Im down here visiting on vacation when my husband decides he needs to go to the ER. After getting a few things from our condo, I wanted some non-fast food. After 11 pm you don't have many options. I decided to try this place. I entered the ER with 2 hot slices. They were not the typical pepperoni or sausage. I'm a fan of pan pizza and nobody really does a good one anymore. You can find some good nana style crusts but they're not quite the same. Forget about deep dish, no one even attempts it down here. I gave their "signature thin pan crust" a try and they pretty much nailed it. It's basically focaccia, light, crispy, good flavor. Someone else commented that it isn't at all greasy and it isn't, however I thought mine would benefit from a little more oil in the pan. I tried the works and it was full of fresh quality toppings all the way to the edge of the pie, which it better be since with tax and tip the sucker cost over 30 bucks. Well, we had pizzas catered in for work this week, and I have to say, it was really delicious. I haven't been inside, but I wanted to comment on their "signature thin pan crust". It was very tasty. I had a couple slices of the garden veggie (It was Good Friday), and I really enjoyed the taste. The crust was crisp like a pan pizza, but, as the name implies, it was thinner...difficult to describe, definitely olive oil crunchy, fried in the pan kinda thing going on. New spot and it didn't disappoint! Creative specialty pizzas were great. Pizza had a unique crust and were NOT greasy. The Sharachi pizza had great flavor but a touchy spicy so be prepared. Other slices we had were full of veggies and just the right amount and size (not whole pieces of the veggie). Again great flavor. Parm fries were also tasty, be prepared for actual roasted garlic in them. Yum! Minus one star for one thing, Coke. Best sub shop around! Their chicken parm is cooked to perfection with the right amount of cheese & sauce added. Don't forget the side order of fries with the honey mustard dipping sauce! Taco Bell quality food at real restaurant prices. I like taco bell but the quick service and price are reflected in the quality of the food. Pizza Piez has no customer service and the food would be suitable for the Taco bell menu, I believe the pizza I ordered was not fresh, I think it was a template to be used for slices and was a reheated cheese pizza with my preferred topping added and cooked for about ten minutes. The pasta ordered was also precooked and not above low-quality sauce. I will not return or recommend this place, I was disappointed with everything. The table we chose was not clean either, I understand times can be busy but we were for most of our lunch the only patrons, and I would think with Covid trailing off, cleanliness would still be a priority. read more

Great little pizza place. New York style quality. I personally enjoyed the vegetarian Pie (weird huh?) But I was pleasantly surprised. They call it vegetarian because it has no meats, but still has cheese. I eat everything so it was delicious for me. We took a large group of 15 and were well taken care of.
