I had to come leave a review for our experience at First Watch on I-45 in Conroe because WOW. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was unmatched. I came in with my mom, nana, husband, and my service dog, and our server Makayla genuinely made this one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. What shocked me most is finding out she's actually pretty new, because she handled that busy brunch rush like a seasoned professional. She was incredibly attentive, kind, patient, and so thoughtful the entire time we were there. She made sure my family's coffee cups never went empty, constantly checked on us without hovering, and somehow managed to keep everything flowing smoothly even while the restaurant was packed. One thing that really stood out to me was how caring she was toward my service dog. Not everybody pays attention to those little details, but she did immediately. I ordered the Trio Breakfast with a plain waffle specifically for him, and without me even having to repeat myself, she made sure there was absolutely no butter or syrup on it because she remembered it was for my dog. That level of attentiveness meant a lot to me. Now let's talk about the MILLION DOLLAR POTATOES. Whoever created those deserves a raise immediately. As a pregnant woman in my first trimester, eating has honestly been a struggle lately because almost nothing sounds good or stays satisfying. Those potatoes were one of the first things in a while that actually made me excited to eat. They were savory, comforting, flavorful, and honestly addictive. I was so invested in those potatoes that I can barely even remember what the rest of my family ordered . I asked Makayla what was in them because I was genuinely blown away, and she took the time to explain everything to me so sweetly. She also made sure our food came out hot and quickly, and you could tell she truly cared about people having a good experience, not just "doing her job." I even asked to speak with her manager because excellent service deserves recognition. Aaron, the manager, was just as wonderful. You could tell he genuinely took pride in hearing positive feedback about Makayla, especially as a new hire. He thanked us for coming in, was extremely kind and informative, and honestly helped create such a welcoming atmosphere overall. I told my family I wish I could throw Makayla, Aaron, and the million dollar potatoes into my suitcase and bring them all back home to California with me . Unfortunately, there are no First Watch locations in California, which honestly feels criminal at this point. To Makayla and Aaron: thank you for making a pregnant woman, her family, and her service dog feel genuinely cared for. In a busy brunch restaurant, that level of hospitality is rare, and it absolutely did not go unnoticed. We will remember this experience for a very long time. read more

Visited with some friends on our way out of town and had an overall pleasant experience here. It was busy on a Sunday late morning, and the waitlist time online was not accurate--it said 0-10 min, so we didn't put our name in, but upon getting there, it was 15-20 min wait. So keep that in mind. Our waitress was very kind and took our orders promptly. They took a while to come, but I attribute that to the busy morning. I got the trifecta, and enjoyed my meal and portion size. The blueberry pancake was a good choice and came with a compote that was a good addition. The drive to Willis was well worth it to get to First Watch Restaurant. My husband's job always has breakfast at First Watch all over Houston, but this was my first experience. We were greeted and seated within 10 mins because there was a little wait, and I saw why. The food is delicious and the wait staff is so helpful. Nathaniel was so helpful with my iced coffee order and made sure I tried it before I finalized my order. I had to get the Maple Bacon Croissant Sandwich which was a part of their seasonal menu, so delicious. The croissant was so soft and airy n everything in the sandwich was flavorful. Can't go wrong with some pumpkin spice anything so getting the donuts was a must! Enjoyed my meal and was even greeted by the manger who also helped us in deciding on our drinks. I was a little skeptical because of the overall industrial vibe with the exterior. The inside was much more welcoming. And I had no concerns. Sat at the bar and everything was super clean. Coffee is HOT and bold. It was my first visit so I chose a southern stand by - biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs and potatoes. It was FANTASTIC. I'd never been anywhere that flat top toasted their biscuits and I don't think I can ever eat them any other way again. Husband had the smoked salmon benedict and raved. Servers were super attentive but not interrupting. Sadly I neglected to take photos. Will have to next time because there absolutely will be a next time. read more

Food was great. Service was great, until the server dumped a large bottle of water on my daughter's lap. He was apologetic and very helpful in cleaning it up. However, her lap was soaked. In my experience in restaurant management. The manager would have at least come by and apologized and see if there was anything he could do. Maybe comp her coffee ?? Food absolutely could have used some attention to detail. -Eggs were cold. -Avocado's used had an aged brownish tint to them. -Appetizer chosen was Million Dollar Bacon, two strips were crispy and the other two were RAW. -Cleanliness of utensils, my glass for water was very dirty, asked for a new one. The second one issued to me was still dirty and had 1/4" of water in the bottom. First visit and my smoked salmon frittata was not enjoyable. It wasn't hot, very bland and almost greasy and when I politely mentioned that it was not what I expected. the waiter apologized. Went to First Watch in Willis after eating there many times in Ohio. We were greeted by a nice greeter who held the door for us and welcomed us in. We were seated quickly, (but back by the kitchen and bathroom.) Our waitress Emma, was attentive, but our food took 30 minutes to arrive. That's not something that is normal, according to our waitress, so I went through two cups of tea before it got to the table. In any other instance, I would say the service was poor BUT I know First Watch and know that it was just a glitch. I ordered the Hash Bowl, (Farmhouse) and my husband got the (Parma.) We have been here several times with our kids but this morning was not a good experience. We were sat at the same time as the table next to us. Ordered at the same time and their food came & table was cleared before ours arrived. We had 2 small children (2,4) and their food was the last to arrive. I politely expressed my frustration with our server and his response was that the kitchen was taking longer to get food out . A little on the expensive side, was over $20 with a tip for just myself. Ordered eggs benedict and an orange juice. Both were excellent, served hot, fresh, and darn fast too. Was in and out in about 20 minutes, which for me is ideal. It's clean, but nothing special interior wise -- mildly upscale would be my take. Food quality is good and matches their premium prices, if their prices were more in line with standard breakfast faire we'd eat here every weekend, but alas it's priced to be special occasions only. Which is fine, but I'm not sure it's a good fit for meat & potatoes Willis; watched a hillbilly rube argue with his waitress about why they don't have pork sausage, like I said they just won't "get it".
