Pizza moon is located right next to the Nintendo area of Epic Universe and was a much needed vibe change from the bright and busy area of Nintendo to a much calmer vibe that Pizza Moon offers. It is still a sit down quick service order restaurant, that also offers a pick up spot. They offer wood fired style pizza in that can feed 2-3, people depending on appitites of those in your party. As well as salads and pastas. Our pizza came with 6 slices, for what would amount to a normal sized woodfire style pizza. Much better than your standard theme park pizza options that you would expect. Plus they have options with unique topping options, including one with Ube. Don't let the fancy options scare you away, they have pepperoni and the more kid friendly version of a cheese... But for the cheese on the app you would order the pepperoni pizza that's listed, and it offers the option to click no pepperoni. I also loved the theming, as it's a nod to the film A trip to the moon ... Which some folks might know better as what Smashing Pumpkins referenced in their Tonight Tonight video.
I stopped by this restaurant to try the UBE pizza and I am so happy that I did. As soon as I came in noticed how beautiful the theme this restaurant has. It definitely looked magical. When you walk in an associate asks you how many are in your party and has another associate with a light guiding you your seat. On the table there is a QR code that links you to your Universal application so you can select what you want from the menu. I chose the UBE purple pizza and it was a very good pizza. The pizza was about $20 and it is more of a personal pizza size but you can definitely share with someone. Kevin the associate brought me the pizza and he was super funny and sweet. I will definitely come back to this place.
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie thats a good lunch... this place is fun and excellent for a sit down meal for groups of any size. After an adrenaline packed morning at EPIC Universe - featuring me being anxious to eat because some of those rides unleased the scaredy cat and motion sickness in me - it was honestly comforting to eat something as welcoming and trustworthy as a solid pepperoni pizza. I had done research on the menu and saw that many people recommend the Pizza Lunare featuring the ube, which sounds very whimsical and interesting to me, but I just couldn't get my spirit and soul to be adventurous with my meals at thatl moment. Maybe next time? This restaurant is huge, you walk in and there's alot of space on the left side to stand for when it gets busy and there's a line - but once you get to the front, you just place your order and get a number then go to the seating area and choose any table. Service was fairly quick - I don't remember waiting too long for the pizza to come, and staff is friendly amid the chaos and frantic nature of the place. Like I said, the pizza was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves - good portion size for 2-3 people and we washed it down with a refreshing soda. Also loved the ceiling decor, there was art of people swinging on moons, very cool.
Wow, this was actually better than expected. I didn't have high expectation due to the mixed sentiment in reviews. We got the pizza lunare aka ube crusted pizza. I really liked the chewiness of the crust. I don't normally finish all the crust on my pizza, but I devoured this one. Flavor was not bad either, but I do wish there's some sort of build-your-own topping option. They're probably usually too busy to accommodate for that though. Cheese lovers would probably enjoy this one too. The pizza was definitely shareable between two people; although I did see someone trying to attempt eating one by himself (he didn't finish and left the crust behind). Overall, this was a very solid place to check out at Epic. No regret getting this.
We loved pizza lunar! From the time we ordered until the pizza hit our table it was about 10 minutes. My husband and I devoured the whole thing! The purple Ube crust was so cool! I loved the hunks of pancetta. After reading several posts about food at epic universe, this place was high on my list! There was ample seating and like other restaurants at epic universe, you can scan the QR code, order, and get text updates with when your food is being prepared and when it is about to be delivered.
Came here for dinner with the family and we ordered the Pizza Lunare, Pizza Cowboy and both baked pastas: Chicken Alfredo and Rigatoni Meteor Melt. As far as amusement park food goes this place was pretty good. Unfortunately our Pizza Lunare came out a little sparse with toppings and unevenly distributed. But the taste itself was solid, can't really taste the ube though. When it comes to the baked pastas, we thoroughly enjoyed the rigatoni but the Alfredo came out initially overcooked to where the noodles were crunchy on the outside. But what warranted the 4 star is the service. We told the manager and he brought out a fresh baked Alfredo and it was miles better than our initial dish. Overall loved the vibe in the restaurant and the food 4.1/5
As a "Disney adult" I'm familiar with park food. I had heard great things about epic universe and the food and was excited. The decor is beautiful. I didn't take pics but it was so cool! That was the highlight. Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience with the ordering and food. We waited in line and the hostess sent us to our seat. As soon as we sat down a lady and her daughter told us we were in their seats. We let them know that this was where we were seated and they said they both had gotten up to get drinks and the hostess may have thought they left. Kinda weird but we went back to the hostess to be reseated. From there we were reseated. There were no menus so we used a qr code to get the menu and order. When we had our items added we terrines an error message in the universal app. My son signed into his and received the same error. I got up and found a server and asked what to do. He had me shut down my phone and then reopen the app. It still didn't work. Mind you this was 1pm and the restaurant was very busy. So the server kept trying to help as he was delivering food. Finally he said I could go to the bar and order. I got to the bar and waited in a long line. I was able to order and the food came out quickly. The food was fair. Not very flavorful. Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing lunch experience for really strange reasons that had never happened at a restaurant I've eaten in before. Being sat at the wrong table, not being able to order, it was weird.
Back at Epic for Pizza Moon! This sweet and savory pizza hit all the right notes. The roasted garlic bechamel wasn't too overpowering and I was surprised I got a pretty generous serving of pancetta spread about the ube dough. It's a decent size and I easily saved half of the pizza for later to enjoy during Celestial Goodnight.
The ube pizza was very nice and can't go wrong with classic pepperoni. The pasta was not seasoned enough, but the concept is good.
What a great option for a meal inside Epic! We got there around lunch time and saw a line forming inside. While waiting, we were told to order through the Universal app and then wait in line for a table. While waiting, my family and I decided to go with the Harvest Moon and the giant mushroom. We got our pizzas within 10min of ordering. We started off with the harvest moon which was pretty good and loved the fresh ingredients. I loved the artichokes, olives and peppers on top which were also flavored well. The giant mushroom was my favorite one which had a nice white sauce, plenty of mushrooms and truffle oil on top which was quite tasty! Both pizzas were around $20 which was more than reasonable. Overall, a great spot to get lunch or dinner if you're in the park!
If I could, I would give Pizza Moon a 4.5 if they were a standalone shop. Within the whole Universal theme parks I would say this is the best option. The sit down restaurant is self seat at a table, order through the Universal app, scan the table, and wait for your order to be delivered to your table. The decor and interior is pretty cool and ties in with the Epic Universe theming. Additionally, the pizza is cooked in a pizza oven which is pretty authentic. Pizza Lunare: this pizza feature an ube crust which is very very light and the whole pizza is a garlicky, cheesy pizza. The pancetta adds a nice saltiness while the ricotta adds a nice sweetness to it. this pizza would be the one I recommend for the first visit. Pizza Moon Pepperoni: You can't go wrong with a pepperoni pizza and they use pepperoni cups. You can also add on sausage for $2 extra which is nice. Overall, a great pizza spot!
I decided to try Pizza Moon at Epic Universe after seeing so many great reviews online, especially about the Pizza Lunare. That's exactly what we ordered and it definitely lived up to the hype for the most part. It had garlic, ricotta, pancetta, and a purple ube crust. It did feel like it was missing just a little something, I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was still absolutely delicious. The ordering process is super convenient, with QR codes on tables inside the restaurant. You order from your seat and the food is supposed to be delivered to you. However, it didn't happen smoothly for us. We got notification that our food was ready and was going to be delivered to our table. More than 10 minutes go by and we were still waiting. We ended up going to check and it was just sitting under the heat lamp the whole time which was a little odd.
We couldn't wait to try this place so came straight in the park and walked over here first. We were met outside and told to get in line inside and start our order on the app but not place it until we were sat. We put the order in but wanted plain pasta for our son and not able to place the order with a modification. A server told us to enter an allergy and the chef would be over. We ordered the pepperoni pizza to share. Our pizza came and no pasta so we asked the person who brought our food to check. She said the chef would be out. We waited a little longer and were brought baked pasta with sauce and cheese which my son won't eat and again said we wanted plain pasta. We ate pizza and still no pasta. When Kevin (only person whose name i remember) came to clear our table we asked him to check also. Another large amount of time went by and after talking to four people by then we left. We ended up at another spot and paying for another meal so our son could eat. 16 dollars in the hole isn't the end of the world but the customer service from walking in to leaving is seriously lacking. Communication? Forget it. Chef to the table? Never happened. Won't return.

