The flavors are so rich. I'm one who mixes stuff and tries random things in the kitchen, this is up my alley. The lamb pizza was great, the masala fries were good too (both in flavor and crunch). The lamb pizza was sizzling on the table. Clearly made fresh right out the oven. I also enjoyed the turmeric ginger lemonade. The wings were not good. They were cooked well but the choice to garnish them in a bunch of dry spices (cumin and others) was a miss. The spices are good but they need to be mixed in. They cannot be dry rub. It tastes like one final step was missing. Please revise that recipe. Even if you like the spices, that thick dry coating is uncomfortable in one's mouth. Service was good but could be better. I came in shortly after opening and door was locked, I had to knock, the bad forgotten to open it. It was super slow so it looks like traffic is light but I hope that changes. We need more people here. The place is spacious and clean. Big signs that show the menu and plenty of seating including patio. Plenty of parking in the rear. There were speakers but no music playing. The quality of the pizza and pau bhaji was outstanding. Who would think in Minneapolis you could find a place that makes tikka masala pizza? You order food at counter and food is brought to you. Wanted to try something new and we keep driving past this place. It's on the corner near Dave and Busters in the Arbor Lakes shopping area. When we got in there was almost no one in the restaurant. It was super slow on a Saturday night. I wasn't bothered by it but it was something to note. This restaurant has a feel sort of like Noodles and Companies where you walk in you go up and order, then get a number to put on your table then wait for a while before your food comes out. Not a bad thing. They have a happy hour from 3 to 6 PM everyday but when you compare the prices on some of the items to their regular price it's just the normal price. We decided to try the Hot Honey Pear pizza and Okra Fries. They seem different and intriguing. Highly recommend the Hot Honey Pear Pizza. It's a little sweet but still super savory. Loved it. I wouldn't mind coming back to try another pizza. The crust is a little thin but it's basically a naan that they cook in their Tandori oven. It adds a different dimension to pizza for sure. The Okra fries tasted good but it was too thin for our liking. They cooled super quick and became a bit limp borderline soggy. I would think it would be better instead of Julianne the Okra to either do halves or maybe quarters. This rating is more of a 3.5 than a 4. The place was relatively quiet when we arrived (maybe a couple of tables), for context, it was mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Food took ~30mins to be prepared and brought to our table, so be prepared for the wait! The menu is extensive, but well explained and easy to read. Primarily focused on tandoor pizzas, wraps, and wings. We settled on 2 small pizzas: chicken tikka, and pulled pork. The tikka was our preferred by a slim margin. It comes with masala, chicken tikka, peppers, and onions. Good balance of savory and sweet, with a little kick. The pulled pork had quite a bit of flavor as well. A little acidity could help enhance the pizza, but I'm being picky. The green sauce was flavorful, but not overwhelming, and the sliced apple gave it a hint of sweetness that goes very well with pork. This one did not taste spicy at all. We've been eyeing this place for a while, and finally decided to try it out. I appreciated the visibility into the cooking of the naan. I loved the uniqueness of the flavor profiles in both pizzas. The Tikka (with tikka chicken) provided the traditional tikka flavor with a little kick. The pulled pork was an original set of flavors I'd never tried before. By the end of the pulled pork pizza, I realized it was missing a bit of acidity to round out the pizza. Other than that, I'd recommend both for those visiting. What surprised me, was the time it took to receive our food. We were one of three tables, one of which was already eating. It took around thirty minutes (after mistakenly receiving someone else's order then ours). Thursday night happy hour was surprisingly quiet. This place must be maple grove's best kept secret! The service was friendly, the food takes a little longer to make but it was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. My group tried several things. Our vegan got the stuffed potato cakes and we had one order of samosas (includes 2 samosas) that we shared between the four of us. I've got a low hot/spicy food tolerance and found the samosas had a little kick, but nothing I couldn't handle. The raisin-ginger sauce it came with had some kick too, but again, nothing I couldn't handle. The stuffed potato cakes were mild, but be warned that if cilantro tastes like soap to you (as it does me): the potato cakes are stuffed with cilantro. The garlic (cheesy) naan bites were delish, with a nice crispy crust. The spicy red sauce it's served with was indeed spicy and less enjoyable for me than eating the cheesy naan by itself. One couple in our group did the Triple Meat Pizza and reviewed it as good but a little spicy. Our vegan did a build your own pizza with veggies and vegan mozzarella. He said it tasted good, but he didn't enjoy the consistency of the vegan mozzarella as it seemed to stick to his teeth. He said next time he would probably just get the pizza without any kind of cheese. My tandoori chicken wrap was great! The right amount of sauce so the veggies weren't soggy but the overall filling wasn't dry. After eating all the apps I could only eat half of it. Two of us tried the masala chai. It comes unsweetened and is alright. I don't like my chai to taste to strongly