Meat lovers pizza is way above average. Very tasty!

Great pizza and great service! A lot of options to choose from on the menu. We ordered the Buffalo chicken and the meat lovers pizza. I would highly recommend both. We also got garlic Parmesan wings and they were great. I will be going back soon and probably try their new rice bowls. read more

Terrible experience at this place. I ordered two pizzas via the online ordering system and was charged. After almost two hours and no pizza, I called to check on them. After four calls with no answer, I called another pizzeria with the same name, hoping it would have the same ownership. Sadly, it didn't. I called once more, and this time got someone on the line. He didn't have the order ("I didn't get any faxes"). He then took my order again, saying it would arrive in 45 minutes. Flash forward another 90 minutes, still no pizza. My wife, who was in another room in the house, called back to check and was told it was on the road, out for delivery. Not knowing she called, I called about 15 minutes later and was told our pizza was still on the oven (clearly, a lie). At this point, we are well over three hours and still don't have our food. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this dishonest, unorganized, and unprofessional business. read more

First time trying pizza mia and they already won a customer. I ordered the margherita pizza and buffalo chicken knots,. Pizza was great and so were the buffalo knots. We dined in and the place looks clean and people that work there were very friendly. We will be back soon. read more

Awful! The pizza arrived stone cold, even though it arrived quickly. They either gave us a pie that was lying around or don't have an insulated bag for delivery. It had zero flavor, the crust wasn't crunchy and it was too sweet. My husband ordered the steak and peppers and threw it out after a few bites. The meat is shredded so thinly that it doesn't taste or feel like meat. I'm really struggling with how difficult it's been to find good pizza since we moved to the area!!! read more

Definitely a local gem. Decided to give them a shot and I was not disappointed. I ordered a regular cheese pizza, chicken kabob sub , and their super fries w/ cheese. 5/5 on all the items. The crust was cooked perfectly, the cheese to sauce ratio was just right. The chicken kabob sub was tender and fresh, super fries are a must try. Every great piece of literature needs a hero, similar to a phoenix rising from the ashes...Pizzer-Mier may have just saved my Fridee. It started off as dark and dreary as the weather, a truly raw spring day with no prospects of an outdoor LP for me and my office folk. (you may remember Southie Steve from previous reviews) Nonetheless, I heard some good things about Pizzer Mier from my boss and that the subs were quite large and filling. I noticed their user friendly website and promptly ordered a BBQ Chicken Burrito (what a great fusion concept). As always, I marked no lettuce as I do not see the value it provides. I then decided it would be a good day for a Diet Pepsi in lieu of the traditional Sprite Zero I consume. I ordered at about 11:30, and to my excitement...this arrived at my office before noon! What a turnaround time. My excitement quickly changed to panic almost immediately, I saw the blueish hieu of the regular pepsi and my heart sank. We made a weight loss competition at work in January and between Southie Steve hammering the gym and other colleagues various Paleo Diets and Lettuce Wraps a regular sugar filled pepsi simply wouldnt do. After I opened the burrito, there was a copious amount of lettuce. I faced a crossroads, do I trudge through, or risk calling the restaurant. I went with the latter, and boy was it the right decision. The gentleman who answered the phone was apologetic and extremely friendly. He assured me he would fix it. About 10 minutes later, the gentleman who initially delivered it (again, fantastic speed to market...something our "delivery" team could really learn a thing or two from. And not only did he correct the Burrito...he even remembered my Diet Pepsi without me even asking. At a time where our local teams are both down in their respective playoff series, they could really learn from the folks at Pizzer Mier on how to construct a comeback, similar to the Patriots in Super Bowl LI. Bravo Pizzer Mier, you have been added to the LP Delivery Rotation. Oh and for the Burrito, tendah chicken, savory BBQ sauce, not too much sour cream. 9.6/10. read more

