the time I got there around 2:45 I was so hungry I could fart fresh air. But I thought this place was terrific. It's set back a little off State Road 37, so if you're flying by in your car you'd probably miss it. But it's worth the stop. The service provided by Layla was very good. The restaurant was very clean and looked orderly. I ordered a thin crush specialty pizza called a Delight, which is essentially a deluxe without every possible bell and whistle (they have another one that does have every possible topping). I asked if they'd be kind enough to substitute onions (which I hate) for black olives (which I like), and they did so without an upcharge, so I thought that was nice. Throw in an iced tea and a decent tip, and the freight came in around $30. Totally worth it. The pizza was just really good. The toppings were generously proportioned and tasted fresh. The sauce was not too sweet, but not too tangy. The crust didn't taste like a salt bomb. It was just plain old good pizza. I ordered a 12-inch and ate every bit of it. I'd recommend this place to quite literally anyone, even pizza snobs who want to argue about NY pizza versus Chicago pizza versus Detroit-style pizza, etc etc etc. No, it's no Jockamo's or Bazbeaux. But it was on par with Ale Emporium or anywhere else. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Embarrassed to serve Monical's pizza to guests! I would have been better off to offer them frozen Totinos! Every single plate that I cleared from the table had pieces that I threw away. For an expensive pizza, the quality was just sad! The toppings were minimal, and burnt pieces were just hanging on the bottom!

When we arrived I thought they were closed because no one was in there, however we were quickly greeted and taken care of. The service was great and the food was excellent. We got our food promptly. The environment was a downfall. With no one in the restaurant, I would have expected a cleaner place. Spilled drinks on the floor, food on the floor, and walking back to the bathroom looked rough. Not well maintained. Random fridge in a doorway, half stocked service stations. Overall I am giving it five stars and benefit of the doubt. It was the end of the night, maybe short staffed, etc.

Nice pizza place. Clean and cozy with friendly, courteous staff. Pizza had a nicely tangy sauce and the pepperollies were a delicious appetizer. Overall the food was good and reasonably priced.

The menu consists of Antipasti, pasta, salads, and pizza. They also have desserts of tiramisu, cannelloni and cheesecake. We ordered the Amanti Della Carne pizza. It consisted of mozzarella, pepperoni, homemade sausage, signature, tomato sauce, ham, and mortadella. All pizzas are 12 inch and thin crust. Our pizza was $17. We also ordered the spring salad for $7. It consisted of spring mix, tomatoes, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. The spring salad was good. The lettuce was fresh and nicely seasoned with the dressing. We really liked the homemade balsamic dressing. The pizza was very good and had a lot of toppings. As mentioned there is no variety or choice of size. The pizza only comes in a 12 inch, which was eight slices. Also, there is no choice of crust thickness. It is all a reasonably thin crust. Not a cracker thin crust, but thinner than most pizzas. We really liked it. The table next to us ordered pasta. They said it was delicious. They asked our server if the pasta was made fresh in the house. The server replied that it was. Service was very good, friendly, and prompt. It appears they do a big takeout business as while we were dining we saw several people come in and pick up pizzas to go. We recommend if you were in the area

The food was hot and everything seemed to be from quality ingredients. I will certainly bring my friends that are vegan and others that would desire halal. The crust was crunchy and the right thickness. The toppings were generous. We had medium hot Chilli Corn and Manchurian chicken. The clerk made sure to quiz me on that. I could see how some might consider that hot but it was medium for most Indian restaurants that cater to most white Americans. The menu is extensive. I am glad we did the homework first as the digital menu would not have been helpful. As far as the facility, it is nice and clean. From our experience, it was awkward from a service standpoint. We arrived on a Saturday at 11:30. It was not clear they were open but the sign was on. All of the chairs were on the tables. They were messing with perhaps mats? I finally asked if they were open. I received a somewhat positive indication they were. I motioned to my wife to come in. We stood at the counter for what seemed like an additional two minutes before someone came over after they were moving chairs. ( Owner should instruct the staff to come up, welcome the guest, thank them for coming and let the customer know they will assist them shortly if they are not ready to assist them ) I saw they had cans of soda. I asked for a fountain coke as they have a lit fountain machine. They brought a can of soda. Found out they don't offer fountain drinks. $2.50 for a can of soda. That does not go far when eating a pizza that is spicy. There was no provision for a glass of water as many restaurants offer. We ordered a dessert called gulab jamun. I was surprised it was served first and cold. Our meal did not arrive till about 8-10 minutes later. Since it was served cold I would have expected it to be served with the rest of the food. Every other time it has been served hot and arrived at the end of the meal. After the food arrived, we never saw the staff again. No one asked how our meals were, did we need anything. We were the only customers. The branding is off. The sign in front says Chicago Pizza with a twist. Inside sign says Pizza Twist. A side door says Twist. They need better branding and provide better training to staff. If this is not addressed, I could see they will have problems building their business with the average customer in Fishers. Owner/ Manager needs to spend time eating at a Chick Filet and a Culver's so they can train their staff. They also need to offer fountain drinks.

