Personally the ownership is terrible and food is subpar. Someone should go in and ask Scott how much his terrible pizza will cost once he lets this data center go through. Always made correctly. We love that the burgers are hand patted and not frozen. They have daily specials so you can always try different foods. You cannot go wrong with the pizza at this location. Don't let the fish sandwiches fool you either. Sometimes, I get those and they're very tasty. I always get the pepperoni pizza. I love how their pepperoni is ground and very small pieces. This sauce is also amazing. The service is a little slow at this location, so you may want to call your order in, so it'll be ready whenever you show up. This is probably one of the largest Pizza King's in the state. We were in the area and was searching for a place that was open kinda late. Found this cute little place and decided to give it a try. The brick building and stained glass windows are beautiful. Love the old town feel of the building and restaurant. They have dine in, carry out and delivery. We chose to dine in. They have coke products, tea and bar service. We ordered a variety as we weren't sure what we wanted 7inch personal size taco pizza had so many toppings the crust was almost nonexistent which isn't a bad thing. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh the meat was well seasoned. 10 inch buffalo chicken pizza had just the right amount of Buffalo sauce to not be too hot but have a nice flavor. Had lots of chicken and wasn't dry. Spicy cheese cubes. So good and fried to perfection. Served with ranch 10 piece traditional wing with sweet chili They were good could have used a bit more sauce. However they are meaty wings and would get again in a different flavor. Overall great experience and will be back next time we are in town. read more

In Shelbyville, we have the popular National pizza chains to choose from for a pizza pie fix. However, the Indiana owned Cagney's Pizza King is the regular place we order from for pickup pizza. They offer dine-in and delivery but they are always timely with the preparation and availability of your order, normally within 20 minutes. We like picking it up when it is coming out of the oven. The pizza is unique in that it is always party cut with a crispy thin crust and plenty of toppings. I have had other gourmet pizzas in Indy and indeed they are good. But, Pizza King pizza is kind of like Grandma's cooking; it's just hard to duplicate and always so so satisfying! The downtown restaurant offers a full bar and complete menu of pub food that is also very good. read more

Stopped after checking into our motel room on a Sunday night. The place was empty, but still making pizzas and had some picked up while we were there. Service was great. Our glasses were kept filled and she checked in on us appropriately. Our pizza came quickly. This was way better than any fast food for a late meal. It hit the spot. First of all when we walked in the door our party of 4 were greeted by a very rude cashier, strike one! Our first waitress Amber was very nice when she took our order but then the service went down hill. A young lady by the name of Morgan took over our table and half of our table got their food while the other half waited another 15 minutes to get a pizza. Then when Morgan brought the pizza and I asked for plates she said " I only have two hands". Then we had to beg for leftover containers and our bill. Because of the rude service we won't be back. Wonderful experience at Cagneys for our table of 14 in the private room. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. All of our orders were complete and she checked on us frequently. The pizza is a local favorite - doesn't matter what kind, it is consistently good stuff. I love the stuffed potato skins and get them every time I go. We enjoyed the junior Sicilian salad and don't forget to order the shrimp cocktail for $1.99 . Wow! Such a deal! Also they have lots of craft beer on tap! The prices are more than reasonable and there is plenty of parking. The bar area is for the over 21 crowd, with family dining in the main room. One more reason to dine at Cagneys Pizza King: They are very benevolent in the community and support all local causes. Paying it forward, that's what it's all about. I've been to many Pizza Kings in Indiana. This is by far the worst one. I've tried it 3 different time because I always want to make sure it wasn't just that one crew. From what I've tasted I'll drive 30 minutes to Greensburg or Rushville for a better pizza king. read more

This is a really cool little joint off the square in Shelbyville. They have many different items to pick from. It's way better than the Pizza King near me that has not so great pizza and a train that brings drinks. This pizza king does not have the train but it does have tasty tacos and a cool speak easy vibe to the decor. Will definitely stop here again. If you come on a Friday night prepare to wait. I've been staying in Shelbyville for a couple months a few nights a week, and I've noticed Cagneys Pizza King is always busy in the evening. I ordered a 14 inch deluxe with added jalapeños. Timing was good it only took 20 minutes. But when I got back to my hotel room, I found they only cut the pizza in one direction, so rather than square pieces I had long strips which meant I had to tear the pieces not having silverware, in myhotel room. Also I thought the sausage would have more flavor, it seemed a little bland. I'm not saying I won't try again it just really wasn't what I was expecting read more

One of my all time favorite pizza's is Pizza King. I usually get delivery, which depending on the night can be fast or slow. More times than not when I eat inside this location the service is extremely poor. Whoever trains the servers, or doesn't train them, desperately needs trained themselves, because most people would not come back after such bad service, even if the food is amazing. Drinks don't get refilled, takes forever to place your order, and you can't find the server when you're done eating and ready to leave. A self-serving buffet would be much better in this scenario. The pizza's are awesome, but expensive. Tacos are average, salads are average, bread sticks are good but expensive, hot wings are above average, but their hot sauce is more like mild, and O'yeah, there's a bar in the back with separate entrance if you just like to drink. I ordered a medium with pepperoni, sausage and onion. This pizza was so greasy it's not even funny. I know PK is a little more greasy than most pizzas but this was ridiculous.
