We were craving some pizza and decided to check this place out. It had a cool sport's bar type vibe. You order your pizza by the slice and they are not small at all. If you like a super thin doughy type crust this place is for you. The service was great but we weren't really impressed with the pizza. The garlic knots on the other hand are where the flavor is. IF I went back it would only be for the knots.

Everyone was welcoming and food was delicious. The highlight was the Parmesan garlic wings and the buffalo wings , especially the parmesan garlic. The pesto garlic knots are also to die for! They ran out of a-lot of items we wanted but that's because they had an art festive in the day but they accommodated us the beat they could.

I was disappointed to find out that they stop serving biscuits at 3pm and it's only Fat Sullys. It took a while for them to take our order, we were acknowledged immediately, but the guy was busy at the time. No problem at all. I ordered anyway. I got mushrooms, black olives, Italian sausage, and tender belly. My sister ordered onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach. Both slices looked very dry. To our surprise the pizza had a good taste. It was $17 for our two slices. I'm glad I got it but I wouldn't be in a rush to order again. There was a takeout window that we ordered out with some outside seating. It was a pretty chill ambiance. But I am looking forward to getting biscuits in the morning.

Walked past here the other day, and just had to stop by. Loved the dining area with the massive open windows, it made for a relaxing, casual spot to be on such a sunny day. Ordered a couple beers, plus a slice of pizza, a side Caesar salad, and some wings. The pizza slice was GIANT, and the wing portion was more than filling, ended up with some leftover. Really enjoyed the NYC style pizza, not too thick, and a good balance of cheese and sauce! Our server was friendly, prompt, and even offered some Denver-made hot sauces to go with the slice - so good! Will definitely be back another sunny day.

Best Pizza in Missouri!! Hands down the best. We were visiting Kansas City for five days and we ate at this restaurant 3 1/2 of the five days. It was that delicious incredible. The customer service was excellent and the ambience with all the glass windows and rollup garage doors made you feel like you're sitting outside. The pizzas were all incredible. Love that you got to pick your own toppings. BEST Pizza, Missouri

We were in KC visiting friends and family. We meet up with Jason and Emily for a brunch. What a great choice to have brunch. When we got there J and E were wait outside for us. We waited for about 20-30 minutes before we sat down. The weather was super nice at that time. We aren't used to cold weather, but it was nice that time of day. The parking is mostly street parking. They have a really small parking area, but there is plenty of room inside. Restaurant is super nice inside, a full bar and plenty of beer on tap and liquor. It was also brunch time, so they had mimosas.i got me a Pabst Blue Ribbon, just cause I've never had one on tap. It was great. Maria asked for coffee, they said it was self serve, so Maria said she's on vacation and didn't get coffee, my wife is silly. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and made our time there great. Once we got to our table, I noticed that my seat and the floor was dirty. This is the only knock on this place. I just wiped down the seat and sat down. I had the Nashville hot chicken biscuit, wow. It was juicy and not too spicy. I was one the fence on what to try so I just went with this one. Maria had the Lola, which was chicken in a biscuit with bacon and covered in maple syrup. This is more my speed, but I was worried about the syrup and chicken combo. I don't know why, I like sweet and salty. Maria made a great choice. J had a smash burger. He said it was great. E had biscuits and gravy, bacon and hash browns. It all looked great. I normally eat off every one plate, but this was our first meeting and I didn't want to come of as a pig. lol Made it to the bathrooms, and they were clean. I look forward to going back here as soon as possible.

Great pizza! Got a slice of pizza for the first time here today. It was so good!! It is huge like bigger than your face. you get to pick your sauce and toppings. such a great size. service was really nice and fast. there's a drive thru window thing that you order from outside. it takes about 10 minutes. will be back!

So I need to start buy saying that all pizza is good, just different levels of good. I would 1000% get the garlic knots and go back for the garlic knots. The cheese, red sauce, pesto and garlic with bread is done perfectly. The pizza slice is a fine. The toppings are high quality but the dough didn't get crispy and lacked flavor for me. This is in the ranking that all pizza is good, I would eat it again.

