The wild salmon was a big portion. I had it with risotto, but spaghetti marinara was a choice, too. I didn't want red sauce with salmon. The salmon was a bit dry. Risotto was flavorful and soft. We both had an interesting assortment of roasted vegetables. Hubby enjoyed his lasagna. We also got a basket of crispy Italian bread and a plate of olive oil with a sprinkle of basil in it. Too full for dessert!

The owner has a farm and uses a lot of the produce she grows herself for the freshest ingredients. The variety on the menu is fabulous as well. They always have exceptional daily specials. It's always so hard to decide what to order! The negative is that it is only open for dinners on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. They used to be open more than than as well as for lunch (they had a fantastic lunch menu!) so that's a disappointment. The place is also clean, but I would like to see them replace their tables and chairs. The chairs are old and you sink down so low. The tables don't have a smooth surface and crumb debris gets caught. This is the only authentic, quality Italian place in town so I hope it sticks around for a long time! With her decreasing the hours from what she had before, I worry she'll eventually close. It would be a huge loss to the community if it did.

The food is always delicious and the homemade sauces, dressings and baked goods are greatly appreciated! Although we noticed the portion sizes are slightly smaller, our meals were outstanding and the service was great. Parking can be challenging; however, they do have a small parking lot and there is street parking in the neighborhood. A beautiful outdoor patio with vines and flowers is a perfect spot for lovely weather days and Brewster's is great for families, lunch/dinner with friends or date night!

We had not counted on finding such a wonderful restaurant as part of the experience. To begin with the restaurant space is gorgeous. We arrived to find beautiful lighting, and various rooms dressed up with Christmas trees. This space was clearly something else in its former life, perhaps a home? Our waitress Melissa was an absolute sweetheart. She made a point of checking with us several times throughout the meal, and was Delightful to talk to. Our meal was magnificent. I went with their signature Bolognese, and it was absolutely perfect. Heaping amounts of sauce with generous amounts of meat, and perfectly cooked pasta. I was so pleased I almost licked the bowl. Dessert was a must and I went with their sticky toffee pudding. This was another triumph, wonderful toffee bits and soft finish. Frankly I'm a little sad that this place is so far away from where I live, or I would be inclined to come back just to have dinner.

We were seated immediately and the server greeted us pretty quickly. He may have been new as he seemed uncertain with some of our menu questions. They have an arrabbiata sauce and I was able to get that on the margherita pizza. It was amazing. Dough and sauce are house made. For apps, we got the calamari and baked Asiago. Both were excellent. Their espresso martinis are legit - served with espresso and 3 beans. Highly recommend this spot.

One thing to note; there's only one unisex bathroom on the first floor, which wasn't quite enough for the number of guests that day. There is another restroom upstairs, but it may not be ideal for those with mobility concerns. The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions since it was our first time dining here. The owner also made a point to visit every table, which added a warm, personal touch. The food truly stood out; comforting Italian dishes that reminded us of meals we enjoyed in Italy. Portions were just right, with a great balance of pasta and ingredients. The stuffed eggplant was a highlight; perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The Pizza Bianco was another favorite, generously topped with artichoke hearts. A few minor notes: the calamari was slightly overcooked, and while the Shrimp Scampi with Capellini Aglio Olio was flavorful and well-seasoned, the pasta was a bit on the dry side for my preference. Some of the shrimp were slightly overcooked as well, but it didn't take away from the overall taste as it was still very enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. We'd definitely recommend this spot and look forward to coming back the next time we're in the area.
