This afternoon my Husband and I decided to order something for dinner from Pizza Shack. We arrived for curbside pickup but I decided to go inside since the last time I went, I waited then went inside. This time I told my Husband I would just go inside. I could see people walking in front of the window we were parked in front of. I walked in and told the cashier my name. She was getting my pizza and another customer walked in and said she had been waiting for 15 minutes for someone to come out. The cashier just said " oh it is shift change" and the customer responded that someone could at least have come out and told her. We both asked for the Mgr and I guess they must go thru shift change as well but I didn't hang around to see if he or she showed up. We go there quite a bit and service when you dine in is great but the owners need to work on their curbside service because it is not good. read more

we always love this place, but will NEVER return again! went to meet a group of friends for a Birthday. we had the time wrong, so we arrived too early. even tho we could see that our table was ready, we were told by one of the 16 year olds, From the Hitler in Training Charm School, that we could not be seated until our entire party was there. as our group of ten began to arrive, we gathered near the table, only to be told that we had to wait in the wait area...4 chairs...two already taken. When we finally got to our table, our HIT (Hitler in training) announced to the entire table that she could not serve me another glass of wine (we'd been there two hours by now) because I already had two. Service was slow and it seemed like we were bothering them. Kicker came with the bill when someone noticed that 20% gratuity had already been added...no problem, usually done for large parties....but it seemed like with a little more effort....we all would've tipped much more. They claim to appreciate military and veterans, but it's a lie. They offer a military discount when ordering meal but then refuse to honor it. I have been going there since 1997, but will now never set foot in that dishonorable establishment again. read more

Came here while staying with family at the Thousand Trails RV campsite. I ordered a personal size margherita pizza, which I thought was very good. The service was also on point, and the atmosphere gave off good pizza joint vibes with New York photos and brick walls. Depending on where you sit, you can watch them make your pizza in the window, which is neat. As far as desserts go, but Godfather might tell you the bread pudding is one of the best around! I personally really enjoyed my strawberry cheescake as well. Ok, this is gross but for some reason I wasn't super grossed out. There were little non-flying gnat looking bugs on the table that I had to kill. I know I knowwwww. You should know too. Docked a star for that. read more

