    Massive rice ball

Cozy little restaurant in the Target plaza. Was open during a particularly bad snow event and we were greeted cheerfully. Had some thick crust pizza that I've not been familiar with previously and it was delicious. Also had the rice balls which I probably shouldn't have gone for as they have been sitting there for a minute. Rookie move on my part I should have asked and that's probably why it's not a complete five on my rating.

What I thought was impossible to find in Orange County has now become easy...VEGAN PIZZA. Pizza Mia pulled through with this garlic knot crust deep deep vegan MEAT HATERS PIE. Great taste and it could probably fool the carnivores out there. 2 draw backs... 1) I had to eat it by myself, so I had a couple of slices a day. The garlic knot crust got a bit dry upon reheating. 2) I know it's vegan but this thing was expensive. Vegan food like this is always more expensive than regular meat prices but this seemed a bit more than I'm used to. Will either of those things stop me from eating Pizza Mia's vegan menu again and again...NOPE. All in all, I'm glad to have this pizzeria only 20 minutes from my house.

This pizza place is one of the only ones in town with a VEGAN CHEESE PIZZA!! We've looked everywhere in vails gate, New Windsor, and Cornwall but we haven't found a place with a vegan cheese pizza. Pizza Mia not only has a very delicious vegan pizza but they also have a whole hidden vegan and vegetarian menu! It is a hidden menu and not advertised but when we went there they gave us a print out copy of what they offer. They are a little expensive though, around $20 for a medium vegan cheese pizza and a drink. Overall a great pizza place!

So I stopped in for take out and decided on these 3 slices. Vodka which was overly sauced with globs of mozzarella. All of the sauce was falling off this slice, don't recommend it. The pizza tasted like cheese and bread. The calamari was interesting; first time ever trying it and was lacking in any sauce or cheese, just tasted like calamari on bread. The star of the show was the caprese slice, I'd definitely come back for that one again! Speciality slices were about $5 each, the portion is pretty small.

    This is not a Stromboli

So I ordered a Grandma pizza which was delicious. But I also ordered a Stromboli which was a piece of dough filled with toppings in clumps, not even spread out through out! Then just folded over. I called the restaurant and the lady on the phone was SOOOOO RUDE!!! I tried telling her it was more like a calzone, she yelled at me and said no "That's the Stromboli"!!! Absolutely not good customer service!!!

tried here after picking up a grub hub and it looked interesting, so originally, I thought to get a slice, garlic knots and a meatball sub. The flat bread pizza slices caught my interest, and I got a meatball, calamari and pepperoni slices, plus garlic knots and a desert calzone. my food was ready after I took a walk waiting on it and it was bagged and ready. first, all slices had this great vodka sauce instead of tomato sauce, different but very good. fresh mozzarella balls were yummy, again different then just shredded. All the meats were good and very generous with the portions on the slices. I never seen flat bread pizza at a pizzeria, but hey they rock it well here. Garlic knots were chewy and heavy seasoned with herbs and garlic, glad these were swimming in oil like other places do with just a pool of garlic and oil. marinara sauce was very chucky, could been smoother, since it was more like a salsa then a sauce. Dessert calzone was something I never heard of nor thought it would not exist outside maybe a fair setting. Fried dough was fluffy and had nice slight crunch, cannoli filling was creamy and sweet, very generous with the filling, it oozed out with every slice I cut. drizzle of chocolate sauce and powdered sugar was a nice touch. The calzone was 100% best for sure, glad i know it exist now.

THIS IS NOT the whole wheat crust they advertise on their on line and paper menus.

Super quick service and incredibly friendly. Food was fairly tasty. Prices are low, the chicken tenders were crispy and not at all greasy.

Go north young lady to Beacon, NY in Hudson Valley region of NYS! Labor Day 2026 out of the city…read moreescape to meet with good friends to be chosen based on value, lasting connection of unconditional for inclusion in good times. It is then my heart heals. My party of six (6) adults decided on pizza. We did not wait for a table. We did not have any reservation, but entered on a whim for lunch. I have spent almost 2.75 hours travelling and suffering MTA NYC Transit weekend planned service work on a Sunday holiday weekend via MTA shuttle bus, subways A, L, 6 trains followed by Metro North Railroad to reach Enoteca Ama. My party inquired if there is a restroom for patrons' usage whom the male waiter mocked my female friend in a snide condescending tone "NO, there is none you would have to go out to do that!" Consequential, four stars and yes, there is one facility available which is relatively clean. The business name Italian literally translation means "wine repository" or "wine library," describes a local wine shop or wine. At first I thought the AMA sounded similar to AMC Theatres. The waitress was kind to take a group photo. There are no table cloth, but there are individual cloth napkins for linens. When inquiring if the bill can be divided individually our request was blatantly dismissed which ultimately it was entered in one bill for our party of six, totaling $155.70. Price is extortionate high as expected in 2026 economic stagflation era. Enoteca AMA serves 12 inch, individual-sized cooked in a imported Italian Pavesi brick hearth wood fired oven which is not stated on their printed menu. Their menu is equivocate to obfuscate as it is not descriptive of the pizza ingredients. I am very grateful for this individual 12 inch size as it is not large, but a fairly good size fit for one adult. There are many options for pizzas. I personally find regular cheese pizza to be morbidly boring. The staff and chef or cook is very accommodating with my one person in our party specific dietary request needs of gluten free, vegetarian, no added salt. I requested cold water sustaining my thirst in addition to my libation. We were all satisfied with our respective selection of food and drink. Whereas, customer service including the resonate effects of communication is a different story. Prosciutto pizza $20.00 This was my selected pizza with Prosciutto ham, Stracciatella cheese, and arugula, NY style thin crust. I did not taste any figs. It was heavily topped with arugula which was exceedingly more the amount than average. The slices of cured ham was good. There were minimal tomato sauce. The crust was crispy, but as my standard I choose not to consume the end crust. The olive oil embedded was good. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo $13.00 It is my favorite wine because it is medium-bodied of balanced acidity making it smooth and easy to drink with 13% ABV. At long last, I finally attained by the glass for libation immersed in full enjoyment of this red wine. Vegetariana pizza $17.00 Cappricciosa pizza $19.00 Vegetable panini $18.00 Burrata mango $18.00 Vegetariana pizza $17.00 Iced tea $3.00 X2 ($6.00) Ginger ale $3.50 Cappucciono $4.50 Cider pear $8.00