If there's one thing I would love to fly to Orlando to try again, it's Pizza Moon. The Pizza Lunare or Ube Pizza at Pizza moon was unmatched and so delicious. My only regret is running out to time to eat it fresh off the grill. 4.8/5 I normally don't like pizza but I was super curious about the ube pizza as everyone was saying it was the best pizza they had in a theme park ever and could rival restauarant pizza. I have to agree and say the Pizza Lunare was delicious. The inside of the restaurant was so stunning and beautiful. The facades were themed to a Victorian theater and decorated beautifully with celestial cut outs. The actual cooking area was also gorgeous with a rocket ship themed pizza oven and stage themed backdrop. There was a line to be seated, but nothing too long as it was packed during lunch time. Once we paid and were seated, we got our pizza quickly and I was pleasantly surprised bout how gorgeous the pizza looked. I loved how space themed it was from the purple pizza craters to the globs of ricotta. I was really stuffed from the day and only had room for a single slice of the pizza in the restaurant and it was so good. The garlic paired so nicely with the entire cheesy breading and there was no taste of ube at all despite the deep purple color. The pancetta wasn't salty and paired nicely with the fresh ricotta. I'm normally not a fan of cheese but the ricotta was so delicious with the garlic confit. I unfortunately was so stuffed and in a rush so I had to take the pizza to go to the Orlando Airport/on the plane, but even the flight attendants commented on how they were jealous of my pizza. Even when I ate my pizza on the plane, it was still so delicious cold and almost wished I bought another pizza to LA to eat at home. I still dream of this pizza and wish I could eat it again some time soon! read more

