I had made a reservation through their website which brought me to open table. On Open Table it said they were doing a "new" happy hour during my requested visit. However, when we arrived at the location there was no happy hour going on. This was my first visit here. The ambiance was bright and roomy with New York deco and photos. The staff were friendly and courteous. Our server who was also the bartender greeted us in a friendly manner and told us the specials of the day as well as recommendations of best sellers. We opted for the $30 special for 2 which was a choice of Greek salad, Caesar salad or soup to start for each person and then a pizza to share. The pizzas are 12". We ordered the Greek and Caesar salads and the Arugala Bianca pizza. We also ordered the Smoked Burrata as an appetizer. The Caesar and Greek salads were fresh and rather large portion. The Smoked Burrata doesn't come with any bread so you have to pay extra for $3 for that. I feel it should be included. Delicious! The roasted red pepper pesto is very tasty but does have a little bit of heat. The bread is made in house and served with an herb butter. Very yummy! Definitely a must have! The pizza was nicely layered with toppings. It comes with a truffle oil but because I am allergic to mushrooms we did not have that. It definitely needs a little more of something. A balsamic drizzle would have been perfect and probably the truffle oil. It was nicely cooked with a crust crunch with each bite. Everything so fresh on it. Yummy! Definitely of the NY style type of pizza. Overall we were pleased with the meal and experience. We will be back to choose a pizza with some sauce on it. read more

If you're gluten-free, they have a great cauliflower gf crust that is one of the best in the area! I love brick-oven pizza, and SoHo Slice didn't disappoint. I've had the quattro formaggi pizza twice now, and while I enjoyed it both times, the second time had a bit too much wet cheese on top, which is the only reason I gave this 4-stars instead of 5. The inside of the restaurant is cute, and the menu has a nice selection of options. The staff were conscientious of my gluten allergy, which I really appreciated, and they were kind. I've been surprised many times when we've driven past that there aren't more cars in the parking lot, so I'd highly recommend giving them a try if you're on the fence! read more

This is a spot where you can quickly get pizza, salad and a drink. It's super cute inside! We had heard good things so my friend and I wanted to give it a try! My friend and I were not impressed by the pizza. We got the Hot Italian and added roasted red peppers. The sauce and flavors were fine. However, it was very wet and the toppings slid off our pizza. Yes it's cute, but idk, we both felt it was not NY at all. We're both pretty big pizza people. I love all kinds, my husband is a bit pickier. Transparently we wouldn't come back. Stopped here on a Saturday night for a quick bite. Inside is cute and tables aren't crammed together so that was nice. Overall good ambiance. Service was great, super friendly and attentive. We ordered the cheesy bread and it was excellent so we had high expectations for the pizza. Unfortunately you can only get one size of pizza unless you order to go which I think is really strange. The pizza was okay - we had a pepperoni and vodka sauce pizza. The pepperoni's were the mini ones and a little too spicy for my liking and the vodka pizza was really lacking in flavor. The best part was the crust which was delicious, and I am not a crust person. We tried this restaurant after seeing reviews for it and being close by. We were promptly seated and built our own pizzas. I got mine with mushrooms and my wife got one for her and my son which had pepperoni and Italian sausage. We also got a child sized cheese pizza. The pizza was very good, with crisp crust and the fresh toppings. We didn't think the prices were too out of bounds, as the pizza for the full sized one were around $17-20 each. So, lets talk about all of the things!! Ambiance, its pretty nice here, I won't complain for sure. Its a little loud, and a little basic but its fine. All is well! Service, hey man its good, its fast, waiter was cordial and polite. No problems there, the pizzas came out in a reasonable time. Appetizers came out before the entrees which is ideal, absolutely 0 complaints! Finally the food. My crust was delicious, nice, just crispy enough to hold everything up and support my pizza, but not burned. Now, my wife got a regular pizza, no cauliflower, and it was also quite tasty. Not too crispy, not too soft, hers was admittedly a little less crisp than mine but that's okay she likes it less crisp. All in all, I can give them a 4, well done lads. read more

