OK, now who is going to sit down and go, "Gee, what if I sliced potatoes and put them on a pizza"? Apparently, the geniuses at Pizza Payaa. Their latest special, the Loaded Potato Payaa, is brilliant. Of course, the incredible Detroit-style pizza with that crunchy cheesy edge, three cheeses, garlic, thinly sliced delicious Yukon gold potatoes, topped with grana Padano cheese, finished with chives, sour cream, and loads of bacon. Ridiculous.

From my third of four visits: beloved by all!

Pizza Payaa is fantastic--I've tried it four times with four different groups of people, and it never fails to please everyone! They use top-of-the-line ingredients that most other pizza joints in Bloomington-Normal don't, and the pizzas are well-made. From the classic flavors to their inventive specials, everything has been delicious! You have to try this place.

Listen, I'm originally from Chicago and this pizza blows away any pizza place from there. Lou Malnati's? Better. Pequod's? Better. Giordano's? Better. Gino's East? Better. I literally stake my Chicago claim on it. Try this pizza now! Especially the collabs. I haven't had one bad pie yet!

Amazing local small business! Their pizza is so good and so fresh. I was lucky enough to win their free pizza giveaway with pop up chicken for the BBBB pizza and it was one of the best specialty pizzas i have ever had. It even reheated well the next day. I also loved their brussel sprouts with hot honey, so good!!

    Ready for my pizza!

Excellent pizza every time. Best specialty pizza ever (and I travel fairly often to 'foodie' cities). Voted Best Pizza in BloNo. Have always done take out - located in a VR/video poker place. Best to order ahead and plan ahead. May be an hour or more for pick up. At first glance, it appears pricey. But, thicker, absolutely amazing crust heavy on the toppings. Well worth the price and the wait.

So worth it. The crust is just amazing and the toppings are top notch. Highly recommended! Easy to order, walk in sit down at a numbered table and order through QR code website. Can also order at the counter. Located in VR gaming complex. Very exciting place to hang out watch kids play.

This pizza ROCKS! And no pizza is complete for me anymore without Mike's Hot Honey. Online ordering so easy too! Nice change from the regular routine.

I consider myself to be a pizza snob, and this is the best pizza in Bloomington/Normal and I've tried them all. Adam and his team are incredibly helpful and accommodating to any order I make. His passion for making a great product and customer service is unlike anything I've had in town. He's consistent at offering new pizzas and collabs with other business and makes me excited to order every week. You NEED to try his pizza and see what the hype is all about. He's located inside Mass VR so now I can play gaming at eat at the same time!

We decided to go with the rustic pizzas that were delicious and unusual: harmony, Korean, chicken and loaded supreme. The crust tasted like it was from a woodfired oven and the Korean chicken pizza was so unusual and tasty with kimchi and pickled shiitake. The fresh from the forest mushroom side dish they gave us a special treat to us was quite a delicacy. Even the farm to table items they have for sale when you walk in to take home are a treat, Especially the homemade marshmallows! Ended with dessert of a fresh orange olive oil cake with just tremendous flavor and blood orange on the side and orange marmalade on the cake. It served exquisitely with a side of homemade ice cream that was to die for. We can't wait to come back! Our waitress, Lupe, treated us like family and was incredibly personal and warm. Put this on your must visit List.

We started with the sashimi plate. The fish was fresh- including tuna, salmon, shrimp- placed over small celery bites. A variety of sauces were dotted around the plate's edge. The dish would have benefited from some ginger and more sauce. Our entrees included Pork Coppa Ramen- which was a solid dish- strong beef broth flavor and the sambal (chili sauce) -a few cents extra- added a good depth of flavor. The fish bowl- tuna, salmon- with rice, pickled veggies, and gim (Korean seaweed) was tasty. It was even tasty the next day cold out of the fridge. Our server Jack did a nice job- we sampled their roasted carrots- and they were actually our favorite bite. We also had the potato graten and they were tasty- but could have been easily skipped with our Asian dinner vibe. The restaurant has a great eclectic historical vibe and was busy on a Friday night, but still felt spacious. The drink menu is a good selection- we enjoyed wine with dinner (a solid Pinot noir). I would definitely go back to have the pizza- which looked delicious at a couple of the neighboring tables. This is a great date night venue or girls night out.

As a celiac, my options were limited to the Grilled Chicken Salad and the Chicken Wings. I went with the healthier option and enjoyed my salad! Service was friendly and informative and everything you expect from small-ish town in the Midwest! I also am not able to enjoy beer any longer, so I was grateful that they offered some cider options. Delish! Would I go back? This place would be a dream if I did not have a restricted diet. So yes, if this is where my group wanted to go, I would... and I would try the wings and get another salad.
