5 stars isn't enough for Vido's. This little food truck on Frazier is filling a gap in Conroe that nobody else even tries to fill -- real artisanal pizza, available when you actually want it (EVENING HOURS!!!). Albert runs the show out of that trailer and he's fantastic - super friendly, clearly passionate about the craft, and somehow turns out delicious pizza fast without cutting a single corner. The crust, the ingredients, the care put into it, you can definitely taste the difference!! If you live in Conroe and haven't tracked down this truck yet, TRY EM OUT! This is the one !! read more

So unique, so handmade, so wholesome. When I get off work late it's hard to find dinner places open sometimes and I was really craving pizza so I called and this very kind lady picked up the phone and let me meander the menu without rushing me (at almost 10 PM) and gave me all sorts of ideas. It was realllly sweet it felt like calling my mom or grandma and ordering a pizza through them. She even wanted to give me a free coke but I was like ohhhh I can't do caffeine hahha and we laughed. Just wonderful. Then they texted me that the order was ready and I responded I was 5 mins away and they sent back a cute little cowboy emoji!! I love a good personal touch. It's the human side of the business that you just don't get all the time, you know? Anyways on the drive home I ate all of the garlic bread. Every bit of it. I was starving and the cheese is just so REAL and the sauce is so immediately noticeably home made. Then when I got home I sat down to watch some family guy and ate the entire pizza as well. Excellent food and excellent experience, what else can you ask for!!!! I paid $36 plus a small gratuity and I thought that was a little pricey at first but man it was so worth it. Plus what I got could have definitely fed two people haha. Also, that's $20 cheaper than a similar order I had in my cart with grimaldis before I realized it was too late to order from there. Pizza is so good. We have tried millions of different pizzas from Kansas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Nevada, etc. this pizza is fantastic. The flavors are Smokey and delicious. What looks like a mother and daughter in the food truck are SO NICE! Gave us some spicy Sause they were trying and it was DELICIOUS!!! So good. Would 100% come back for this pizza. Best pizza I've had in Conroe! However, we've ordered for lunch a couple of times. The worst pizza! The dough wasn't cooked enough, kinda raw in the crust area. The pepperoni wasn't cooked right, crisp on a few edges but mostly sweated warm. Overall, not there best effort. We enjoy checking out what's new at the Plaza De Los Food Trucks. The other night we got our dinner from the new pizza truck, Vido's Pizza. We got 3 pizzas--a pepperoni with added jalapenos, a veggie pizza, and a custom pizza with anchovies, onions and their green sauce. I got a lemon tea to drink while I waited for the pizzas. The sauces need some explaining. It appears that all the pizzas come with their tomato sauce. You can add the green sauce (mayo, cilantro, black pepper, salt and lime) or the poppers sauce (jalapeno popper ingredients--jalapenos, cream cheese, bacon (prosciutto), and black pepper). They have one size of pizza, which is comparable to a medium from other places. The crust is tasty and filling so one pizza will at least feed two, three if they get sides. They also have salads, which we did not try. The pepperoni with jalapeno was a good representation, with tasty crust and plenty of pepperoni. The jalapenos made it spicy but not too spicy. Very good. Their ovens give the pizza a nice char on the bottom for added flavor. The veggie pizza has lots of different standard veggies but you'll notice the arugula--they give you plenty, right on top. It's an attractive pizza and very tasty. Like most veggie pizzas it was pretty wet--the vegetables release a lot of water in cooking. Anchovies are an unusual ingredient on pizzas these days. They raise strong feelings as well as a strong flavor. The guy who took my order said I was the first one he remembered asking for anchovies. I thought the green sauce would be a good complement to the anchovies, and it was. The amount was just right--anchovies are indeed strong stuff, and too much would be overpowering. The lemon tea did not actually have any tea in it--it was lemonade. I was hoping for more like half and half. Just so you know. The pizzas are $18-20 before tax and tip. That's pretty high, though perhaps not an unusual markup for a food truck. It's a different experience from the heavily discounted big chains. Would it displace my favorite artisanal pizza, Crust Pizza? I don't think so. You can get a medium at Crust for significantly less, and they have anchovies too. The salads are $9-11 and that's the only other price point. They have three ovens so the wait was only 15 minutes, even for our larger order. We enjoy the atmosphere at the food truck park, though due to heat we ordered takeout. If you're there and want pizza it would be worth trying, for sure. read more

Pricing is absolutely ridiculous, every ingredient adds an extra charge, including basil, garlic, parsley, cilantro. Ended up with a regular sized pizza for a whopping $ 38.00. For that price I could've fed the whole family. Would not recommend, as the crust was so thin that everything on the top of the pizza fell anyway. read more
