It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!

They do make everything fresh to order so be ready to wait for about 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. My chicken Philly cheesesteak was excellent. The cheese on this made it next level. The chicken is thinly sliced and tasted good however, next time I would ask for double meat. It was definitely slim on the meat, but tasted really good!

Food: We got a beef cheesesteak and an italian and definitely enjoyed the italian more. I think some of the problem is that they have relatively large rolls/bread which throws off the ratios and makes it feel skimpy. They either need to bake a 20% smaller roll or add 20% more protein to really make each bite satisfying. That said, the ingredients they use are actually good. I could actually taste the spiciness in the capicola and the salami had a nice rich flavor, they also topped the italian with a herby vinaigrette which was great. The fries are slightly more on the shoe string thinness which was fun but flavor was pretty standard. Overall this place isn't bad but it has some stiff competition, you get better price-performance from a cheaper chain and probably a better overall gourmet sub from Capriotti's which isn't that far although you'll probably pay 2x the price.

I had passed this location on the way and thought I'd check them out since I had never had it. I got the Italian sandwich, brownie, and a side of the pepper relish. Big mistake. This has got to be the most broke tasting sandwich I've maybe ever eaten. It's giving armor meat sandwich for Panera prices. The ham gave Bar S and the salami gave budding. Just gross. I couldn't stand more than three bites and that was because I was starving. I threw almost this whole sandwich away. The brownie was pretty good and kind of reminded me of Chick-fil-A. That pepper relish was really delicious and all of the veggies were super fresh, but limited. You can miss me with that meat though. The bread wasn't that great either. I don't understand why people would come here when Penn Station is right across the street. The customer service was fine and the inside of the restaurant was clean enough. But I will never ever be back.

The last special we had was Mike's Hot Italian, and it was delicious. We added chips and drinks to complete our meals. The staff greeted us with smiles and handled our order quickly. I redeemed a free sub through the app without any trouble. The ordering process stayed quick and simple. I keep going back to Jersey Mike's. The food is tasty, the service is friendly and the dining area is clean. My fave sub shop by far.

So anyway I had place nother order prior to arrival. Long story short wjen I went to the pick up side I was standing there for aa minute and no one even looked like they planned on coming to see if I needed anything. Until a gentleman came in and then she come out of no where to ask him if he was there for a pick up right away. After handing him his food she turned to return to where she was before I told her that the other meal waiting there was mine. She hardly asked a name before handing it to me in such a dismissful way. As I waiting until my other order was ready and and the same woman had to hand me the secknd meal. I was pissed then I got my food and they put the wet items all over my chips making them soggy and then the overpriced $5 ice filled lemonade that tasted like water. yeah ughhhh it or miss with this place.

I used to get dragged into the McAllister's in Clarksville regularly by family and I was always stumped at what to order. Now that I have discovered the Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich, I'm a big fan. Today I went with the "Choose 2" which gets you a half sandwich with a cup of soup. I chose the Classic Grilled Chicken as usual and the Broccoli Cheddar soup. The sandwich was excellent as always. The soup was really good too considering there is probably a huge vat in the kitchen made who knows when. Just kidding. I never used to eat honey mustard until I accidentally found out it was on the very first Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich from McAllister's. I haven't eaten honey mustard on anything else yet but it goes great on this chicken sandwich. Parking here is plentiful as they share a huge parking lot with a big box store next door.
