One star because I can't put a zero. My carry out order was so wrong. Sadly, my husband didn't check it before he brought it home. So, it's usually it a huge deal to get a wrong pizza because hey, you still got a pizza, but this pizza was jacked! I ordered a stuffed crust pizza and somehow got a THIN crust, stuffed crust pizza. It looked as odd as it sounds. To me it looked like they had a "small pizza" amount of dough and tried to make it large. So that sucked. Next the sausage were as big as eyeballs and tasted horrible. Worst part of all, I was desperately hungry so I ate what I could. My husband and I had food poising for the next 3 days. There are so many other places to eat here, even just pizza. I ordered take out inside the restaurant and was quoted a 20 minute wait for a large stuffed crust cheese pizza. The actual wait was closer to 45 minutes while I was sitting in the restaurant. My original order taker checked on me a few times but seemed to take my calm demeanor as a sign that I was fine with the wait. I felt like I got skipped over repeatedly as two other walk-ins had orders completed before mine. If stuffed crust was not my favorite chain restaurant pizza, I would have given this store one star. On a sidenote, I think this company should drug test their employees every so often. The staff had glazed over eyes for the most part, I'd say 5 out of the 7 I saw go through had a not sober look in their eyes. The pizza was fine, as a silver lining. Okay, I didn't complain last week, April 16, 2017, online because after calling long distance from Dallas, on behalf of my son, who was at home in Wichita Falls, TX, I thought the manager would take care of things. I told her about my son's pizzas not even being cut at all and about the driver refusing to give him change. I was very upset because I had just ordered from another Pizza Hut in the Dallas area for myself and my younger son, who was with me. Then, my older son calls and it upset with his order and treatment. The manager claimed they were short handed, that they had a new person on the cutting board, that they had already been having frequent problems with the driver named Bridget. The manager I spoke to was named Camille. Camille apologized on the phone and claimed she would put a $10 off discount on my account and that satisfied me. We order pizzas once a week, maybe every 2 weeks, never an issue before until now, not including all the times we actually go there in person to eat, sometimes with our extended family. Fast forward one week to today, April 23, 2017, I hop online and place my order and discover no discount of any kind seems to be appearing on my account. So, I call the store by the base and speak to Camille, the manager (I recognized her voice) and told her I do not see my discount. She asked for my phone number and I told her what it was and what my name was. She then said that she doesn't see a discount either and actually asked me if I was sure I was using the right phone number. Say what? Yes, I told her I'm sure what my phone number is, then I told her I don't order by phone, but that I always order online. Then, I proceeded to remind her of our conversation from last week and then all the sudden she remembered who I am. I asked her to apply my discount or what code I should put in to do this, since I am at the point I need to pay. She told me to not actually pay with my card and to just place the order, then to call her back, then she'll go back into my account and then place a discount, and then I can pay the driver. So, in addition to lying to me about her applying a $10 discount to my account (phone number), which obviously was not really there because even she said she didn't "see" anything on my account, she insults me by asking if I know if I'm using the right phone number (ummm...yeah, it's my only phone), then after taking the time to call her a 2nd time (last week plus this week) to have her fix it then and there....she wants me to call her back again on my dime so she can fix it after the fact, which is unacceptable because I like to pay online and only pay cash tip to the drivers, which now I can't do. Needless to say, I cancelled the entire order and I was my hands of this location forever. I am a Pizza Hut person, but that is the only store location that delivers to my neighborhood....so, I won't be ordering for deliveries (my preferred method) from Pizza Hut again, unless I am out of town. Supposedly, according to manager Camille, there was an employee meeting that was supposed to have taken place last Monday with the DM present to discuss customer satisfaction and customer service issues. Clearly, it did no good. There are 3 pizza companies that deliver our direction, so my couple hundred monthly will now be spent at those other restaurants, not the base location. It's bad enough that the service is really slow and horrible if you go there in person, but we've always tolerated....I always tip good anyway because I use to work food service for 20 years and I understand.