Tried this place for my son's birthday party and it was absolutely amazing. The pizza was definitely made with fresh ingredients and the slices were huge! I HATE THIS PLACE!! Why four stars you may ask? Well, because of this place, I can never order another steak and cheese sub anywhere again. Por que? Well I'll tell you. Because this is the best steak and cheese sub I've had in a long time - and compared to other places, there really is no point to order it anywhere else. The steak has no gristle in it. Cheese is fresh and applied at the perfect intervals to be sure you get a delicious mouth full of cholesterol soaked goodness in every bite. The bread is soft. I always add grilled onions because I have this strange obsession with getting them on almost everything I eat. If you've seen any of my other reviews you know I'm a creature of habit and I make a point to get this sub every Wednesday while I'm in Stoneham. The guy I work with has gotten several things including pizza and pasta and has no complaints about them - so if steak and cheese isn't your thing then there are options, none of which I can accurately comment on. Ordering a burger at a pizza joint seems silly right? WRONG! This half pound Angus burger with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion was probably one of the best burgers I've had in awhile. Big, hearty, good veggies on a nice roll with tasty fries on the side. Only complaint was there wasn't a lot of fries in the order. My waistline thanks the cook for that. Best pizza in town I'd say. Their buffalo chicken pizza is especially good. Most other places make kinda gross. But Pizza Mia puts the spicy chicken on a regular cheese pizza. Comes out very good. Their cheese is good too. This is the only place in Stoneham I get pizza these days. read more

I ordered today and paid with a credit card, expecting my food to be promptly delivered. (1) I had ordered delivery from them before; and (2) They are on Foodler as delivering to my address. Well, AN HOUR LATER, my order was cancelled because they said they wouldn't deliver this far (I'm really not far). I don't know if it was unusually busy, they lacked a driver, or what.. and honestly, it doesn't matter. Cancelling an order AN HOUR after you charge someone's credit card is bad customer service, and doesn't sound very lawful.. Skip this place. Up here, there is a pizza place on every corner. This was our favorite Take out place before the change in ownership. Food, though never cheap, was always great and plentyful. Calzones are are lacking something now. As far as rest of the menu, disappointing. I ordered the Steak Tip Dinner ($13.75). What I got was steak pieces, and not many of them; and the box was overflowing with the sides (Rice and Corn). I ordered a pizza mia pizza, with no olives(because I'm allergic) and no mushrooms, because I hate the taste of them. The fries were delicious, but anyone can make good fries. I opened the pizza box, and immediately regretted ordering from here. I received a pizza mia pizza, with extra olives and extra mushrooms. I threw the pizza out and ate the fries. Not impressed and ill make it known to everyone, to never eat at this establishment. They don't know how to read slips. We got two foot long subs at Pizza Mia on our way to the airport: a turkey and an italian. The fellow who took our order was kind enough to offer us the lunch special which saved us $4. We got two amazing footlongs for $5 a piece that were very tasty with great bread. Recently moved to Stoneham. Pizza Mia is one of my favorite pizza places in the area. Their delivery is timely. I have always got my pizza in 30-45 minutes. Which is not too bad. They have plenty of vegetarian pizza options. My favorite is California Pizza. I will highly recommend them. read more

Food showed up a half hour late, because the delivery driver was given the wrong address. I order through Grubhub, so it's not like I messed up the address. And after three phone calls and directions, the driver didn't even get out of his car to give me my food. Simply passed it through the window. Horrid service for just alright food. read more

I agree with the comments on the delivery - they are always prompt, regardless of time, weather, or any circumstance.. In the plus column: 1. Spicy spiral fries (get well done). 2. 3 sizes of subs (though small and medium have little difference). 3. They understand you (and you them) and have never messed up an order. In the 'need to improve' category: 1. Slices more often than that are lukewarm and stale. 2. No bacon on club sandwiches (c'mon - really?) All in all a solid sub choice, consistent as can be. read more

This was the most disgusting food I have ever ordered....ziti alla carbonara. They used salt pork in huge chunks instead of bacon. Super gross, also it was supposed to be in Alfredo sauce, but there was a POOL of grease in the bottom of the tray. They say new Management but there are the same people there. Gross food before. Literally every other place in the world if you order chicken on a salad or a chicken sandwich you get a chicken breast. Not Pizza Mia though, you get shitty, cheap ass chicken thighs... We frequent Pizza Mia almost weekly for takeout. The menu offers a wide variety, and the food is always delicious. We LOVE the Potato Skin Pizza! It is great as a calzone too. Speaking of calzones, Pizza Mia makes the best! Our favorite is the chicken parm. The outside of the calzone is brushed with oil and garlic, making the dough so flavorful. The smell alone will knock your socks off! The pizza is great, whether you want a plain cheese, or a specialty flavor like the potato skin, or the barbecue chicken. Amazing! The burgers are so flavorful and juicy, and the Mediterranean salad is so fresh, with Romaine lettuce, artichokes, feta cheese. I tried a pepper steak with cheese sub last night for the first time. Excellent! Not an ounce of fat on the steak, it was seasoned perfectly, with just the right amount of peppers and cheese. They also have a terrific tuna melt plate, and grilled cheese plate for the kiddos! Chicken fingers and toasted ravioli are great too!