Waitress went to get the draft beer list and never returned. Someone brought water. We left after 10 minutes and saw her hanging out behind the bar as we walked away. I will never eat in there again. I will state that we have had their Hot Italian pizza as carryout and it was ready on time. However it was soggy in the middle which indicates it was not cooked enough and it fell apart when we pulled the slices apart. Pizza selection is limited and sauces on them not appetizing. Not sure why everyone gives this place such low reviews. I ate there a few months ago and discovered they were to my knowledge the only pizzeria in the area offering vegan cheese. Since having Covid I developed a dairy and egg allergy, but was excited I could once again get restaurant pizza. I gave the owner feedback that he should try a different supplier and their new product now tastes exactly like real mozzarella, melts perfectly and to top it off, Monday nights are half-priced pizza. My son got the meatball sub and loved it. They have very good sauce, not sweet like some of the other places nearby, and the crust comes out crisp and is not too thick or thin, imho. This is the Goldilocks of upscale pizza places in Rehoboth for people with food sensitivity but who also want a good pizza at a price lower than national chains for a 10" personal pie. read more

The bar service was great as well, cool wine glass, large drink menu and the best Shirley temples for the kids. It's casual but more upscale but not stuffy which is a nice option for this area. This restaurant/bar replaced Atlantic Social. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I couldn't get a slice of pizza at a place with the word "slice" in its name. I'm from New York City (Manhattan, born and raised) so, frankly, I'm fully qualified to judge pizza, at least as much as Portnoy is. I got a 10" personal pan pizza and a Coke. The pizza was good, no question about it, but it wasn't "New York". A good crust, but not "New York"; good sauce but ... well, you know. There were a few small islands of mozzarella in addition to a thin veneer of shredded, melted pizza cheese. So it was good but I'm not sure one would find it, just like this, south of Houston street in lower Manhattan. Otherwise, it has a nice, contemporary atmosphere and several big flat screens with (what else?) sports on display. Based on my brief, limited experience, I would give it a 8.25. read more

Being gluten-free is very difficult in southern Delaware. The majority of restaurants have been slow to catch on that, for many customers, it's not a choice. I finally got to experience all the delicious pizza toppings my husband husband has been raving about here. The gluten-free cauliflower crust was outstanding. You would never know it was cauliflower. Went in on a Saturday evening and the place was dead. Atmosphere was nice, service was really slow, food was ok, but overpriced. They bill this place as NY style...it isn't. Not even close. Took almost a half hour to get our 2 drinks because "the bartender was busy." Um...but the bar is empty. The pizza is a small 4 slice Margherita pizza. Tasted fine. This week I ordered delivery from SoHo Slice twice and was positively impressed! Their Buffalo wings were meaty and moist. Celery, carrot sticks, blue cheese dressing, and extra buffalo sauce were included. The Mushroom Madness pizza was the bomb! Mushrooms, porcini cream sauce, mozzarella cheese, arugula, and truffle oil... I'm drooling just thinking about it! Will definitely be reordering it again. Craving those scrumptious mushrooms again, I decided to try the Filet Mignon Rigatoni! OMG! Picture 2 thick, perfectly cooked (medium) tenderloin medallions, mushrooms, porcini cream sauce, truffle oil, asiago on top of rigatoni noodles! Yes, it was as good as it sounds! Definitely a lick-the-plate-clean kind of dinner that I highly recommend and can't wait to order again this week when my company comes to town. For dessert, I tried their Tiramisu. The serving size was large and it melted in my mouth. It did not disappoint. Perfect end to a wonderful meal. So I used to live across the street when it was Atlantic Social and after a very bad experience on NYEve I never went back. I have tried SoHo multiple times and the food is good. This trip I am writing about for the bartender (if I could only remember her name :). I went specifically for this Chicken Pesto sandwich they had but it was removed on the new menu. FYI - Online is the old menu you better change it :):) She quickly got me menu's and a water. Kept my water filled throughout. I ordered the 3 Waygu meatball...were good, came close to being excellent only because they were a tad warm but very good and sauce was excellent. I order another chicken sandwich and she offered to get me a side of sauce and pesto to make it like the old sandwich. Unfortunately to my dismay they had no pesto. Not sure how a Italian place does not have pesto, sandwich was excellent, fries were excellent. Alot of TVs, big bar, glad to see its hanging in.
