I rec'd a promotion post card for Patron Pizza. Although I rarely eat pizza ( calories) I took advantage of the 2 for $10.00 promotion. I walked in waited a bit and gave my order. I wasn't asked for any preference except what topping I wanted. Got home and the pizza's had Alfredo sauce on it. No wonder it didn't smell like pizza on my way home. Didn't understand. Patron Pizza: Tastey crust, a little skimpy on the topping (maybe promotion) but Alfredo on pizza...not for most I don't believe. Other food businesses have failed in the past right where you are. White people are not welcome!! While waiting for them to remake an online order because it had a four inch naked spot in the center I was asked by the other customers why I didn't just take my pizza and leave. When I explained that it wasn't made right they asked what did I expect for cheap Mexican pizza. He said Because I was white I would only complain and I was not welcome in this establishment. He talked for several minutes about how white people were ruining the neighborhood and how I would have never asked for a refund if the cashier had been a white girl. I told him he was saying some pretty racist stuff, but he informed me that only white people can be racist. After I left with my order I contacted the manager(who is not on site, so don't even ask, apparently it's insulting) Miguel told me that they don't pay their staff enough to care and since I had previously complained when my order was wrong I should probably find somewhere else to eat. read more

I rarely write reviews about fast food, pizza, etc. as most of the chain restaurants are all the same usually both with service and quality of food. However, Pizza Patron exceeded expectations by far. Most consider Pizza Patron a value pizza establishment. While this may be the case (I paid $13.00 for a large pizza and cheese bread), the bang for your buck factor was definitely here. The cashier was very sweet and nice and the pizza was actually better than Pizza Hut or Dominos. The dough was crisp and the cheese just melts in your mouth. If you want to feed a large group or just don't want to spend $20 plus on a pizza, skip the little Cesar's line and go to Pizza Patron. read more

I ordered a pizza for pick up at 2:15 PM. It looks like they baked it at 2:00 PM, and the pizza waited 10 to 15 minutes for pickup. Whether or not it was in a warmer, is unknown to me. Normally, if a pizza is actually piping hot it radiates through the cardboard box, lightly burning your skin as you hold the box. However, I was surprised because when she handed me the box it was lukewarm. Uh oh, I thought, yet I reserved judgment until later. When I arrived home, and I open the box, I could see that the cheese had a matte, solid, dried out look --because it was so cold. It should have been ooey gooey, shiny, melted cheese. It was not. I wanted hot pizza, so I had to warm up the pizza for 10-15 minutes in the oven. Fresh pizza shouldn't require a warm up minutes after pickup. While their flavor combinations have potential to be great, there are far too many pizzerias nearby and in Houston to settle for cold pizza. On the bright side, their churros in both chocolate and Bavarian were delicious. It is a fantastic contrast between creamy interior and crunchy exterior. The cinnamon sugar on the outside sweetens up the pastry nicely -- while the filling adds a burst of flavor. Churros definitely worth going back for -- as independent of temperature they still tasted great. I would give the pizza 2 stars. I would give the churro 4 stars. I decided to try pizza Patrón purely because I was stuck in traffic and I'm glad I did. Their sauce was a different taste than the other big pizza places in the area which was really good. The crust was perfect to be reheated when I put the vegan cheese on it. The only drawback was the price. For the size it seemed a pricey but I really enjoyed the pizza so I would say totally worth trying. read more

I didn't think pizza could be any cheaper than Little Caesar's, but alas--they have been dethroned. I found the logo this place uses to be rockin'. My girlfriend got a coupon for the place on the back of her Kroger receipt, and my eyes lit up. I goofed and didn't research the menu before we ordered, but a different topping that they have is chorizo. Chorizo! I for one think that's amazing. Anyway, we got a veggie and a peperoni. With the coupon I don't think it was even nine dollars. Awesome! Recession friendly. The place is clean and colorful, and the staff doesn't seem stoned. Weird for a pizza place. The pizza is greasy and bad for you the way a good fast pizza place should be. Don't expect gourmet either. I will be back! read more

I came here a couple of weeks ago because I was starving and it was the closest things to my job. So I called in 1 hour ahead I order bread sticks and hot wings and the lady answered and hanged up the phone. I called like 5 times made my order when I get there I had to wait 30 minutes more! That was my entire lunch time I was furious. I just got my food payed and went back to work.probably will call 2 hours head next time. read more

It won't be mistaken for a gourmet pie, but this super low cost pizza holds it's own with the pizza huts and dominos of the world. Overpriced and low quality work from the big chains created the void and pizza patron stepped up to fill it. This is a takeout place, not sure about delivery but it's not dine in. If your trying to feed several people on a budget, this is your place. Pizza is not what you would expect for the price, it's actually pretty good. It's not the best in town by any stretch, but it will pleasantly surprise you. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and also 12 buffalo wings. My total was $12.97!