First time to visit yesterday, I dine in and had the chicken piccata. The chicken tasted like it had been boiled. No flavor, rubber texture and no coating. The meal came with a choice of salad and one very small breadstick. If you wait bread with your meal I would recommend you order some under their appetizer menu. I ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza for my spouse to go, light on the toppings, dry and minimum cheese. Their medium is closer to a small so order a large if you are going to share. I also ordered two cupcakes, one was a Oreo and the other was their special a lemon. Icing is cool whip texture, cake was moist, I do not think I would spend 5.50 again however. I was visiting Willis to see family, and we got Pizza Shack to go. Their menu is large and encompasses more than just pizza! I called in advance to see what options I had since I can't eat dairy; she said she can't either and offered several options. I actually got the Greek pasta meal with gluten free/vegan pasta and no cheese. It was fantastic and great portion size. It even came with a side salad. I was impressed. The first time I came I met a girlfriend for lunch! The inside is actually very open and large!! Tons of tables and booths to sit at!! The staff was extremely friendly and our waitress was wry attentive!! They had pasta and wine and I was excited!!! I chose the Cajun pasta! It came with a side salad to start! So fresh and delicious!! The pasta though! Chicken, shrimp, crawfish, tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach with fettuccine in a creamy Cajun sauce!! Oh my word!!! Absolutely amazing!!!! Tons of flavor and the perfect amount for lunch!! The second time I came, I'm trying the Pasta Milano!! I love this fish at Cheesecake Factory so I was excited to try their spin on it!! Got a salad to start like usual! So good!! The pasta was really good!! Great flavor and I loved the bow tie! Tons of chicken end the sun dried tomatoes worked perfectly within the dish!! I've visited Pizza Shack several times and every time the service is excellent. Service can make or break a place. These folks do it right. Food, yes, food. That's what you care about. Very good. However, this last visit I wanted something other than pizza. My mind was blown when I saw catfish on the menu. Catfish at a pizza place ... man was I glad I ordered it! This catfish was better than some of the catfish I've had at some SEAFOOD restaurants! Yeah, that's not a typo! Their menu is large and I think that's why I've never seen the catfish - because I alway focused on the pizza instead. So, if this is your first time, have the pizza. My husband picked up dinner I got the fried zucchini it tasted old and had a fishy taste it was not pleasant. I gave them to my husband he tried one and said the grease was old. My husband got boneless wings, got my son a pepperoni pizza it was ok nothing I haven't had before very average and plain my son only ate 2 pieces and normally he can put down a large by himself. Now on to the cupcake I got the one called wedding bells it arrived smashed but I wasn't going to let that stop me I bit into it and the frosting turned me off it tasted like crisco it had a waxy texture to it it just wasn't for me no one else wanted it after my description of the frosting. What a gem!!! I almost hate to rave about how great this is, since it will make me have to wait longer the next time I order, but they deserve it! The crust is flavorful, and just right. The sauce is good, and isn't over powering. The cheese has a great flavor and isn't too oily. The veggies were freshly chopped, and don't have that taste and texture of being refrigerated and pulled from the bucket taste. The meats were great and weren't greasy. We got a Lg double pepperoni And Lg Shack Special. We 86'd the mushrooms, and it was perfect for us. It was so good we almost went back the next night! Who knew some of the best pizza in the Houston area I have tried is in Willis? We were dropping a car at Freedom Automotive (great business-I have reviewed) and passed Pizza Shack going there and decided to stop on the way back. First thing you see when you come in is fabulous cupcakes and other desserts. We were seated in the large dining room and a friendly waitress who served all evening arrived. We opted for the All Meat pizza. It came out quickly and was terrific. My favorite kind of crust--hand-tossed on the deep side. Lots of topping and cheese without too much sauce. I have not had better in this area. I know they have craft and standard brand beers. Not sure about other offerings. Jon at Freedom Automotive said the bread pudding is amazing but we'll have to try next time. Definitely a great choice we will choose again. They have a Montgomery location as well-not far from Lake Conroe on 105. On our radar! read more

Total incompetence from the waiter. Disregarded putting in our order. Over an hour later realized our order had not been placed. Had to get my own refills during the hour I waited for no food. Went tonight Friday evening with my friend and was an absolute great experience, especially being Christmas weekend. Every staff member including our server were super friendly, our server I feel so bad that I didn't get her name but (2 tops with Coke and Diet Coke) she will remember us! She was super busy as everyone was but she remained friendly, fast and on top of our needs! Honestly one of the best servers I have had in a while! Thank you! The food was amazing, fresh and hot! I got the Cajun Pasta and the chicken was literally the best grilled chicken I have had from a restaurant in a while, seafood in the pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. We were excited to try Pizza Shack as we are new to the area. My husband and I split the artichoke dip and the spaghetti and meatballs. The artichoke dip was delicious and I would definitely get it again. The spaghetti sauce was overly sweet and the meatball was very bland. We went there for lunch the other day. I ordered a meatball Po-Boy, while mt wife ordered a Margahrita Pizza. The Po-Boy was pretty good, although the meatballs were a bit dry. The pizza was not a Margahrita Pizza as I know it - with only fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil. This one had pizza sauce as well. I tried it and it was good. Husband took his staff for lunch on this past Saturday December 3rd there were probably 5 of them total. Shack was busy,however,you should be prepared since it's like that every Saturday. They ordered drinks and appetizers drinks came after 20 minutes of waiting but no appetizers. They bring lunch out, they never got their salads never got appetizers. Waitresses comment was, "I didn't bring your appetizers?" How do you not know if you brought Someone something? They only get an hour for lunch so in that time span you can't remember if you delivered something? Need to really step up your game if you want business! read more
