Pulled up to The Pizza Lounge during lunch + happy hour and it was a WIN ‍ We ordered: Loaded pizza (crispy crust was eliteeee) Calzone Chicken manicotti Buffalo wings with the perfect spicy kick Everything came with a side (salad or fries ), the beers were ICE cold and only $3.50 during happy hour?! Good prices. Great service. Crispy crust. Cold beer. That's the formula. Definitely adding this to the rotation #PasadenaTX #HoustonFoodie #houstonpizza #htx #HoustonEats @eatwithmetx

Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the spicy pickles (10/10) and 2 pizzas. Fun side note, they have HoopTea on tap! Definitely check them out if you are craving pizza and a fun atmosphere. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will be back again!

First time at the pizza lounge. Service was great from beginning to end. Ordered the X Large half veggie and deluxe with jalapeños. Food and sweet tea were delicious. The atmosphere was family and couples. All enjoying their food. We will definitely be back since it is close to home. First class service. You can pay from your table via QR code that links to Apple Pay.

    Great pizza!!

Went today for our first time, and so glad we found this place, in Deer Park. The pizza was absolutely delicious!! The restaurant is quaint and comfy. Our great, friendly, and helpful waiter was Chase. This is the first pizza I've had, in TX, that truly measures up to the pizzas made in Montana. Will definitely be going back.

Love this place! Fresh, fresh dishes including build your own pizza and salads with gluten free options. Traditional Italian dishes and a full bar. We've always had excellent service. You won't ever regret eating here! Also, a fun place to catch an Astros game.

I decided to drive to town in search of a place to eat. I wanted my food to be highly caloric and tasty. I headed to an Italian place that I found in Yelp. While I was on my way Antonio's Italian Grill catch my eye, I decided to give it a try even without looking at the reviews - it was a gamble that worked out well. The food was delicious, comforting, generously sized and reasonably priced, which is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the daily special: Pork Chop Fiorentina, it came with a salad and lots of complimentary bread with a "cup" of olive oil and italian herbs. The great service, the classic decor and the cheerful atmosphere added to the experience. Five solid stars for what it is! Note that this review can't be compared to the ones I have done to other more authentic (and often more expensive) Italian restaurants - they are two different concepts

Dinner started off with delicious garlic bread and dipping sauce. Table has all the condiment trimmings of red pepper, salt, pepper, Parmesan, and garlic powder for the diehard vampire hunters. Pretty pleased to have an option for a ridiculous amount of garlic. Breaking open the bread and seeing the steam unfolding into swirls past the crisp outer layer was a gorgeous sight. Dipping sauce was good as I added a bit of the added table condiments. Dinner came with a dinner salad. I ordered crab and shrimp ravioli which was dressed with carrots and peas. I added an obscene amount of garlic and capers for an added flavor composite. The raviolis were absolutely delicious. By far some of the best ravioli that I have had in the recent years. This was my first to experience crab and shrimp stuffed ravioli and they did not disappoint. The added capers really kicked it up. Dessert was going to go the norm of tiramisu but the Dubai Chocolate cake caught my eye and salivated my mouth. The pistachio and Katafi pastry filling was superb. The slight katafi pastry crunches against the creaminess of the pistachio was texture heaven! Highly recommend this dessert! Overall my meal was wonderfully done. From start to finish, I was given great service and more importantly a full belly with an Italian ambiance. As a solo diner, it was a pleasure to visit here and enjoy a delicious meal! Will be back again Shoutout to Ariana the server on my returning visit as she was incredibly genuine and well attentive to my returning visit. Ordered an appetizer of meatballs which came out piping hot. Sauce was delicious. Made mini subs from the garlic bread. Dinner was Chicken Carciofini. Sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and chicken was seasoned well in sauce over angel hair. Found the dish refreshing in flavor and truly a new favorite of mine. Dessert was a key lime pie to go. Excellent tartness was matched with the sweetness of the topping.

There should be no need to write an update. I see that my initial review was written about 5 years ago. This is about how they handle the transferral of totaled tabs to the credit card. When I go to the Houston area, I usually eat lunch at Ivett's twice a week - yes, it's that good. And it's doable because I tend to stay in their "Bay Area," which is south of the city near Space Center Houston and in the suburbs adjacent to large Galveston Bay. Here's what the deal is, and this happened last year and a year or two before that. When I get the bill, it's usually a number that has cents attached to it, thus an "uneven" sort of number. To this, I add a tip. If the final bill were to be $12.72, for example, I might add $2.28 to bring it to an even $15.00. (I've asked restaurant employees over the years if this is weird and they tell me they have customers who do this.) Fast forward to the charge hitting the credit card. In 2025, one charge went through a meaningless few cents higher and one charge went through without the tip altogether. I've never worked in a restaurant, so I don't know how the process works where the final bill is sent over to the credit card company. In this situation, I came out ahead. But that's not the point. I want the employees who were my servers to get their tips and get what I indicated on the copy that I signed. This same exact sort of scenario showed up a year or two before when I also visited twice ... with one lunch charge coming across without the tip. Another lunch charge must have been processed with an even dollar amount as the tip. Again, I came out ahead, if you even want to look at it that way, but I want the employee to get his or her tip. The price-quality-quantity here remains at 5 stars. That's why I have filed Ivett's away in my head. I've now landed on the pattern of lunch specials that I like in any given week - a chicken dish and the manicotti dish, so I come in for those. I did try the lasagna once and, since this is in the U.S. of A. and not fine dining, they use the thicker undulating sheets of pasta that I'm not a fan of. It's to be understood. It's what most Italian-American restaurants do. That dish might come in as a 4. I applaud Ivett's for being a small restaurant that is intent on serving its customers and its community. However, if the tip for that one customer's meal is $2.28, $2.74, or $3.11 because the customer is seeking to hit a "normal" looking final number, then it's $2.28, $2.74, or $3.11. And, if they don't enter the tip at all, then I feel bad because the employee didn't get their tip and it makes me feel cheap ... cheaper than I already am to some people. Fix this little clerical issue by instructing your employees how to do so ... and keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing you all (translation: y'all) the next time I'm in the area.

So, we went to Frenchies Italian Restaurant and pleasantly surprised by the excellent meal and service. We had Chicken Parm, Veal Parm, and Seafood Fradiavolo. Growing up in Brooklyn, I certainly know good Italian food. We live a few miles from Sal & Judy's Italian Restaurant which is outside New Orleans and rated 5 Stars (Yelp) and Zagat. Sal greets everyone that comes in and their marinara sauce is sold in all the local supermarkets and Walmart. Frenchies was no different from Sal's. Everything was perfect! I told Sal and he went to eat at Frenchies on his last trip to Houston. He called me and thanked me, that's Sal. I was sad Franco's closed after 50 years in Clear Lake but Frenchies was a great find. If you're ever on the North Shore outside New Orleans, try Sal & Judy's Italian Restaurant and decide if they're equally as good. Or, take a look at their website! Everyone in NOLA knows Sal Impastato (from Sicily). If you find yourself near Little Italy in Brooklyn. NY try Evelina, Barano, or Carmentas Italian Restaurants. Sadly, after more than 5 minutes, no server approached our table. The menus were down and we were ready to order. And... no one came over. We were passed by several times and the table next to us was checked on, but not us. So we didn't get to try anything as we took the hint that we were not important and left.
