Usually, my fam and I order from here with no problem and the food here is really good. I guess the common denominator with the bad reviews here and what I'm about to say is that the vendors they use are giving them too much business and they can't manage it all. Ok, yes it is a crazy time with orders having to be delivered and not dined in. But when there's no accountability and unsanitary conditions involved, it gets too much. I ordered through a vendor and didn't get my full order, despite being charged for it. I called them and at first, things seemed ok. I will get my order and it will be delivered by them directly. When the delivery guy came (nice guy by the way who unfortunately was stuck in the middle of this mess), he told me I owe money. I said no, no it's already paid for and these were missing items. He called his boss (Steve I believe his name was) and the boss said that in order to get my missing and corrected food, I will have to give them the mistaken food back. WHAT?? This policy was not even told to me on the phone. Usually if a restaurant wants to replace mistaken food, they DON'T ASK FOR THE OLD FOOD BACK just for sanitary reasons. I worked in food service for years and as a worker in various restaurants, the policy was to never take mistaken old food that a customer may have potentially touched. We simply replace the food. Maybe it's a Philly thing... I ended up just receiving the missing item and the corrected item was not replaced. The boss angrily said I would have to contact the vendor for a refund and barely listened to what I had to say. He was very unprofessional toward the end telling the deliveryman to "get out of there. We don't have time for this. We have more deliveries." A shame because we support small businesses, especially during this time but they treated us like we were pulling wool over their eyes where clearly they are in way over their heads with their order management. And their mistaken "food policy" they have concerned me because we're in the middle of a pandemic and how do I know that the food I will receive is freshly made and not recycled, "handed off" by another customer who didn't want it/had a mistake made who, by chance, could have the disease? so everytime I use my card I get charged more than what they say the price is and it's only with 2 specific people. the skinny guy with the hat and the young Asian lady. So I have to absolutely admit that I LOVE pizza paradise and their food!!! I use to Rant ALL positive things about them and tell ppl to order ALL the time. well now I refuse to. So last weekend was bad enough with a mishap that was "apologized" for but not by specific individuals. Ok, this will be short and to the point. Last night my husband picked up a small half cheese and pepperoni pizza and fries. Pizza taste like dough , the sauce was slap on and runny by far the worst most bland undercook pizza I ever have had. The fries were simply over cooked it was obvious they were threw back in oil as a method to reheat.