Foodie here... As far as theme park food goes, Pizza Moon is absolutely a 10/10 And a fantastic stop that's even affordable for you and the family. We had four different Wood-Fired pizzas (Pepperoni, Cheese, Lunare {UBE Crust FTW!!!}, and the Harvest Moo! {Spicy}), and all of them were great. We also had the Moon Cheese Caesar salad and the Rocket Fuel Salads and both were fantastic. Really chill space inside that's decorated extremely well. Really comfortable seating here and just enough fans and AC to cool you off when it's hot and humid. You can go ahead and pre-order on the app and they will seat you when you get up front, or you can wait till you get to the front of the line and order the counter. They choose your seat for you, you to make sure you've got space for your whole party. Universal really did things right and this park and its amenities have not ceased to amaze me yet. read more

Well I am quite impressed with super moon. Normally I am not one to be a big fan of meals at amusement parks but here super moon really stands out. Almost all amusement parks meals are overpriced catering to a more expensive audience and as a result my family and I tend to bring our own meals to a park, but after seeing all the reviews of super moon at epic universe we decided to give it a shot. Near Mario land there is a lot of indoor seating for your family with QR codes at each table and we order on our phones. Staff then brings the pizza to you. The decor here is also quite a vibe and fits in well with the epic universe experience. Within 10 mins staff brought out our order of one mushroom pizza and not going to lie I was quite impressed. As someone that lives in NYC with quite a lot of pizza options i think the hot and fresh mushroom pizza right out of the oven is one of the best pizza meals I have had. Quite cheesy and plenty of mushrooms, the four slices is perfect for a pair of two. I would highly recommend trying for a quick meal in an amusement park. I'm glad the food came out fast so we had more time to experience the rides and walk around the park. Would strongly recommend that mushroom pizza. read more

From the moment i walked in i fell in love with this spot. The victorian style theatre was all my old soul could ask for. Perfect ambiance within the celestial part of the park. We ordered from the table and the food was at our table within 10 minutes. First of all the pizza is a perfect size to share especially if you been snacking all day at the park. This is the ube pizza of my dreams, i still dream about it 1 week later. From the crust to the garlic bechamel its perfection. Large seating areas and friendly, helpful staff make this a great place for a break. There's so much to look at and even when full the noise level isn't terrible. I saw salads that looked good but we decided to share a pepperoni pizza. It was dripping in grease and even though it was brown, the crust was really soggy. Honestly I've had better frozen pizza. That said, they do have other options - like pasta - and it's a nice place to take a break. Like all the other food venues at Epic Universe, you order by QR code and food/drinks come out quickly. read more

We were on a school trip and were at EPIC for the day and after being there all day we stopped for some pizza. My daughter got a pepperoni pizza b/c no matter where you go, a kid won't turn that down. I got the Rocket Fuel Salad and you definitely won't be disappointed. The decor is top notch and makes you forget that you are in a resturant in an amusement park. The waiters don't take your order but you use the QR code on the table, so they are just running orders, the wait time wasn't long considering we were a large group. I don't know if I will be back to EPIC anytime soon but I know where to go for a good salad. read more