Be prepared -- the pizzas are HUGE! Don't send your tiny roommate to pick up 2 pizzas by herself! The 2 ft diameter pizzas will feed you for days, and they are pretty tasty! We like to order feta and artichoke hearts on ours. I like that the pizzas are "well done" because you get some nice char on the underside of the thin crust! You can also order by the slice for certain toppings that are available! I definitely recommend getting the loaded garlic knots! The basil pesto that is drizzled on top is delicious! We also really enjoyed the loaded fries because of the delicious vegetarian gravy and the cheese sauce, but the fries got a little soggy. Love the seasoning on the fries though! Salty and sweet. The cinnamon dessert balls were pretty good as well! Not super exciting. For some reason, ordering online and picking up is always a little confusing. At least with Fat Sully's, the food usually shows up at the pick up window located on the patio (unlike Denver Biscuit Co where I never know where the food is going to be picked up from)! But the last time we ordered online, the restaurant claimed they hadn't received the order despite me getting a confirmation email and my card getting charged! Eventually we got it all straightened out and received everything we ordered, but it never seems to be a seamless process when we order from here online.

This New York style pizza joint is slowly but surely replacing my go-to in the city, I won't dare mention the name or a local legend (maybe by the name of Stretch or maybe not...) probably will disown me from being a true Kansas Citian. Maybe, its just the fact that the beers on tap at Sully's impress me a lot over the fact that the chipotle ranch there is just the bomb.com but, call me crazy I think I prefer to be Fat over than to be Grinded. The beers are always rotating and the bar at Fat Sully's never seems to be too full, even during a Chiefs game, which in Westport is an anomaly. My favorite beer has to be the Bootstrap Lushpuppy IPA, if you aren't adverse to IPAs that have fruity notes to them then you will definitely enjoy this beer. Now enough with the yapping about beers and name dropping other New York style pizzerias smack dab in the middle of the Midwest, let us get into the meaty stuff, quite literally and figuratively. The food at Fat Sully's isn't anything too adventurous however, what they do they do well. The "big ass slice" never disappoints especially when it is loaded down with so many quality toppings that it becomes hard to fold in half and eat like a so-called true New Yorker, though I've never met one myself... At Fat Sully's though each topping does cost a whopping 70 cents, which I do find a tad too close to $1 but, they are not shy when it comes to piling on the peppers (or pepperonis) and also having fun toppings like feta and jalapenos, not to mention my personal favorite the adorable mini meatballs, makes making a slice interesting. I have two three topping slice recommendations for the newbie, first would be feta, green pepper and those cute little mini meatballs and the next would be jalapenos, feta and mushrooms (sounds weird but believe me it's delicious.) and don't forget the mandatory sides of spicy ranch that is indeed housemade, not made anywhere near the valley that's hidden. Hold on though! If a huge slice of 'za doesn't tickle your fancy not to fear...Fat Sully's is also a biscuit bar by day and offers other bar bite staples on the menu such as a kick ass burger and a flavor packed pile of waffle fries covered in scrumptious disco gravy. And, the best part of it is these two dishes are part of their awesome extensive happy hour menu where drafts are $5 and cocktails are $6 and that mouth watering double meat mountain is only $6 as well, but if you are ever craving that burger and it isn't happy hours don't fret because it rings in under $10 anyways. Making that double diner patty style burger sure to coat your fingers with buttery goodness one of my top contenders for best bargain burger in the city.

Attempting to try another pizza place while I'm visiting Kansas on a quick work trip. I ordered delivery so I can't tell you if the atmosphere is worthy but I can tell you about the pizza. It's meh. Not horrible but nothing I'd order again. The sauce has a bit of a sour taste. The crust is traditional but the combo was mediocre. The salad was good.

If you're looking for a pizza place around Westport to eat at, Fat Sully's Pizza is a great choice! Inside of the place is cool. The "Big ass pizza" and burgers were hands down appetizing! Service and ambiance was awesome! Will return if I crave for a good pizza!

Such a fun location for good food and hangouts! I came by with a friend after work, just minutes before they were starting trivia. I had absolutely no idea that they hosted trivia nights, but I'll definitely have to come back for it some time! I got a slice of pizza with pineapples (I said what I said) and jalapeños, and wow! I did not realize it was this huge! The pizza was absolutely full of flavor, and the best part was that it still had a bit of dough despite being New York style. I'm usually not the biggest fan of it because it's too thin, but Fat Sully's pizza was perfect. I also got the loaded garlic knots and tried them with both sauces - they were delicious both ways and I took them to go as well. I had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!

Upon doing some research I learned it's a scratch kitchen specializing in clean eats, and that it's a chain. So, I packed myself up and headed down the road to Prairie Village. It's still fairly new, and it has that squeaky clean feeling to it when you arrive. Inside it's counter service and you seat yourself (they will bring the food to you). It kind of reminded me of how Noodles and Company felt when they first became a thing way back in the early 2000s.
