Everything about this restaurant is amazing. We have been going here weekly for 4 years and is consistently perfect!

We had a great late lunch here on a Friday. It was pretty busy, but the buffet items stayed well stocked and the fresh. We ordered a couple of pizzas that we wanted and they were delivered for us to take what we wanted then put on the buffet for others. It's really nice that you can "buffet your way" like that. The fried chicken and sides for that were fresh and well stocked. The dessert bar was also full of great dessert pizza, delicious chocolate chip cookie slices and vanilla ice cream. It does seem like the ice cream was more icy than usual. Perhaps they changed the mix or it was just an off day...it's usually creamy and not icy at all. Service was very friendly and the place was clean. Love the Pepsi products too. read more

We avoided going here for years because of reviews and people saying that the pizza was trash, but the chicken was good. Well, we went today and we thought the food was good. When i think buffet pizza, i think of Cici's and Pizza Street. The food at pizza ranch was leaps and bounds above other buffets. Usually when you have buffet pizza it all tastes pretty much the same. Not here. We tried several slices and they all tasted good and had their unique flavor. They didn't all taste like a base pizza with different toppings. And the cheese was exceptional on the pies. The staff were great and so kind and helpful. It was neat and clean inside as well. We will go back. read more

You do NOT go to Pizza Ranch for the pizza. You go for the chicken. Now their pizza is okay, but the rel star is the fried chicken. Nice large pieces and breasts so moist and juicy, you wil need a napkin. The green beans could use some seasoning, but the dressing and gravy always hits. read more

Horrible experience. There was barely any food outside and all the deserts were half gone and looked old. The food tasted okay, I'll give them that. Service was not the best. I had asked a worker if this certain pizza had pork in it and she responded with "Maybe?". The overall physical restaurant bothered me because of how much dust I could see flying in the air over my food. I had also walked in the bathroom and found there is no soap in the dispenser, rather it was hand sanitizer. A restroom with no soap and only hand sanitizer, how disgusting. Buffet style, all you can eat. The fried Chicken is probably the best overall. Pizza was average, but dessert pizza better. Big salad bar, and other home style hot items. Priced about average for all you can eat. Good ice cream and a nice game room for the kids. read more

I don't understand how this place is still in business. The workers were friendly. The food though is terrible. Tastes like frozen pizza, instant mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing, canned vegetables. This place is so overly hyped it's repulsive...So many people raved about that place that I took my family of six there for dinner today and to all of our surprise this place is a knockoff pizza street. There was literally only about six pizzas to choose from and an odd selection of a poor excuse for Sunday dinner including fried chicken, mash potatoes with gravy, stuffing and green beans...the chicken was surprisingly good but everything else was extremely bland and what I imagine dinner would taste at non -melanated people's house. Friendly atmosphere and great food! Buffet offers salads, pasta, pizza (of course) and the greatest fried chicken around! I discover enough unique pizza combinations to keep me coming back again and again while my grandson swears by the breadstick varieties and dessert pizzas. All that plus an arcade! read more

there was constantly no pizza , we proceeded to request pepperoni to be made & they kept telling us it would be out but 45 minutes & still nothing. We eventually left. We paid $18 each for 4 people only to have to leave & buy food elsewhere. The dining room was very dirty and the tables sticky. The food was very disappointing and no one came to clean up the plates at the table. Not only that when we asked for the price the lady at the counter wouldn't tell us until after she had already put the total in the thing to pay. The price is listed no where in the restaurant & it's very guilt trippy. We paid so much money just to not enjoy any of it. Raw chicken & cold pizza is not a good look update: I talked to a guy named Diego he was incredibly nice & gave us a refund. He said it was the busiest day they have had in a while & it wasn't a reflection of what their normal service is! I will be giving it a second chance. read more

This place does not disappoint. I have long had a special place in my heart for this eatery. The friend chicken is one of the better ones in the whole city, which is a surprise since it's a pizza restaurant. The food on the buffet is good. They have several types of pizza and they keep refreshing them. The best item is the fried chicken. It is delicious. There aren't any serving staff since it is a buffet. The others working there are all very helpful and keep the tables clean. There is plenty of seating. There are tables, booths and high top tables. We don't use the arcade but it would be great for the kids. read more

Have eaten here several times. Have noticed they no longer has fresh fruit, hot rolls, toppings for ice cream or cobbler. They used to have these items at one time. Rising expenses seem to be hitting Pizza Ranch like other restaurants. Sad. read more

