Best wings in the area thus far from my experience. They are juicy, flavorful, and not cooked to perfection. My go to spot to order from prior to having people over to watch a game. Pizzas are pretty good also definitely one of the more solid choices around. First time trying here and glad was not rushed on deciding what get, pretty friendly here on customers I noticed. Plus my food was done earlier then they quoted so another plus. The grandma slice was great, I like how they thick crust one and a thin one. Plenty of melted mozzarella and decent amount of sauce, plus crust was just right not charred and not underdone as well. The Italian combo, that was something, not many places put prosciutto in the sandwich and a good amount as well, then the fact it had fresh mozzarella which I never seen in one anywhere I been. All the other meats there was a very generous amount and plenty of Italian dressing to keep the sandwich well dressed, rather it being a dry sandwich. We dont get to dine in often or get takeout, but when we do and the choice is Mama T's, my absolute go to is their chicken Marsala. It's sweeter than any other I've had and it's my absolute most favorite thing on the menu. I don't like mushrooms and get the sauce in the pasta. So yummy. If I'm really hungry a side of their potato croquettes is always a good choice, as long as they are fresh! The bread that comes with an order of soup is always soft and fresh too. I looked for highly rated restaurants in the vicinity of my hotel. I was looking for family style type of Italian. I asked the young lady what I should order since I hadn't been there before. She recommended a chicken and shrimp penne pasta. I also ordered a slice of eggplant pizza. If you guys are reading this, please for the love of all that is pizza, teach people how to bake a thicker crusted pizza... your Sicilian pies used to be amazing but now it's consistently undercooked. Used to be rarely but now it's an every time occurrence. I love everything else about this establishment. It's the specific person who can't understand the method to baking a Sicilian pizza (or any thick crust pizza) . You cook the dough first. Bake it for a bit before you apply the toppings. I have never had a bad meal from Mama Theresa's! I just had a shrimp scampi dinner delivered and a tortellini dinner and they did not disappoint!!! I was immediately shocked by how big the dinners were! They were literally filled to the top with the most fresh pasta l, decadent scampi sauce, and perfectly cooked shrimp! I started getting take outs here about a year ago, I've pleasantly surprised at the service here. I am always greeted when I come in and thanked when I leave. Hands down one of the single worst pizzas in the area! Ordered a large pepperoni pie. It was greasy as hell. On top of that, their "large" is about the size of most place's small pie. Making matters worse, are their exorbitant prices.... the pizza, an over priced $8 app, and a bottle of water was $30!! Most expensive pizza in the area. Not worth the price, not even close. I happened to be working in the area. All the way up in New Windsor? I'm as blind as blind gets up there. I had no idea what to do, where to go. I didn't know what to expect coming here. Would I be blown away? Would it just be another meh pizza stop and my solution for hunger in New Windsor effectively be spoiled? Or this, or that, or this... Well, I was blown away. First off, the pizza is fantastic. I don't think you're going to find anything better in this area. My coworker told me that this place has like, a total monopoly on the whole pizza regime around these crazy parts. The staff is super nice. I kind of had forgotten how friendly people could be. The pizza was just ok, the meatballs were tasty, the manicotti was a large order and was good - on all items the sauce was a bit acidy. The hero was good - pretty good amount of meat and the bread was not too bad. I think I may have to try some of their other items to see if I can give them a better rating because for the money we felt the food was just average. Mama Theresa's is incredible. I would like to start by pointing out that the staff here are top-notch. The ordering process is comfortably informal. There is a healthy camraderie amongst the visible employees. MT's has a real nice group @ the counter and working delivery. The interior is rather satisfying to take in. There is somewhat of a rarely attained feat accomplished: wherein the counter area has a real street smart and handsome look, whilst the dining area maintains a classy and cultured look. I am very impressed. The food is great. @ my last visit, I ordered a Neopolitan brick oven pie and a personal stromboli. I had every intention of putting Mama Theresa head-to-head against my own mother's neopolitan fried pizza and stromboli. Of course you can't expect someone to throw their own mama under the bus, but Mama Theresa came pretty close. I really really liked the pizza and stromboli. I give them both a 9.9 out of 10.
