Order and pay at counter, then find a seat. Fresh Cinnamon breadsticks came out as we were finishing our lunch, so good timing on those. Do better on your lunchtime salad bar, Pizza Hut. This place got it right. Service is amazing. I ordered a pepperoni, bacon, onion pizza with bbq sauce on tossed crust. But I gave them a special instruction "cut it as badly as you can". They followed it to a T and made my night. read more

Most of my experiences with this local Pizza Hut has been for carry out and/or delivery. They have a nice app for ordering online and my husband usually places the order, pays for it with a credit card, and I go pick it up. They are quick and the pizza is normally ready when I arrive to pick them up. On the thin crust pizzas, we mark the order as "light bake, pull early". This ensures that we don't get a dry, dark edge on the crust and so far they seemed to have gotten it right! Last evening we ordered the thin Meat Lovers and the Pan Super Supreme with a garlic herb topper and both pizzas were baked perfect. As a side note, two medium pizzas are too much for just the two of us, but their pizza reheats nicely and tastes good for the next day or two. When I arrived to pick up our order last night, it was their closing time and the clerk was friendly and told me I was her last victim. The only negative is they close pretty early (11:00pm on weekends and earlier during weekdays). For a pizza place, I think they should have later hours, especially for a Friday and Saturday night. Sometimes you just get that late night craving for a pizza and if you don't get it ordered by around 10:30pm, your outta luck! If that's the case, then our business usually goes to Papa John's Pizza, which stays open much later. As far as delivery, we've had a few times where they messed up our order and we didn't discover it until the driver was gone. We called the business and they would make it right by offering a free pizza on our next order. All in all good pizza for a chain style pizza place. Also you'll need to work around their early closing hours, if you're wanting a late night pizza. Staff friendly and obviously hard workers (maybe need one more worker on the day i came. I saw 3). Came for the lunch buffet and it was only $7! Salad bar fresh, pizzas were good. The dessert sticks were maybe a bit old but probably would've been refreshed if i waited just a bit longer. read more

Go online and place your pick up order for the best prices. National chain pizza joint that's a lil better than some, but not the best. Prices are average and the food taste average to good. They have a nice salad bar and pizza buffet sometimes inside. Delivery or pick up is what I normally do. Ask them about their specials as they change often. Placed an online order for delivery which was an easy process. They said 35 min for delivery-it took an hour (we live 5 minutes from the restaurant)...Needless to say the food was cold by the time we got it but The manager was pleasant and processed my refund without hassle which we appreciated. read more

We have been patient too many times to count at the Shelbyville Pizza Hut...this is the last visit. When we order pizza for pick up we always add a half hour to the quoted time because it was ALWAYS a long wait. Tonight we arrived 45 minutes after ordering (they said 15 minutes) but waited another half hour before we had pizzas. I could make pizza from scratch in less time...never mind! read more

Went for lunch buffet. Had one server for a full dining room. Had to use paper plates, no forks for salad. With a full house, there was no food on the buffet, and when food came out, there was a mad rush of hungry people. The food was good when I was able to get some.
