This would make anyone eat salad

Another delicious date nite finds us at Pizza Pizzazz in Pepperell. Caprese salad is not on the menu....but they ran next door to Donelans, grabbed a few ingredients and voila!!! I had this beautiful, fresh, taste bud dance going on. Way above and beyond to satisfy the consumer. EAT HERE OR GO HOME... Thank you PP staff for yet another great meal with table service. And clean restrooms.

The caprese salad with my additions of ham and hard boiled eggs. It was so yummy and pretty!

Always had the greek style and thought it was good, but then called one day and they only had Italian, so we tried that.

(Apr 2026) For dinner, we had a baby-spinach salad with crushed walnuts, moist dried cranberries, crumbled gorgonzola, and sweet zingy raspberry vinaigrette. And rich tender spinach, basil, and tomato tortellini, in a creamy garlic sauce. Their Mussels Fra-Diavlo were fresh tender and juicy, sauteed in garlic olive oil, with crushed red peppers and rich Pomodoro sauce. We loved their brightly-flavored chicken piccata, pan-sautéed in light fresh-tasting olive oil, with white-wine lemon-butter sauce, tasty little capers, and melt-in-your-mouth artichoke hearts. Served over creamy risotto. So good! Our server, Maybelline is the nicest best ever, with a great sense of humor. We were happy to see Dario's busy in the early evening on a Friday (Apr 2026). Their dishes are so good, each perfectly prepared and delicious. They rival any we've had in that big Olde Towne on the harbor :-). We hope that Dario's Ristorante is part of a resurgence of good food spots in this part of town.

One star, for our waiter, and our waiter ONLY. Entirely forgettable experience here... we walked in…read morefrom the frigid evening hoping to be warmed by the restaurant but it was freezing inside and drafty. The dining room we were sat in was incredibly bright compared to the main dining room. Not a good atmosphere for when you want a relaxing dining experience + a filling meal when you're famished. I genuinely cannot describe how awkward the dining room felt. Appetizer: my friend and I each ordered caesar salad. I asked if there was a small portion because I didn't want a whole. My waiter was Italian, so I believe he didn't catch my question so my complaint isn't on him regarding the salad... but the salad was SMALL for $12. A handful and a half of romaine, the most acidic caesar dressing ever--so much that it was stinging my lips. A few croutons. And 2 anchovy filets--the best part of the salad overall, haha. I would have been okay paying $6 but not $12. Horrible start. We shared the calamari. It was flavorless with not even a touch of salt. Served with cold marinara sauce, no lemon. $16 calamari... I'd pay $8-$10 for that because I know PLENTY restaurants who have decent and thoughtfully prepared cal for the same price. We order entrees. One of my girlfriends ordered the tortellini carbonara. $26 entree. Served literally COLD, not even room temp. the sauce was minimal, it looked like a naked dish of multi-colored raviolis I used to eat growing up as a child... so yeah it looked like grocery store food with nothing added to it. She sent it back, but denied the option of ordering another meal... we had learned our lesson by now. My entree was one of the special chicken dishes. I think the most "popular" one, it was an herbed chicken or something with risotto I believe. Such an unforgettable and distasteful meal that I genuinely forget what it was. Entire dining experience was a waste of time, money, and calories lol. Our waiter was kind to give us complimentary cannolis to try and save the day :)

We've visited twice now, and both times, her warmth and commitment to making sure we're taken care of have just been outstanding. We've eaten so well based on her recommendations, too--from chicken and seafood and pasta all the way to dessert. The portions are generous for the price, and everything tastes like it's made with love by the Italian relatives I wish I had. We've had the pleasure of sitting by the fire in the winter, and hope to visit next when we can sit outside in the summer. Thanks to Trisha and everyone at Lucia's, we're already looking forward to our next visit!

I'm actually getting salivating while posting this review and looking back at my food pictures. I get the Eggplant & Ricotta Pizza as my appetizer and the Rigatoni Amatriciana as my entree each time I go - because they're consistently amazing. The service is always warm and friendly, and I also love the music playlist they play. Believe the hype & come to Tonino!!

However, I don't know that it lived up to the hype that I anticipated. We got the pizza Bianca with ricotta with hot honey, which was basically just like plain toasted focaccia and ricotta (wasn't anything to write home about). The taleggio was 100% our least favorite and we didn't even finish half. We had asked the waiter to describe taste profile, which they said was a "little funky" and had asked for clarification if it was closer to blue cheese. Once it arrived, it was like a verrrrrry strong/stinky Brie on the inside. The balsamic didn't really contribute to the taste at all. Sad that we didn't like this/kinda made me feel yucky after eating. The cavatelli was very good- nice light creamy sauce with the sausage and bitter broccolini. Very well balanced. Forgot to take a pic of the tiramisu but it was good, too! It's kinda salty (they add sea salt to the top). Drink menu was limited. Had two different glasses of red wine but wish they had something more full bodied on the menu!
