The delivery people are so rude. I live in an apartment building and they called from the front door to say they were here. I started telling them how to buzz in and where to go, and the delivery guy hung up on me. So I called him back and I gave him the instructions and he said "no, you come down here, buddy." When I got down the 11 flights of stairs, they had just left the order on the floor next to the security door. Ordered through a 3rd party app. Took almost 3 hours. Tried to get 3rd party to help but to no avail. Continually called the pizza shop until finally got an answer. Employee was rude and only offered a credit for a new pizza. Pursuing refund through 3rd party app. Just don't waste your time with these people... no pizza after almost 3 hours. read more

I've been buying pizza and other foods from Pizza Palermo, Turtle Creek, since they opened. Their delivery people are friendly and on-time. I've eaten at many pizza places in North Versailles, McKeesport, White Oak, etc. and I find Pizza Palermo to be the best. I've never been disappointed. In fact, after I write this I'm going to buy several pizza's, fried mushrooms and eggplant parmigian. I think I'll add some cheesecake to the mix. Its delicious. read more

This place is disappointing and low quality even by Turtle Creek standards. And we all know that's a low bar. Whether you are donning your Kevlar and picking up your order, or paying delivery fees that would make Wall Street bankers blush, be sure to double check your order. Every. Single. Time. Of course if they screw you for a delivery order it's too late. You just made a charitable donation to whatever shady operations are taking place in the rear. This place has forgotten at least one item on more than half of my orders from them. After again forgetting marinara sauce for their dry and over-baked breadsticks, again, I finally have to leave a review. They overcook everything; don't say I didn't warn you. After paying for a ham topping on the pizza I had to pick it all off because it was so burned it wasn't even chewable. It could have been diced roof shingles; I couldn't have told the difference. You need two beverages to make it through one slice. I recommend avoiding this place like the plague. I will never order from here again. read more

I took my friends to this location this evening for some fresh pizza. We experienced great service and great food. Fresh made dough, homemade ranch, the freshness is in the flavors. There is proof in their product and their service was kind even in peak hours of business. I will be returning to the Penn Plaza Location. read more

I'd give it zero if i could, this is my second time having awful service from them along side a incorrect order. The first time my order never arrived although i was assured multiple times that it was in fact on the way and I'd receive $10 off my NEXT order (who's to say i wanted to). But i let that and the lack of delivery go. Next, ordered from my mothers house, she specifically said NO OIL NO MAYO toast the bun everything else cold on her Italian hogie with cheese also cold. The hogie came dripping with oil with out the cheese and when we called back to correct the order the manager was very rude and argumentative and hung up on us. It literally could not be eaten. Ordered a large gyro wedgie with gyro sauce online from the Turtle Creek Pizza Palermo and recieved a chicken gyro with marinara sauce. Called them about the mistake and the person on the phone said that he would text me a picture of the order they recieved. I told him that the receipt I have stated that I ordered a gyro wedgie. He then stated that he cannot replace an online order. When I asked for a refund he became agitated and very rude. He then said that he would only replace my marinara sauce with gyro sauce. I'm pretty sure that they should be responsible their online ordering system error. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never order from this place again. read more

I ordered a steak and red pepper calzone. They delivered a steak, mushroom, green pepper, red onion and red pepper calzone. My wife called them to get it replaced and the person that she talked to yelled at her and told her steak automatically comes with all the other stuff and that she should know better next time. He said that it says so on the site which it did not. He refused to replace it or refund the money for it claiming it was our fault which it wasn't. read more

The food is barely passable as food. Customer service is nonexistent. And every time you order something they forget something. They just need to close up and let a real takeout or fast food place open. This is worse than Mel's diner the tv show from the 80's. Smh read more

I tried to place an order for a calzone breadsticks and a pop and was told it would cost $35 when I told him to take the breadsticks and pop off I was told it would cost $25 whenever I told him nevermind cancel the order he told me to hold on and told me he can give it to me for $20 so I told him to cancel the order again he told me he can give me the calzone for $19.50 then got mad at me whenever I told him to cancel the whole order altogether I will never order from this place again read more

Let me start by saying their food is great. However DO NOT order delivery from this location. I placed an order online at 12:16 PM. At 12:48, I received a call asking if I wanted ricotta in my calzone. Uh, yeah, that's why it's a calzone. I waited another 45 minutes or so and still no delivery. Their site said 45 minutes. I then called the store to cancel the order. They tried to tell me I placed the order at 12:48, I explained this was not the case and to credit my card and cancel the order. I was told the delivery was on the way and couldn't be canceled. I told them again to cancel it. No one showed up with food. I then received another call from them telling me the order was placed at 12:48 and was on the way. Again, I explained that I would refuse delivery and wanted my card refunded. They refused and told me I had to accept the calzone when it arrived. I said this was not going to happen and told them I had e-mail proof that my order was placed at 12:16, they again argued with me. I was called a third time and told that they were calling about my calzone and it was on the way. I said I would not accept it and wanted my card refunded. The gentleman said he would make me a fresh calzone and have it delivered. I refused. He said "I don't want to lose you as a customer, but the order was placed at 12:48". I said I had the e-mail confirmation of the order at 12:16. He then checked and apologized admitting I was correct. He and went on to explain calzones take longer (uh, I used to work in a pizza shop so I know this is untrue). I refused a new calzone and reiterated my request for a refund. A simple online delivery order should not be this big of a cluster. They have definitely lost a customer, not just from the screw up, but three phone calls trying to bully me into taking a calzone that was over an hour and a half plus for a store that is less than 2 miles from my office. read more
