One if the worst pizzas we have ever eaten. their "thin crust" is a euphemism for cardboard. Their sauce had no flavor We will never order here again. Having grown up in NYC and New Jersey we expect far better. The best pizza we have experienced in Lexington, SC is Clara & Rays on Sunset Blvd. They are only open for lunch Friday and Saturday but open for dinner other days. Had a couple people recommend this place since I'm always complaining I can't find good pizza . So I got me a couple pies and I wasn't dissatisfied l enjoyed the pizza. It was pricey but it matched the quantity and quality that I look for. So all in all I was pleased. The service was good and the place was clean and spacious. Very diverse menu. Great pizza! We tried the meat pizza and it was absolutely amazing. Along with that we tried the bread and it was great as well. I think the thing that makes them stand out above other pizza places is they have the normal food that all pizza places have but they offer other things that other pizza places do not and that is what sets them above the rest. My family is new to the area and decided we wanted to take a break from unpacking and have a pizza. We chose Pizza Kovachi because of how close it is to home and their pricing. We were not disappointed! We ordered an 18 inch house pizza, garlic bread, and chicken fingers. The toppings were plentiful and the pizza was delicious. We loved the taste of the marinara sauce. The chicken fingers weren't so loved and we likely wouldn't order them again. We found the chicken to be very dry. The only downside to our meal was that the pizza was too big for the box. When we got home and opened the pizza, we found that a few inches of the pizza had been folded to fit in the box. It was messy to eat while broken, but still very good! Having never been, yet going off of the previous yelp reviews, we decided to stop by and carry out a pizza and a Greek salad. The staff was friendly, welcoming and patient while we decided and looked over the menu. The exterior of the building façade and surrounding businesses were not overwhelming, however, the food we brought home more than made up for the outside appearance. Our food was piping hot and the pizza was fantastic. For a small, the salad was more than enough, generous and fresh. The 16 inch pizza is plenty for two adults. I went by yelp recommendation for new pizza options off the big chain places and so happy we tried pizza kovachi. The food was fresh and hot and the salad a perfect side. We were especially pleased with the ranch dressing. And surprised to find baklava for dessert. It all had a fantastic taste and we will be back soon!!!!! Decent pizza here. We got an 18" Margharita pizza. The crust was very good--thin and crunchy. We don't like limp crust in this house. The sauce was pleasant with a nice tang. And yes, the pizza was finished with fresh basil. If you don't have it, don't make it! Though very good (we ate every piece) this was not an authentic pie in my opinion since the cheese used was grated, not fresh Mozzarella. The pie may have had some grated Parmesan on it as well. read more

I really do like Pizza Kovachi. The people who answer the phone are always efficient, helpful and really nice. We have gotten pizza quite a few times, and I feel like they struggle with consistency. We get the same pizza each time as well, because it's awesome. But there have been times when it's just not as good as it could be and with it not being "cheap" pizza it's such a bummer when it's just okay and not amazing. read more
