Very good! We just moved to the area and I was tasked with picking up the pizza. I Yelped to find a good place and I read the reviews and settled on here. I am glad we did! The fact the place was hopping when I went in was a good sign. The service is prompt and friendly and even the patrons were nice. I ordered the Margherita pizza and the Supreme. I added the Tuscan salad for good measure and I topped it off with a cannoli. The pizza is excellent! Thinner crust, very flavorful and a decent amount of toppings. You can't ask for more! We just moved here a few months back, and have tried many local pizza places. Only one of all those has been good, until today! Tonellas is now going to be our new go to! We decided to try something new today and so glad we did. The service was fast and our waitress, sherry, was just so sweet and amazing. And you really can't beat a true ny style pizza, but good luck finding someone who can make one good down here, unless you go here. It was SO good! We had the left overs for dinner, and the crust heated up perfectly. We opted to choose our own toppings, but I'm sure they are all delicious! This establishment has been around for a long time with pizza that was truly indicative of a NY pizza. However, over the last several years it appears the goal has been to reduce the quality of the pizza, elevate their pricing to where their pizza is not even close to a NY pizza. It may look like one in the box but the shrinking amount of dough and its quality has reduced their pizza to that of a flatbread pizza. We recently ordered two pies and were thoroughly disappointed with the awful quality of pizza's that they charge you in excess of $50. As someone who has grown up with NY pizza, their pizza today doesn't remotely resemble a NY pizza. They're also very skimpy on the sides which they charge a hefty amount for the limited quantity. The flavor of the sauce is very good but the dough is awful which is also important in a quality pie. The crust doesn't even rise and anyone who has truly had a NY pizza knows the crust rises very nicely and even has large bubbles along a crust. Some folks who enjoy a good NY pizza actually relish the crust and butter it but the pies we had recently were flat and tasteless. It is disappointing as we used to call this our go to pizza but for the price you're wasting a lot of money. read more

Paid $20 for a medium pizza with 2x pepperoni and mushrooms. I wouldn't be posting this if it was an isolated incident of topping skimping, but it seems to be the norm now at this place. We moved here from New Jersey and were so thankful to find this restaurant. We desperately missed real Italian pizza with the thin crust until we happened upon this place. It's delicious! We go once a week ever since we discovered them. Their other dishes are good as well. The staff is so friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your meal. On Wednesdays it's half off beer and wine. They get a crowd that night, and it's a lot of "regulars", which means the food is consistently good. They also have carry out. This review is regarding the service I received at Tonellas tonight!! I have never been treated at any restaurant with such disrespect as I did tonight. I went in and ordered my pizza and waited an 1 hour and 15 minutes for a pizza! I watched 4 families come in after I ordered, sit down have dinner and leave. One of the families even commented when they left, you haven't got your pizza yet? So I went back up to the cashier for the third time and ask for my money back, the guy said, I have two trainees back here and all pizzas are in the oven, I said I just want my money back, then he said he didn't have time to deal with me!
