First time we have patronized Z-Place. The waiter did a good job. He was friendly and attentive. We had bread sticks and a 10" pizza. The bread sticks were tasty and hot. The pizza was a disappointment. The toppings were ok however the crust was extremely thin and nearly impossible to cut or chew. My wife also ordered iced tea to drink. It tasted terrible and we exchanged it for a bottled water. Keep in mind that the menu prices reflect a 4% discount for cash. In other word they charge you 4% for paying with a credit card. This is our second visit to this establishment. I thought maybe if we paid patronage during the dinner hour we would have a different experience. In my opinion, we had a worse experience this time around. There was no waitress on staff (for the second time.) We ordered from their limited menu at the counter and took a seat at the booth with the picture I liked the most. My favorite piece of art today was a painting of an older woman. Beautiful. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and a drink. My boyfriend ordered a 7-in. pepperoni pizza with a drink. We were the only two people in the entire place. Bonus points to Hufflepuff for the gaming machines. It is a fun distraction while waiting for food, although The Simpsons arcade game from the 90's tends to make my "Fuck" flag fly. Anywho, the spaghetti with meat sauce was unremarkable. The noodles looked and tasted more like thin linguini noodles than actual spaghetti noodles. The sauce and breadsticks tasted about as generic as Fazzoli's, and there was NO PARMESAN CHEESE at the table. The 7-in. pizza, albeit absolutely delicious, was thin crust. Thin crust happens to be my favorite, and I appreciate that the flavor of the dish made my boyfriend a thin crust convert. Having said, a 7-in. THIN crust pizza is barely a snack, much less a $6 + meal. Maybe $3.50? Five bucks tops if you stretch. After his meal, my boyfriend was still hungry, and he's not a big meal guy. He never finishes his plate at meals, and today it wasn't a problem. At least the place is clean. read more

Well I seldom ever write a review but this time I must. We just ordered a Zplace special and brought it home. Hands down the number 1 worst pizza I ever experienced. Wow. Every aspect of it. We love thin crust but this crust was atrocious and absolutely no pizza sauce. There was a tiny bit of red color but no taste of sauce. The ingredients were obviously very low grade other than the green pepper and mushroom which were just generic. Do yourself a favor and get a frozen pizza. Or if you want a truly good thin crust pizza with high quality ingredients I suggest head on to Fort Wayne to Raimondos. I am using this pizza as dog food flavoring although I hope he doesnt hold it against me! read more

Oldest pizza establishment in Huntington. Very good thin crust pizza, Broasted Chicken, Subs. The eating area is self serve and is very casual. Pizza is very good, but not consistently good. I used to love z place, now pizza is overwhelming parmeisan so it stinks!!! I tried an order of z potatoes, broccoli and cheese. It had fake spicey cheese and was terrible! If you liked the old z place don't go there now!!! Its all cheap stuff and still costs a fortune!!! read more

Life long fan of Z-Place pizza - went in this week and had the worst experience. We ordered 2 pizzas right after the table beside us who ordered 3 pizzas. They got their order 30+ minutes before us. Other tables that came in 20-30 minutes after us got their pizza 5-10 minutes before us. Not happy about the wait, but the pizza is always worth the wait. Then we got our pizza, no apologies for the delay and the crust was not even crisp and hard to cut. The owner was running the show - not happy about the decline in quality nor the poor service by the owner. We also had family that was at Pizza Junction at the same time with great service. Next Time, Pizza Junction. After 30+ years of Z-Place pizza they are now dead to me. read more

Ordered by phone. Loved broasted chicken. We got the broasted chicken and fish. Potato wedges and Cole slaw. Fish looked a little burnt, but it was actually just the crispy broasting. Chicken was delicious and I like the smaller pieces. Potato wedges are not something I would normally order as most are either mushy or not done. These were perfectly cooked. Negative stars if possible. If you want to support local business, this isn't the one. Their customer service is terrible, the food is mediocre, the restaurant is dirty, you can smell the disgusting bathrooms if you sit towards the back, delivery time is way too long. Tonight, our pizza arrives, 50 minutes and $35 later and it is incorrect. Loaded with green peppers. I really hate green peppers. So, we call. The re-make is coming in another 45 minutes. When asked if they will re-send our broasted potatoes so they will be fresh and hot when we eat our dinner. Nope- they won't AND they want the incorrect pizza back. You know what, Z-Place? Your food quality definitely does not outweigh your terrible service, mediocre food and rude staff. Mistakes are made all the time, it is how you respond to them that makes the business. Yummy,delicious and above all great prices. My family and I tend to order it to go more than we eat there but either way it's a great place.

Some food was good some not so much. Prices ok. Service very slow 45 minutes before all 5 of us got our meals. The wife and youngest were first. Then my daughter about 10 minutes later. Then my oldest and myself got our subs. My wife was done eating before the subs finally came . My daughter ordered pasta Alfredo and it was not very good . My stromboli had very little sausage on it. The wait staff was not the reason for slowness, it was the kitchen. All the food was piping hot when it arrived. read more

This has to be the greatest thin crust pizza in the Huntington/Ft. Wayne area! They always have plenty of toppings along with dependable quality. We've recently began to order their bone in wings on a regular basis and for the price, paired with the wide array of sauces, are the best in Huntington. Z-place may be an older pizza place, but it till serves the best pizza in town. Great ingerdiants, the staff is young but fun to be around and they really lighten the atmospehere, not to mention alot of them are cute. Subs there are also very good and the broasted chicken is to die for. My person favorite is the chicken club pizza...its just great. read more