of anise (licorice flavor) and it didn't do that, so with sweetener added it's a decent cup. We were shopping in the area and needed to refuel. I had recently heard about Puzza Karma, so decided it was a sign to stop in. I am glad we did because the pizzas were great! Ordering is over the counter and then the food is brought to your table for dine-in. The staff was nice and the food came out quickly. We ordered a large garlic chicken and a large paneer masala. Both were SO GOOD. This fusion food was the best of both worlds. The garlic chicken was a perfect comfort food and the paneer masala had a beautiful complexity of flavor. The portion sizes were large so the both of us had leftovers. Easily can get two to three servings out of a pizza or one meal if split between multiple people. Wood fired pizza with an Indian twist! The menu is so unique and funky, with options to add potato, unique sauces, etc. My husband and I both enjoyed our pizza. He did a build your own and basically made a pepperoni pizza, and I had the tikka pizza with butter chicken. I added potato but sadly they didn't add it on their for some reason. Also, there was a bit of a communication barrier, which was not ideal. Lastly, we went in to have some wine with our pizza but they didn't have any wine or the advertised beer all over the restaurant. Either way, they had 3 beers on tap with neat magnets on the bottom. I reviewed Pizza Karma (Maple Grove) when it first opened. I'm happy to report that all subsequent visits have produced top-notch results. Don't go to Pizza Karma thinking you are getting a main-stream pizza. If you are looking for pepperoni or sausage pizza, this is not where you want to go. If you are open to something very different, please give this a try. My current go-to pizza is the Chicken Kabob pizza. This is cubed chicken breast marinated in yogurt, garlic and various spices cooked in their tandoor oven, with tomato-fenugreek sauce, mozzarella and topped with diced onions and red bell peppers. Pro-tip: You aren't going to be able to eat this without the toppings rolling off the top of the pizza, so make sure you get a fork to eat the nummy toppings that fell off. You can get a large pizza, but that is cooked in the regular pizza oven, where as the pizza dough for the smaller size is made in the tandoor (I like this crust better). My wife and I typically split the smaller Tandoor pizza size, so although it's a bit on the expensive size, splitting it between two people makes it very reasonable. I get cravings for this pizza and it is unique (except for the other Pizza Karma locations), so it's one of those places you really want on your regular rotation list. Extra: If you have kids (or maybe even if you don't), they will love the weird handwash machine next to the pop machine. Yes, it's a hand WASHING machine, not a hand dryer! Warning: My only "complaint" is that it takes awhile to get your order, but if you know this in advance, it's tolerable. Each pizza is made to order. read more

Decided to try Pizza Karma on a whim because the delivery was free on Doordash. I am so glad I did! Pizza Karma is a unique and original fusion of Indian cuisine and pizza. I ordered a cheese pizza for myself (simple but classic). It was so good, and there was a nice blend of Indian seasonings in the sauce. I also thoroughly enjoyed the garlic bites - cheesy, garlicky, and delicious! It was a lot larger than I thought it would be so you get your money's worth. My boyfriend got the paneer poppers. The texture was nice and they were really good with the sauce. He also tried the street corn pizza. I sampled a bit and I thought it was quite good! Again, the Indian seasonings really made it stand out. I was definitely happy with my first order from Pizza Karma. Pizza Karma has awesome unique Indian inspired pizzas but they also have one of the best veggie wraps I've ever eaten!! This wrap is enough to share, full of flavor and a subtle heat that keeps growing as you eat it. I love the addition of the fried paneer and okra!! You might need a yogurt sauce to help combat the eat cause you won't want to stop eating this wrap!! Great team and it's fun seeing the tandoors they use to cool the naan. Lots of shrimp, no complaints whatsoever as far as the pizza is concerned. I just felt some confusion on the menu and how to order, how the food was delivered, just confused........ Used the restrooms and now is time for the ugly, I don't even know where to begin, it was filthy! Water stains all over the mirror, the sink, faucet the garbage can, food or unknown smeared on all the walls. Feces on the toilet junk in a mess on top of the diaper changing deal, open ceiling tile pieces And even going into the restroom the taped on restroom sign. I have heard a saying " Dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen" Which does not give me a good feeling. BEWARE this pizza is NOT classic pizza, this is their "take" on pizza & they "twist the classics" as they say, to add Indian herbs & spices. I was not aware when I purchased their pizza & if I knew it had Indian spices instead; I would NOT have had it, because I don't like Indian food, or its seasonings; but it is personal preference. We got 3 to share among 4 of us, and we also got fried okra and wings to start. It was definitely more than enough food. We came for Happy Hours, so beers were $4 and appetizers were $5. I thought it was a good deal! I can't even remember which pizza was my favorite, but it might have been the paneer one. They have rotating specials, so we got a couple of those as well. We tried something new, we had the garlic naan bites, the pulled pork pizza and the creamy chicken garlic pizza. The saag sauce was something different for us, but we liked it!
