We were traveling through and stopped due to favorable reviews on Yelp. On the plus side they had a delicious and creative caprese pizza. The other slices we bought were also good. Amazing , distinctive Pizza, and even better service. My family and I were traveling through from NYC to Albany and just happened to stop by when the GPS directed us to the nearest pizza restaurant. Being from Boston area, we have lots of traditional choices in the North End, with great pizza. But, my family of 6 universally agrees, that this is the best pizza we have ever had. If you go to eat here and want a good bang for the buck, this is the place to go! Get the special that includes pizza, fried dough, garlic knots, a GREAT salad and a 2 liter bottle of soda. Staying at near by hotel. Pizza Mia stated they deliver so placed an order and was told 30-45 minutes. Pizza arrived medium warm to cold an hour and 5 minutes after initial order. When I called the restaurant was told rudely they were busy. Do not recommend delivery from this establishment. read more

I have been told many times to try this pizzeria. I finally did. I'm sure their food is great but what I ordered I did not like. Their plain pizza is very salty hardly any cheese or sauce. Also had their meatball parm sandwich and it was very dry. Hardly any sauce. I have to say that the meatball and what I got of the sauce was great. Will try again something else to see if I have better luck. read more

This is my favorite pizza shop of all time. Just so you know, I used to live in NYC up until the age of 17 so I know good pizza. The workers here are so nice and the cook even takes his time out of making pies to ask us how our food is. Pizza Mia has so many different slices-- there should be no reason you can't find a slice to your liking. read more

We ordered a pizza on Friday 04/21. The pizza arrived burnt and inedible. The first time we have had an issue here? We called to complain and they agreed to send us another to replace the first one. The second one arrived not any better. It was burnt in the middle this time and the sauce tasted like water? All of the toppings in the one half had slid into one big puddle. Overall pretty gross. When my wife called they put her on hold for more than 5 minutes, before telling her we would have to come in tomorrow for a refund? Ok, so we get our money back, but no dinner tonight?? Pizza crust was very tough. This happens when you over work the dough. Extra cheese was nothing extra just the price. Sausage was rancid. The pepperoni was good. Any body can put toppings on a pie so it all starts with how to make the crust. This is not the way pizza is supposed to taste! read more

If you like every employee saying hi one after the other it's a great place. Owner is a nice guy. However if you want good pizza this is not the place. When they 1st opened they were good now they don't put effort into what they serve. Burnt pizza I mean burnt rock hard and black kinda burnt , the toppings too. They have served me past 3 times in a row, old burnt food. And there rolls and baked items always raw or burnt. Chicken parm hero has no cheese like they forgot and bread is wet soggy but not once this is everytime. read more

Pizza Mia has the best pizza in town. I rarely eat in house, instead I usually order delivery. They are always on time and the food is always hot. I definitely recommend their chicken parm hero. I'm picky when it comes to tomato sauces but the sauce on that sandwich is awesome! read more

The "grandma style" pizza is our favorite in Newburgh! Worth the extra couple bucks for the grandma style crust. Buffalo chicken is awesome.

Pizzeria getting better and better each time we go. This has become our family's Friday night spot and we dont seem to be the only ones. The place is always jam packed. We tried them for delivery last week and while the food was good, I'm not a big fan of delivery. We are just going to continue to pick up our food. Because they are busy it usually takes about 20 to 25 minutes. It's a new place though. I hope it stays this good! read more

Just tried these guys for the first time and our family was very impressed. we picked up at the shop and were very intrigued by the impressive selection of slices, so we had to add a couple of gourmet slices to our order. when we brought the food home everything was packed out great and was very delicious. the calamari fra diablo pizza slice was to die for!! our kids fought over the cannoli cream filled dessert calzone (next time we'll get a couple) and the garlic knots were the best we have had since we moved up from the city. we finally found a spot that reminds us of home and will be ordering again soon! read more
