Stopped here in what ended up being our final night in town. Man RIP. Having no idea what a pizza ranch was we decided to give it a try and mosey on in. Quickly we realized on a Sunday night that it was a pizza all you can eat- like a Midwest version of the chain CiCis. The main stay bars were comprised of pizza and cheese sticks, with another small bar that had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and some homestyle type options. In addition there was a salad bar, and a dessert bar with a small ice cream soft serve machine. I opted to get a salad, which was kind of messy and had the dressings in squirt bottles (good idea). Also on the salad bar was pudding. Odd. Then i went to work and got 2 cheese sticks, a slice of cheese, 2 slices of pepperoni, 1 slice of buffalo chicken pizza, and then to finish things off- s life of each dessert pie. Yeah we get it ... I was hungry. To me it was good, but not worth a 4 star. It just... was average. Still a decent enough option of you're in town and looking for a good fill up.

Visited around 3pm, restaurant was uncrowded, buffet was fully stocked and delicious. Five or six dessert pizzas. They kept restocking with fresh pizzas even though we were between lunch and dinner services. Clean with welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

    Couldn't quite finish it all

The green beans and mushroom sauce is to die for and the cactus bread is better that crack.

What is a Pizzaaco, and yes I think I'm spelling it wrong, it is nothing more or less than a pizza taco with a special sauce and it is to die for. Also tried The Log and it was just as delicious. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful, the owner is super nice, and the staff are all around friendly. Do yourself a favor, get yourself a pizzaaco and curse my name forever after if you don't live in hutch and can't get them whenever you want.

The entire event of dining here felt oppressive, as if the atmosphere created by the owners was geared toward a certain type of people that gravitate towards things that don't bring happy thoughts to most folks' minds. It has an overwhelming kinship to another pizza place I reviewed in Washington DC called Comet Pizza. Same atmosphere, same odd staff, same crummy food. I don't imagine it's a stretch to assume the same after hours activities abound here that also took place at Comet. That's more than likely the reason for the poor, disturbing atmosphere that haunts the establishment. Of course finding out that the leader of the infatuation of children alliance in Hutchinson,KS, Mr. John Eberly, is a frequent visitor here. The food is almost as bad as Mr. Eberly's music and artwork, but not quite. If you visit, for God's sake, please DO NOT bring your children. I cannot stress this enough. Keep them far, far away from here.
