I have lived in Bloomington all my life and have never tried this place. I only discovered it through Yelp search and choose to try it due to the good ratings. They are strictly open for lunch 12-2 located on the first floor of an office building. Therefore, it gets very busy and loud in there for the lunch rush. They were very fast and efficient though. First time coming here I felt a little confused at how to order. If you can read signs then you will be just fine and can figure it out. They have the left side for ordering hoagies and they have the right side for ordering salads. They wood fire the pizzas and sandwiches and looked really good. I tried the oriental chicken salad and it was very tasty! You get huge portions for a great price. All ingredients seemed so fresh too! I was a little confused on the parking situation and may have parked in the wrong area. I parked where it said delivery's only but hey I didnt get towed. Went there twice in the last 2 weeks. The staff is friendly and soooo freaking quick especially during the lunch rush. Located in the bottom floor of an office building. The best part is that they have gfree options too! They offer salads, sandwiches, soups and pizza. I've only had the Greek & Italian salad and both were HUGE and delicious. I absolutely love the pizzas and salads at Cafe Fusion. Owned and operated by the same folks at Ryan's in this office park, the service and fresh ingredients can't be beat. There are so many ways you can customize your pizza or salad, that sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming as you stand in line. One of my favorite salads is my personal combination, I call it the California Farmer's salad - spinach lettuce, egg, avocado, peppers, sunflower seeds, artichoke hearts, garbanzo beans, and a combination of olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing. I have yet to try their breakfast option they just added, but it's on my list! For my gluten free friends, there is an option for a gluten free crust. This is a great healthy(ier) option in the area! Cafe Fusion is an absolute home run for lunch. The endless options of pizzas and salads can fit the diet, preferences and tastes of most people. I will admit, the menu can be intimidating. There are so many ingredients for both pizzas and salads that one could get lost in the menu. There are four "Signature" recipes for both pizza and salad. I personally have eaten more than ten buffalo chicken pizzas. The dough is rolled out fresh and it is a perfect mix of spicy ranch sauce, chicken, bleu cheese, celery and cheese - I would highly recommend to anyone. The salads are massive - bring your appetite. You pick your ingredients, or order one of the Signature salads - they grab your ingredients, chop it up and mix it together. I personally am hooked on the Thai Chicken Salad right now - the dressing has a little heat and when mixed with the ingredients, it is a great flavor. CF is quick. How many other places can you get a fresh made pizza or salad in under ten minutes? The convenience inside Normandale Office park makes Cafe Fusion a no brainer, and it is definitely worth your time to drive over and check it out. What energy! What an exciting lunch experience! I have had both pizza and salad at this joint and I have to say, getting the salad was quite the operation! After I put my order in I sat back and watched a literal orchestra of guys and gals chopping romaine greens away right in front of me and throwing them into metal bowls married with delicious ingredients and dressing! What a treat. The folks making my food were lively and engaging and very friendly. There was maybe a bit too much dressing in my salad but I will just have to request less next time, that one was on me! The pizza that I had ordered on a separate occasion was pretty amazing if I do say so myself. Service was fast though the line system was a bit confusing (where do I go for salad again?). A hidden gem!!! 1st time there today and happen to stumble across this place. I was looking for a new place to try and man did I hit the jackpot! I'm picky about my pizza and will say this is one of my favorite options. They are doing it right here! Excellent wood fired pizzas and fresh salads. Build your own or choose from the signature options. Perfect sizes. You will not walk away hungry. I just recently shared a Hawaiian and Thai chopped salad with my wife and my 2 boys who each had a cheese and pepperoni pizza. We had a great lunch together. The staff are very friendly and fun.
