It's been going down hill for awhile, haven't been ordering as frequently. It started with burnt pizza's and my wife being told that "she's too picky". The owner did make it right after seeing the pictures, but it's the hassle while you're trying to feed people that makes the juice not worth the squeeze. I can't remember if that location was open when we moved here 20 years ago, but if they were, that's how long we've been consistent customers. What happened tonight was unacceptable, won't ever go back, you can't trust them after an experience like this. I've seen employees, even owners, come, and go. Mark has been there a long time, I was ordering from them long before Mark was there. He's seen my eldest grow from a young child, to a man. While I'm here, I'll say that Mark is great. Haven't seen him in a while, not sure if he's still there... Anyhow. Kids were hungry (yup, still have little ones), said they wanted Z-Pizza, so I told them to order it and I'd go pick it up. Some time passed and I was going to leave to pick up, but my son said that he called and they weren't answering. I called a 2-3 times, no answer, so I told the kids that they might be busy and I'd try to go order in person. It was late, but it wasn't too late when my kid was calling. I dove there with one of my sons... The place was already cleaned up, the 2 employees ready to go. Unusual for a Saturday night, nobody's ordering Pizza?! I explained that we had been calling, no answer, and wanted to order a pizza. The guy attending the register said "we're closing soon, not making anymore pizza". It was clear that they had zero intention of making a pizza, so I asked why they were closed at 8:40... he just shrugged. So, I left frustrated. When I was getting into my car, I could see one of them clearly pointing, and laughing at my son, and I. So, I walked back in and asked why he was laughing. He said "I don't have to tell you that". I asked him name, he said "I'm not telling you that". I let him know that he didn't have to, the owner would know who was working that night, my description would be enough. Then he said that he was talking to a guy sitting at a table. Again, I asked him "what was so funny", he didn't speak, so asked the man seated. That man said "nothing, he knocked on the (partition) glass laughing, I don't know". I asked the guy at the register for his name, no response. Went and spent my money somewhere else. Quiet on a Saturday, closing early, very telling. You just lost another customer, you can close at 8:30 now... make it 8, better yet, 7:30, you want to make sure that those two guys aren't too busy selling pizza for them to leave on the dot. Saturday, May 9'th, 2026. Calling before 8:40, showed up at 8:50, no service. Change your hours and turn your "Open" sign off if you don't want business. (Pic of "Open" sign lit for fun). Parking can be a little hectic, but the shopping center is fairly large so it's manageable. The portions run a bit smaller than some spots, but they're packed with flavor. Vast parking for this place. I've had better pizza. In my opinion they pack on too much cheese on their pizza. I bought two slices of pepperoni. Sauce is flavorful, pepperoni was just right. I actually like their crust. Again, just way too much cheese. The establishment probably only seats about 15-20 people. Tables are set up for small groups 3 or less. This place is very clean and sterile. I've looked behind the counters and they're very, very clean. Including the ovens and surrounding areas. The tables are always very clean as well where you dine. Drinks are sold in a bottle or can. I paid a little over $12 for two slices and can of Pepsi. I'd definitely recommend them if you're trying to get your pizza fix. read more

My bf used to always eat z pizza at one of their other locations and I've never even heard of it! Luckily we have this location close to us and decided to try it this past Memorial Day. What a great spot to celebrate! We arrived pretty early. This is located in the same shopping center as the Amazon Fresh, right on the corner. It's a huge lot with tons of parking. We were early and they didn't have any pre-slices available yet but we planned on getting a few large sizes anyway. We ended up getting the Napoli (basically margherita pizza) and a roasted garlic chicken. I haven't had a good roasted garlic chicken pizza in a very long time. I used to love the one at CPK many years ago but they haven't been good as of late. The older worker (maybe owner) let us know that it would be ready in about 15 minutes so we hit up the boba shop next door and came back. As soon as it was ready, we took it home to enjoy. I was already AMAZED by the way it smelled on the way home in the car. You can smell how fresh the ingredients were. The flavor of the pizzas were incredible. Didn't have much of the Napoli but I devoured the garlic chicken. They came with HUGE garlic cloves and the pizza itself was unbelievably creamy!! The lack of consistency for this location has to be reviewed. We order about twice a month and I'm done. Half the time it's good, 1/4 of the time the order is not complete or correct and the other 1/4 of the time the food is disappointing. Tonight falls in the disappointing column. We ordered a crispy pie with oregano. Oregano was forgotten and if this is what the chef considers crispy, then I'm not sure this person should be making pizza. We also paid for extra ranch dressing - not included. Drivers never have red pepper flakes or parm cheese. I don't feel like calling anymore to get the mistakes addressed or fixed. First time trying ZPizza for the traditional Sunday night pizza night. I can confidently say it was not awful, but not exactly the pizza fantasy I'd hoped for. You can tell a lot about a pizza when you first open the box...before you even taste it, the look gives you clues about their attention to detail. So glance at the photo of the large cheese pie...on the one hand the cheese looked perfectly cooked (so many places send out barely melted mozzarella pies) and there was a generous amount of their robust sauce. (as is my preference...so many pizzerias barely put any sauce on their pies.) But what's with the weird and uneven amounts of space between the edges of the pizza and the beginning of the sauce and cheese? Had a pre-schooler been assigned the assembly of my pizza? I mean I like pizza crust...but I especially like it when it's topped with the things that make it a pizza. The sauce and cheese tasted good. I'd eat that again. The crust itself was not great...cardboard-y and not the chewy crispy crust you really want out of a NY style pie. It did have a sort of buttery flavor going on which was interesting, and what you want with a Chicago style pizza, but this was sort of like buttery saltines. No. My wife had the Brooklyn Vegan...She thought they did as good as they can with what must have been the standard gluten free crust that shops use when they just want to have a gluten free offering, but don't really care so much about whether it's good. So again crust bad, toppings good. Thanks to Z Pizza for at least offering the vegan and for at least having the gluten free option. But it wasn't great. read more

