Halloween trick or treat for the family! Treat for my vegan son - I was told all their doughs are free of eggs. Trick for the family- as to be vegan friendly , we got to order vegan cheese for extra charge on the other pie. The server was nice. The wait for my order was lesser time than expected. She did not give me a hard time using their promo coupons. Pricing is reasonable. This is our new favorite pizza joint in consideration of my vegan son

You have to go to this place with the right mindset. Know that you're getting a thicker crust. Know that you're going here for the fusion aspect. And go try some of their more unique flavors. We got the chicken tikka pizza and it was axtjally quite good. The chicken itself was pretty flavorful and it was nice to have a bit of a spin on the standard toppings. Check it out if you're in the area.

Everything you know about Chicago pizza and Indian food but have you thought of combining those two together? In this neighborhood, there are many Indian restaurants with several fusion. Last time I went to one of those fusion restaurants, sadly I was so disappointed of the food and never would even want to tried it again. That is why I didn't have high expectations when I decided to try this restaurant and the conclusion was surprisingly really good. My friend said there was a new pizza store opened up around the corner and he wanted to try it. When we got there, it was packed inside and out. After entering, the owner said it was their grand opening day and they are giving away pizza. It was prefect time to join the party. They only give away vegetables topping or plain. I got a couple of different slices to try without know the name of any of them. The pizza dough was thick and had a really good crispy crust. The fusion pizza with Indian spices was weird but surprisingly good. I would definitely come back to try their chicken, lamb or beef on the pizza. The owner said they are expanding and opening more stores in the future.

The box.. the pizza inside just got eaten

Best pizza ever! Great service. Fast and always on time. The flavors are delicious and always fresh and full of taste. Never needed to order dominoes again! Thanks guys for a superb pizza with Indian flavors!

Excellent pizza...great fresh cheese. Ordered off of Slice....and picked it up. Reminds me of old school pizza hut (the deep dish slice) but with fresher ingredients. Will order again. Thanks for being in the neighborhood!

I don't know why this place isn't given more hype! I love coming to eat here. The tandoori chicken pizza is amazing & I love the fact they control the spice level (because their extra spicy so ahhhh good!) I've also tried the chicken tikka (which wasn't too bad). Cheese is also a crowd pleaser. Make sure you call in advance- the wait is about 15/20 minutes

This place is pretty tasty and located in a busy area of hillside. Try out any of the specialty pies, all of them are good. It definitely doesn't taste like traditional pizza it's more desi style.

    3. All Meat Pizza

Talk about horrible service. My brother-in-law ordered two specialty pizzas from this place (1 chicken tikka and 1 meat lovers). After to getting to our house we realized that they had given him the wrong order which was 1 chicken tikka and 1 butter chicken pizza. After calling them, they initiated with saying that it was our fault for picking up the wrong pizza. It is at this point I got involved and took over the ordeal. After explaining that it isn't the customers responsibility to make sure they are receiving the correct item. It's like a customer at McDonalds opening each sandwich at the register to make sure it's correct. Absolutely ridiculous. Hoping to have them at this time at least deliver the right order (which they have a delivery service) they flat out refused! I said fine and told them I would bring the pizza back. Finally after arriving with the wrong buffalo chicken pizza they had me wait again for the meat lovers to be finished which was an entirely 45min-1hr later. I decided this to open the box and guess what I found? A BURNT PIZZA!! After asking them if this was burnt they said no, that's normal. I've posted the picture below for your own opinion. Never come here again!!!

The food was prepared quickly and was ready when we arrived for pickup. Our order included the chicken tikka pizza and garlic breadsticks. While the chicken tikka pizza looked delicious, the flavor was a bit underwhelming due to the lack of sauce and an overall dry taste. I questioned how it was different from a typical pizza. The breadsticks were pretty tasty especially with a dipping sauce. Overall the food was good, yet I didn't quite experience the twist.

After hearing all the good things about this place from friends we decided to try it out. There are many restaurants now serving up pizza with Indian toppings on them but this place hit the spot. We ordered one butter chicken pizza, one paneer tikka masala pizza and 2 orders of wings. The wings we got were mango habanero and chicken tikka masala, both of which were fantastic. The only thing about the wings is I wish they were crispier but granted that's on us for not ordering them that way. The cheesy bread was amazing as well. The service here is top notch, every single person was super friendly here. They were very accommodating and on point with their service. They offer blue cheese with the wings which is a plus for me since some spots in the area don't offer it or charge you more for it. Everything is reasonably priced as well. For 5 people we spent about $100 for all that food. I will definitely be back, I hope they open up a mini bar as well, but overall the food was delicious.

