Usually this place is amazing however, my experience today was very upsetting. Burned food and they let me leave with it--. I drove half an hour home to find burnt grilled cheese both sides and burnt hot dogs- both sides and that extra meat sauce that I paid for...not there. Reviewed 3 months ago, and I don't know what is happening. I get it, it's a college town, I guess you can do whatever and you'll still have people eat downgraded quality food. Two of my friends got UHots and so I thought of getting some. One friend was missing a side of fries. The other didn't have a bun for a damn cheeseburger! For me, I got grilled cheese with a double order of mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was good, but god the grilled cheese has been burnt consistently the past week or so. Do the people not know how to make a grilled cheese without making the bread completely black and charcoal tasting? I had the cheesy melt the other night, and let me tell you: IT BLOODY CHANGED MY LIFE! The cheesy melt is a grilled cheese with succulent mozzarella sticks in between, served with marinara sauce. This sandwich completely redefines a grilled cheese. The portion size isn't too big but it's really heavy! If you love cheese, this sandwich is for you!! They have various equally items on their menu. They're pizza melt is similar in concept except there are little pizza logs with pepperoni in between the grilled cheese. If you're going to change your summer hours, at least list on your website. Stopped by at 10pm for late night eats after a long day, and the place was dark. Clearly, keeping their customers in the loop isn't a priority, as their website, Yelp, Google and Facebook all list their hours as being open until 1am on Tuesdays. Egad this place was horrid. Beyond rude employee, overcooked greasy food, and just an unappetizing look to everything about this place. Also, the "College plate" is nothing more than a Garbage Plate ripoff, which by the way was gross here. I would never go here again. I ordered from uhots at 2, it is currently 4:30 and it seems that they have no intention of delivering my food. I've been trying to call the establishment almost 100 times (not an exaggeration, I called 87 times) and every time I call I either hear a busy signal, or a worker pick up the phone and hang up on me. What can I say? Geneseo New York is a college town and college kids like good food and 'meat and potatoes' places like University HOTS to get them through their studies! This strip store restaurant COULD use a restroom if they had the room, but I believe an arrangement is allowed for customers to use the one next door at Pizza Pauls. The TVs are always apparent blasting away with shows like The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Artwork framed wall posters bespeak of the jokes surrounding studying and drinking and more drinking which is typical in a college town. Enough about the fine ambiance. The food here is basic and fresh comfort food and is on par, or better than any college town or university slop joint I have eaten at. I have had the wraps, the plates, the chili dogs with fries, the burgers and the salads. Despite the rowdy college crowds at 2:23 AM, I have never never had a bad meal here ! They deliver all over town, are flexible in payment, and when your food is presented to you it is always fresh tasty and hot. Keep up the good work University HOTS! Best garbage plates in town. Atmosphere could use some work but the food rivals that of Rochester.

Not bad, not amazing. They used to be so much better a few years ago, I don't know what happened. Something to get on a late night, even though they are usually the only option. In a rush I have had really good food and downright inedible food. They also don't like to deliver "far" if they are busy or have only one driver on. Which has happened the last 4 times I called. U hots is the stereotypical hole in the wall place to get cheap greasy food that is completely horrible for you, but oh so delicious. I'm not sure if I've ever been inside it during the day or while completely sober. The staff are usually fast so it only takes a few minutes to get your food even though the place is filled with drunk college student. Also, the framed posters on the walls are hilarious and I really want to buy one. read more

We waited no less than 2.5 hours for lack of mediocre trash plates. You would think after waiting 2 hours we would jag SOMETHING to show for our time?!But nope after two phone calls asking the status of our order repeatedly being told "it should be on the way" and waiting SO LONG. I will never order from this shitty low class drunk food restaurant. If you are going to serve late at night on the weekends please be prepared to service a surge in customers.