Pizza was good, stuffed crust was my fav as well as the cherry dessert pizza. Not much selection however you can order what type of pizza you want even with the buffet. They have little cups of ice cream too and free refills. Next time I'll order a whole cheese Alfredo pizza and a whole cherry dessert one! The pickles on the salad bar are those good good pickles! You know what kind I'm talking about!!! The salad bar had a lot of toppings. Only thing I didn't like was there hot buffet of stuffing fried chicken gravy green beans and mashed potatoes...that was just kinda weird to have at a pizza place. Staff was friendly too! Publicly humiliated by two workers at this branch has prompted me to call corporate and file an official complaint. I never eat there myself due to health concerns, but I take my teenage son on occasion as a reward for him. They falsely accused me of trying to get a free meal, and only paying for one buffet. They said they had observed me eating, and had video footage, but when I asked, they refused to tell me who or to pull the footage up. They said could call the police I asked them to so I could talk to them as well because I was being falsely accused. The worker told me "They were not going to play games with me." ?? No police were ever called. At this point everyone was watching, I was embarrassed, shaken, and in unfortunately tears. I don't ever get mad, I get sad-just a personality trait I've always had. After asking to talk to the cashier that rang us up, she admitted that she saw me "whisper something to your son when you paid." and assumed I was trying to get a free buffet. She apologized and refunded our buffet and asked us to stay. We decided to leave instead because I just was so incredibly embarrassed. Why did my son have to witness that? I have lived and taught in area for 21 years, but regardless, NO ONE deserves to be falsely and publicly accused and humiliated like this. read more

This location is north of KC, off the 29 freeway next to Lowe's. There is plenty of adequate parking spaces at this location. Speed of paying was good but then the experience goes downhill. The bathrooms are extremely filthy and the salad bar is very poorly set up, with wilted lettuce and a lack of variety usually found at most Pizza Ranch locations. The variety of Pizza was poorly presented, those still left for selection looked as it has been there for 20 minutes or longer. Thought there was a company policy of removing old Pizza with 15 minutes. The good news is the fried chicken is good here and the mashed potatoes and green beans are decent. There is no ice cream machine, don't know if COVID policies dictated this at this location. No one was active bussing tables during my stay. Most likely, I would not make a return visit in the future to this location. read more

The manager Annie is very rude, and very quick I may add, to take your money for a cold buffet. Not to mention stale old pizzas for your choices. No desert pizza put out for over thirty minutes, no ice cream machine, burnt cold chicken tough soggy old pizza. I asked for a refund she said I already ate. I told her no, look at my table. She insisted on a ten dollar coupon for next time. There won't be a next time. This manager should be demoted, she couldn't have been more rude. They really think it should be 40 bucks for 2 adult buffet meals. I walk in and should have ate for free because it took 6 minutes before anyone was even at the front. Stopped here for pizza. The fried chicken smelled so good I had that w corn and mash potatoes. It was very good. I was so full I didn't have any pizza. I did have a little of the chocolate chip cookie and some of the some pizza for dessert. Good was good and so was the service too. I would recommend the chicken and dessert too. read more

They have a great salad bar, pizza bar, country food bar and dessert bar. The staff are frenzy and told us several times that they would bring out any pizza by request directly to the table. I went here on a date, and neither of us were pleased. We won't be returning to this establishment simply because the value per dollar was not there (although Pizza Ranch was voted #1 in the Northland for family dinners -- I believe that's what the sign said at the dessert station). For $25, we could have gotten more pizza for less at Pizza Street. With "pizza" being titular to the establishment, we expected to see a long buffet row of varied creations. Nope. The station for pizza was the same size as the one for the sides, the salad, and the dessert. It perplexed me that the cups for the soft serve ice cream were at the salad station. The pizza station itself lacked consistent labeling during our visit. We guessed on some slices. We also noticed that a variety of pizza would share a tray. (Because I don't know, does that affect dietary restrictions?) The overall pizza quality was average along with the wings of which my boyfriend heard from his college friends that the wings were better than the pizza. We kept to ourselves and thus did not engage much with customer service. We watched as a server power walked around the diner looking for who ordered the pizza in her hand. At my table, my boyfriend chimed that "We didn't order it, but we will gladly take it off your hands for you." The server laughed and continued searching for who placed the order. To recap, Pizza Ranch is not worth the buffet price we paid. read more