I heard this place was a must stop place when you're at epic universe. Located in centennial park. Not too busy when we went so we were seated right away. I like the convenience of ordering on the universal app and when you're ready and seated, they bring it right to you. So the service is quicker. Of course we had to get the pizza lunare for the ube crust and the moon cheese Ceasar salad. Omg it was so delicious. read more

When you are at any theme park, expect nothing more than just pizzas, burgers and hotdogs. We are epic universal and it's lunch time. We saw the place half empty and didn't want to chance at another restaurant with no tables, we visited here. You grab a table, place and pay your order on an app using your mobile order and enter your table number. When the food is ready, an employee will bring the food and silverware to your party. We had the pasta/ravioli, pizza which is supposed to be for two, and a full antipasta salad. The food was decent but the pizza is a bit salty for our liking. Like all theme parks, food costs are expensive but this place is a bit more decent pricing. The interior is pretty cool. It's a theme of carnival like scenes so we enjoyed looking around the walls and ceilings. There are also outdoor seating but we opt for indoors. We do notice that while we waited for our food, a line began form quickly outside to get a table. My suggestion is to get here few minutes before noon to avoid lines. We got in about 10 minutes to noon. read more

Date of visit: December 1, 2025 After several hours of rides (okay, after several hours of waiting for rides), we were ready for dinner and preferably somewhere that we could sit down and rest our weary feet for a few minutes. After contemplating some of the other more upscale places via the Universal app, we settled on Pizza Moon. It's one of our basic food groups and it is something we could finish without carting leftovers around the park! We did not need a reservation and had just a small wait before being ushered to a table. There was no explanation, we just saw the QR code and after not seeing anyone for a couple minutes, snapped the code and decided on a pizza. They do appear to make the pizzas fresh as there was a small wait before it came out and then when it was delivered we were able to interact with a staff member, who was very nice. She confirmed that we could use the Coke Freestyle machine to fill up our water bottle and brought us parmesan cheese packets for the pizza. Speaking of the pizza, it was quite good! Normally the items at Universal pale in comparison to Disney, but we both enjoyed the pepperoni pizza--so much so that I forgot to snag a pic before we dug in. In terms of decor, it's very whimsical and is really a nice extension of the Celestial theme of the park. read more

Service was top notch and if you ever meet Terry, he is without a doubt the most personable, warm and caring individual who goes the extra miles to make sure your stay at the park is capped off with even more of a wonderful experience at this restaurant! 4 of us ordered three pizzas and drinks. We ordered a Pepperoni, a Nanarossa and a Trip to Vesuvio These three pizzas are the best we have ever had in an amusement park and maybe even at a stand alone restaurant! The cheese was stringy, the sauce was tangy, and the crust was crispy on the bottom with chewiness on top! So yummy!! The desserts were very tasty too! The brownie and the cake desserts were absolutely delicious!! The ambiance is so inviting and the employees are super friendly and accommodating, especially Terry! The Lunare pizza was very good. It's got ricotta and garlic on it with an ube crust, and we ate every bit of it! You order on your phone though and you can get water cups from the staff. In some ways, I've noticed that this mobile ordering method makes the food come out faster but I wished they added basic drinks like a water cup at least. read more

Why 4 stars? Because the pizza was actually legitimate. --- --- --- Prior to our visit to Epic Universe, we did a little food research and the one thing we knew we would definitely be doing is visiting Pizza Moon. The Lunare pizza was legitimately very good - I would give it 5-stars even if it were just a pizza outside of a theme park. The Pepperoni Pizza was just standard fare, but you could certainly do worse at a theme park. We beat the lunch rush before noon and were able to just walk right up and snag a table. But shortly after we sat down, all the tables filled up and there was quite a line forming. It's a massive place, so I don't think people had to wait too long, but I definitely recommend arriving before noon to avoid that. read more

Yum!! The ube pizza did not disappoint. So tasty and flavorful. When we walked in for lunch we were worried about the line, but thankfully it did move fast. Even if you order online you have to wait in line for them to seat you at a table. We were able to queue up our order and have it ready to go to scan at a seat once seated. Someone tried to take our seat when we got up to get our fountain drinks since they ordered online. Luckily a waitress ran over to help. Also love that they have the Coke Freestyle machines. Once we scanned in the pizza didn't take too long to arrive. Highly recommend giving this spot a go. I only wish we waited for dinner since this spot is open until park close and the spot we wanted to go to closed earlier. read more
