Best pizza we've had in Oxford. Big NY slices (can do individual slices if you want instead). Right amount of sauce that is slightly sweeter. Ask for the crust "well done" to get the perfect crispiness. The Divinci was our favorite since it was slightly different than we normally get but the pep/green pepper had great flavor too. I haven't left a good review of anyone in awhile and am beginning to feel that I am tipping toward being only negative here. No one likes that Yelper, so I thought I might leave one on a place I like who I feel has been working hard the last seven or eight months to right a sometimes listing ship. I've been going to Pizza Shop since they opened and have experienced the ebbs and flows of the product there. They've had some consistency issues over the years, but when they get it right, it's arguably the best pizza in town. I've definitely had some five star pies here on numerous occasions, but there have been some hiccups, hence only four stores. They closed for a bit last Spring I believe to revamp everything, and I've been happily surprised by their being very consistent since whatever it was that they did. The owner has been up there a good bit, and he's a real friendly guy. I wanted to leave them a review because I think the average here is a bit too low, and I think they have put a lot of work in to start delivering a consistent product again. It's owned by a family, and I think they are really invested in making the place great. If you haven't gone in a bit, definitely give them another shot, especially if you like NY style pizza. read more

However on Saturday April 02, 2022 I had an abnormally long wait on a pizza, when I walked in the there were two very swamped employees trying to take care of a full front of house and to go orders. The girl who was visibly nervous and upset told me it would be a bit longer, no problem. When I went back the "manager" had mysteriously materialized out of no where, as my pizza came out the manager slaps my pizza down barks an order at the girl about finishing my pizza, she was already helping another customer and asked him a question his response in front of both myself and another customer was this direct quote "I don't give a damn, I'm the manger cut the pizza and sell and do what I tell you" The girl stood there shell shocked as the manager turned his back to her. What an representation of your business. I tried to tell the girl to keep her head and that she was doing a good job but she was still in shock of being accosted by the bully this business put in charge on a Saturday night. It's my birthday and we decided to check out the new pizza place in town. I can guarantee we won't be back. There was only one other customer in the restaurant when we arrived. After we ordered, we proceeded to wait more than an hour (1h and 20 min) for a simple pepperoni pizza and fries. The fries were made immediately, and we watched them sit on top of the oven for 45 minutes before our pizza was ready. By the time we got them they were cold. The pizza itself was greasy, salty, and subpar. The most frustrating part of our experience is not once did someone take responsibility for the wait time. Everyone was served before us, and not once did the person in charge communicate with us (even though he communicated with other customers who had an order messed up). The customer service was appalling and never again will I wait that long for bad pizza. I wish we had asked for our money back. read more

The food here is amazing. The speciality pies are amazing. We got the Davinci and Mary Lee both were great. If you like a spicy pizza the Davinici is really good. If you like an updated cheese pizza the Mary Lee is the one for you. The Caesar salad is the best in town. My wife is gluten free and says the gluten free crust is one of the best she has eaten. The pizza by the slice is great if you do not want a whole pizza. My only complaint would be the truffle fries. There was so much truffle oil I could not taste the other ingredients. I was looking forward to trying this place out for the first time tonight and was excited to see they were open til 1AM on Fri and Sat. This is great for me as a night shift worker. I get my order together online and click the ole "check out" button only to be told that they're closed at just after 11 PM on a Friday night. So much for being excited about this place. The menu I received in the mail and the website both say they're open until 1 AM which is clearly not accurate. Looks like I wont be eating here after all. Back to the national chain brands for me. This place was so bad I would give it a 0 but I can't. We have been in the store for 2 hours and I just checked, and our pizza hasn't been put in the oven yet. No one in the restaurant has a pizza, and everyone has been waiting at least an hour. Several people left without anything, and they are turning others away. Employees are on their phones, fighting with each other, and not practicing cleanliness. We will never be back. Couldn't even tell you if the food is good. read more
