The pizza and Stromboli were good. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating.

We stopped in here for pizza one evening on a whim as it always looked pretty busy and I am so glad we did. We got a half and half pizza and it was delicious!! I love the crust as is it crispy and not too thin. The toppings are generous and fresh. We also started off with some cheesy garlic bread that was delicious. The inside is nice and clean and the service was excellent. The following week we went back again and got a different pizza, the Palace Special, and added a salad and everything was once again, excellent. The salad was large and tasty and the dressing was good. And again the service was excellent, friendly and attentive. I have now found this is my go to Pizza Place in Georgetown but I am determined to try some of the other food one of these days! If you are nearby I would defiantly say give it a try. read more

Who is on a bus trip with my students so I dropped them off at the school and I came back to the shopping center and saw this little what look like a pizzeria, I went inside and it was a lot more than a pizzeria, everybody was friendly. The waitress I had was Helayne. Let me tell you about her. She was so attentive to keeping my drink filled and making sure that I was happy with my meal. The teamwork in this establishment is unreal. I mean everyone is working together when somebody gets up and leaves all these ladies will go 2 that table and clean it and get it ready for the next person all while still taking care of you! Excellent pizza. Crust was crunchy and great flavors. Had sausage pizza and their suprema and both were flavorful. Price was reasonable about $20 for a large. One nit to pick, on the sausage pizza they were skimpy on the sausage so would rate it a 7/10, if it were a cheese only pizza I would I give it a 9/10. read more

You know, I actually wanted to try the pizza here, but we still haven't had it yet. I hope we do, some day! We tried several other dishes, and they were all pretty good, and several times. I have visited Pizza Palace a few times recently. My favorite waitress, Helene, was off on my last visit. I will visit when she is on duty! She takes care of me! I really think 3.5 not 3. ok. ambiance is outdated but clean from what I can see! the staff front and back very nice, very accommodating and good! the food is simple but well made and the portions are huge! simple e is sometimes way better! now we are pizza snobs but their pizza is EXCELLENT! So we ordered 2 subs to go- eggplant parm and chicken parm sandwich. They wrapped the sandwiches in paper before putting them in aluminum foil. The paper stuck to all the cheese and in order to get the paper off to eat the sandwich it took all the cheese with it! The chicken parm was not chicken cutlets but overcooked, dry nuggets stuffed in the sandwich without any taste. Very disappointing to say the least! read more

I used to come here as a child and nostalgia brought me back. The place hasn't changed in 20+ years and looks exactly the same and it is consistent because the pizza tastes the same. As long as you stick to pizza you'll be fine. The fish sandwich and pastas were very basic and nothing special. read more

Stopped in for dinner, the building isn't much to look at- it is in a strip mall after all, but the food and service were great. The pizza was the best I've tasted and the crust was perfectly crispy and soft. The decor is a little worn and dated but the line for carryout was nonstop and now I know why. We had pizza and a tossed salad and it was excellent, even reheating the pizza the next day it was still so good. We will DEF be back! read more

Wow! Tough crowd up in here... I admit that the pizza is not great - a bit too cheesy for my tomato pie palate, but it was no worse than Okay. And, the service was fine. Sarah was friendly, helpful, and moving as fast as she could. On the road between Philly and Newport News, Georgetown is a natural watering hole to get out, stretch, and have a small bite to tide you over until reaching your destination. While I would love to see a better joint on the strip, the population and vagabond traffic is not deep enough to attract a real serious alternative. So, Pizza Palace gets the nod. read more

I'm surprised at the poor reviews. While the restaurant isn't what you'd call, "fine dining", my husband and I frequently eat there. Their waitstaff is friendly, prompt, and eager to please. Food is terrific. We enjoy the spaghetti, pizza, stuffed peppers, sandwiches, and salad. It is a real price performer. Lots of specials, reasonable along with huge portions. If you're looking for local, down home comfort food, this certainly fits the bill. read more

My co-workers encouraged me to order with them for lunch. They said it's a great place to order lunch. I ordered a Greek salad with gyro (meat on top of the salad). What I got was lettuce, tomato and cucumber with meat on top. None of the good stuff that would make it a Greek salad were included. The menu read kalamata olives, red onion and feta cheese were included. I am incredibly disappointed since I can't leave work to go get it corrected and I don't want to send my co-worker back out because of their mistake. Don't bother wasting your money. i got a bbq chicken pizza and the bacon was raw as hell and the chicken could've killed someone if you threw it at them. my girlfriend got a veggie calzone with what seemed like two day old raw veggies. the western fries were mushy and bland. overall terrible and we're never eating here ever again. 0/10 read more

We've been ordering their fish & chips many many times. It comes with fries and coleslaw. They were always willing to substitute fries with another coleslaw or soup or salad as we want to eat healthy. But during our recent order, they refuse to substitute fries. And we also found that the amount of fish we got was less than before: there were two pieces of whole fish fillets, and now it was one and half. Brought a large group (25) for lunch 2 days in a row when in the area for a baseball tournament. They were accommodating for such a big group both days. The first day was much better as they were quick and everyone's food was good. The second day it was slower bringing out the food. I don't know if anybody else had an issue but My food was wrong. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak which the menu said came with lettuce, tomato and onion. I told the server no tomato and if it came with mayo, no mayo. He said what do you want on it- so I said lettuce and onions. It came as the very last meal to be delivered and it had, lettuce, onion, banana peppers, tomato, pickles and mayo. While I primarily stick to their Meatball sub, I can say that it is extremely delicious. I get it at least 1x a week and I am never disappointed. Moved down here from New Castle and it's been one of the best i have had in Sussex. Their Lamb gyro was surprisingly good. They REALLY pack in a lot of meat which is good but there is not enough vegetables in it so it comes off dry. The food wasn't terrible, but the service really pissed me off. At 9:45 we were told told to hurry up to place our order because they were shutting down the grill. They close at 11:00. In terms of the crust, I would give it a 4/10, sauce a 6/10, and cheese-toppings a 7/10. The crust tasted like a dry waffle: unflavored, dry, and disappointing. The sauce was bland but a bit garlicky. The cheese and topping were generous, but cheese does not a pizza make. This pizza left me disappointed and eager for something better. Maybe papa johns?
