We got a high top table near the back of the restaurant. It's a brew pub so lots of beer choices. The pizza is the best thing on the menu. I decided on the pepperoni. Beer was the blonde. The waitress was fast and knowledgeable. Pizza came out pretty quick for pizza. I order another blonde and I'm enjoying a slice. The crust is thin and pepperoni tastes like it was made in house. Sauce has a little sweet to it but definitely very fresh. It will be a regular stop when I'm in Shreveport/Bossier City.

The food was great, but when the checks came out, 2 out of 6 of us were not paying with card; one paid with apple pay and one with cash, and he made sure to show how annoyed he was by this. Eye rolls and side comments made add up and can make someone feel like they're being an inconvenience. Always remember how you treat your customers.

After about a few minute wait a server appeared from the back and seated us. After we were seated the boys were at a table and the 4 adults at a table. After she finished the phone conversation the waitress came up very politely and said the owner said the boys had to sit at the able with us. We were being watched on a security camera. Now mind you we were the only people in the whole restaurant and our kids were less than 15 feet away. Three of the bigger boys were going to sit at a table right next to us with only a walk way in between and we was then told they either had to be at the table with us or an adult had to sit at the able with them even though we could literally touch them. The server was very polite and was very apologetic about the situation and said they have been having lots of complaints lately. I can see why and the fact that you can't do half pizzas anymore. This place has went down hill in so many ways since they moved locations. We have been enjoying Smitty's for many many years and ever since they moved the place and atmosphere has changed drastically and not in a good way. The sad part is for the staff who works there trying to make a living and the owner pulls crazy stunts like this that the server has to implement.

Crunchy, not soggy at all, even under the loaded "garbage" pizza we ordered. When we ordered a pitcher of beer, the waitress brought out frosted mugs, which I haven't seen in donkey's. AND, she watched our table, and brought out fresh, ice cold mugs so that we always were pouring into cold mugs. That was unexpected, "above and beyond" service.