We ordered a scamorza, he got a large side salad, and we got a large pizza, half bar 20 (chicken bbq) and half pepperoni. Salad was good. Scmorza, our favorite app with tomatoes, garlic and usually tons of melted gouda, was disappointing. It had a ton of tomatoes, but I couldn't taste the garlic at all, and the slice of cheese on top was so thin as to be pathetic, not what it normally is at all. So essentially it was a big bowl of chopped tomatoes from the can. (I will note we did not say anything to our servers about this.) Our large pizza arrived fairly quickly, but it was half Bar 20 and half plain cheese. At first, we thought maybe the pepperonis were under the cheese, so we pulled a slice to determine, but in fact there was no pepperoni. The one server took it back to the kitchen, then he brought it back and told us they would also make us a medium pepperoni. I'm cool with that, as I eat leftovers. Upon eating more of the Bar 20 (usually one of my favorites), really it wasn't that good because the dough was also a little raw in the middle. They brought the other medium peperoni fairly quickly as well. It looked really good and we could tell it was nice & hot with the melted cheese. Still a little disappointing that there were only 2 pepperonis per slice (see pics), it just seemed like there should be more. At least this was cooked properly and had a nice flavor. I will say this, the two servers who were working our table were both quite nice and friendly. Just the food was very mediocre this time. #ReviewsByRL

This is a hot spot for a certain kind of Carmel crowd who wants to have a lil' cheeky drink on a day that ends in Y (or two drinks ... or three. They don't judge at Pizzology.) Or so I'm told. I got boots on the ground reporting for me. But it's also a restaurant for families. And a restaurant for casual dates. And a restaurant if you just want great food. Pizzology gets wood-fired pizza right. The crust is chewy yet slightly charred and crispy in all the right places. The pizza flavor offerings are simple but also creative. They have a dozen or so chef-crafted pizzas, so you can order a pizza that has been thoughtfully created. But if you want to go rogue, then you can also create your own pizza from ingredients like peppadew peppers, corn puree (what?), smoked mozzarella, asparagus and lots more. Large pizzas feed two, maybe three people. Small pizzas will feed one person. I was with a group of people, and we ordered a variety of things. The best thing that I tasted was The Varro, which is a pizza with red sauce, pork meatballs, fresh garlic, blobs of ricotta, parmesan cheese and parsley. This is one amazing pizza! I specifically ordered this pizza for the ricotta blobs, but I left with the memory of the garlic. Woah! If you like garlic or need to ward off vampires, this is the pizza for you. Other things we got included the Margherita pizza, which was so good and simple, with lots of fresh basil. And The Bama (white Alabama barbecue sauce, chili flakes, grilled chicken, banana peppers, caramelized onions and mozzarella). The Bama is spicer than you might think, but it was very tasty. Other people at the table got salads and bread sticks, and they were very happy with them, so I feel like you can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu here. The wine list is decent here! You'll find some nice wines at OK prices. They also have a wide variety of cocktails, plus a small beer menu. Hours are limited, as Pizzology is only open for dinner, starting at 4 p.m. If you're visiting on a Friday or weekend, I'd call to make a reservation. This place fills up quickly!