I was on my way to an event and I wanted to bring food because it was my mom's bday the other day and also it is Mother's Day weekend. I figured bring some food to help with festivities (in the end someone brought dominoes so more pizza I suppose haha ). I entered and I easily greeted by the loudness of the tv by the Nuggets Timberwolves playing. It was nice little cozy place with a few waiting benches and about three to four tables for dining in. I saw the menu and it was fancy haha but I stuck with the simple toppings which were cheese and pepperoni but honestly I should have got the margherita. Anyways I tried the pepperoni first and man it was delightful! The pepperoni was crisped up just the way I love it and the dough not just from the pepperoni but the cheese as well was cooked well! Not too thick and not too thin just right! The cheese pizza was next AND goodness like how do people sleep on cheese pizza?!? Like it's the best ever and this one was really good like the cheese pull could of been better but like I suspect it cooled down a bit after transportation and it sat for a bit before we ate it. The cheese was flavorful as well I particularly like the sauce! It was good! The staff was nice and they were working hard. I was just observing them and they were just having fun and working and cleaning like this is how you run a business! Work hard and enjoy yourselves! Came in this evening and just picked up a roasted garlic chicken pizza. Let me tell you, my sis hates it when I eat garlic and refuses to sit next to me when I eat anything with onions or garlic. We picked up our pizza and the aroma was so amazing that she even wanted to have some. Well, I did share some pizza with her and she loved it! Parking: there is a lot. Free parking. Was originally going to order online but was too cheap to pay the delivery fee and it was difficult to determine the pizza sizes online. We ended up going there when they opened. The cashier/pizza-artist was a really nice guy, we were stuck between two pizza flavors and he told us we could do a split pizza. We ended up ordering a x-large pizza (half garlic chicken/half mango chicken), 8 piece wings and a antipasto salad. This fed 4 hungry adults, it was about $50. The wait was about 15-20 mins. Now I know what the "Z" stands for, the ZERO STARS I would give them if it were possible. Utter chaos, poor customer service, overpriced and clearly understaffed. The pictures look great, impressive menu. I was so excited! I ordered salad with pear and gorgonzola and a Veggie Calzone. I said I was going to eat inside if that was alright and the girl said yes she would me my order. The place was empty (that should have been my first clue). No customers on the patio either and the tables weren't the cleanest. But after a long day at work, I was ok with it. My salad came first, had to ask for my drink, then patiently waited for my Calzone. The salad was delicious and fresh, I still had high hopes. The kitchen was chaotic though. The cooks were barking and yelling loud orders (it's a very tiny place, really?) I guessed that this was going to be a great takeout delivery option for the future. But I guessed wrong. Multiple frustrated customers came in more than once checking on their orders and were told they weren't ready yet. They were as disappointed as I was. They left and came back sadder each time. After a long wait I asked the status of my Calzone. One guy said oh it's been ready. So the girl brought it out to me and apologized. It didn't taste right, so I added packets of parmigiana and it got better. Then I realized that there was absolutely no cheese on it. I opened the Calzone and it was veggies, no white sauce no cheese whatsoever. I went to the register and showed the bare Calzone to the guy, possibly the manager and he said we'll make you a new one. I said thank you. Then the cook said, "Veggie Calzone gets cheese??", then the manager proceeded to pick at the Calzone and try to tell me that there actually was cheese on it after dredging up a fork-full of uncooked pizza dough. I quickly let him know that wasn't cheese but uncooked dough and he argued that the cheese had just melted. To my recollection cheese doesn't evaporate when it melts. He basically called me a liar. His attitude was horrible and combative. The cook said "I just put one in, she can have that one". The manager said no she can wait. So I sat and waited. And waited... After the rude manager/delivery guy left to deliver pizzas in his dirty car I asked the staff how long this place had been in business and I was told 18 years. That's shocking because they were swimming in the weeds like it was their first week in business. All that yelling and no communication. Sad. In 18 years you don't know Veggie Calzone gets cheese and you forget about the only customer sitting in your restaurant who gave you a 20% tip and you want to argue and give me dirty looks?? This time we did 1/2 American and 1/2 pepperoni and mushroom. I always ask for the pizza to be cooked well done. When I get my pizza it usually is, like I ask. This time it wasn't. But nothing an oven and broiler can't fix. So I put it in the oven and made it well done myself. It was tasty! I know these things happen from time to time....just as long as it's not frequent, I'm cool! Wings- WOW!!! First time ordering these and we were very happy! Will get these again for sure! Happy we got 16! You can get 8, 16, or ?? (I forget the last amount you can get). We ordered the wings to be cooked well done....and they were! They came piping hot in two containers. For sauces we got basil pesto, buffalo, thai, and ranch.