Should be Vegan Pepperoni Pizza. No clue what this is.

We were greeted with a complimentary popcorn, which was delicious! The waiter was also incredibly attentive to our table and made sure to check on us occasionally. The ambiance is dim, kind of like a bar restaurant without too much noise. It's a great spot for a date night out. We ordered 20 pieces of wings, half with soy garlic and the other half with mango habanero, tteok-Bokki (with cheese) and truffle fries. I personally do not handle spice very well, however the mango habanero was surprisingly good and not too spicy. In my opinion, I thought the tteok-bokki was spicier but not too spicy to the point where I couldn't take a second bite. Although I have been to many other Mad for Chicken chains before, this is my first time in the Forest Hills location and also my first time publishing a review for this restaurant. I would totally come back!

The thighs/drumsticks are better, but the chicken wings are always too dry for me. With that said, Mad For Chicken chain has been around for a while, producing one of the more tender and juicier piece of chicken. Unfortunately, we did not love their sauces at this location. The soy garlic felt weak, while the spicy soy garlic was not spicy. Serano chili was okay but nothing special either. Our favorite thing that day was their Bulgogi Toppoki Japchae. It was pretty tasty. Might come back for this dish and give their chicken one more chance.

First the owner is the one taking your order he is very nice and professional. I had a lot of questions he answered all of them and I as very patient. The fish was fried well but not overly fried that it was dry, I liked that. Next the shrimp was a good size and had the right amount of batter; also very good. The macaroni and cheese was not for me but that does not mean it was bad; I like my macaroni and cheese simple and for me this macaroni and cheese was overly seasoned in my opinion. So it depends how you like your macaroni. The other item, I ordered was off the light bites which is a great idea because some people eat small amounts from that menu I got the wings and fries. The wing sauce I got was the honey jerk and I liked it a lot. The wings were really good and so were the fries. I also ordered the guava lemonade which was good and the lobster and shrimp enchiladas and a which was also really good, it came with a sauce that is delicious. I loved this place and will definitely be back. The place is nice and you can eat there but it was cold for me so we took it to go. The best part of the experience was I didn't get sick afterwards. Sometimes at fried places; the food makes you sick but not here. I look forward to trying more things off their menu. Also we did order the sweet plantain with oxtail; it was good but the amount of oxtail was not enough for the thickness of the plantain; but I know that with that comes rising the prices which he probably doesn't want to do so; it is worth a try. What a neighborhood GEM!! Kuku Korean was fantastic! Fresh, tasty food at reasonable prices!…read more We (6 of us) were in the neighborhood for a Valentine's Day celebration and searched Yelp for a good ethnic restaurant in the area. We came across Kuku Korean and said YESSS, this is the place to go! The only wrench in our plans was that Kuku Korean doesn't take reservations; not even on Valentine's Day! They warned us that they expected to be very busy that evening, and to expect a wait. Ok, we made plans to go, but also made a Resy with another restaurant close by, as a backup plan in case there was a long wait for a table. But really, Kuku Korean was our preferred first choice. After our V Day event, we rushed over to Kuku Korean to see what the wait time was for a table for 6. It was just after 6pm, and the stars were aligned for us, because we got the last large table available! Woo Hoooo! Happy Valentine's Day to us!! We quickly cancelled our Resy with the other restaurant (sorry!) and perused Kuku Korean's fabulous menu. Our MENU (shared by 6ppl): ~ Seafood Pajeon ($24/large): Crispy battered pancake made with green onions & seafood (mussels, clams, squid, and shrimp). This was phenomenal! So much seafood and such a comforting dish...get this! ~ Veg Japche ($21): Stir-fried Korean vermicelli with Kuku soy-garlic Japchae sauce and assorted veggies. This dish was also available with various proteins but we opted for Veg since we were ordering other meat dishes. This dish was so flavorful and delicious. ~ Kuku Bibimbap ($24): Seasoned vegetables over rice, topped with a fried egg. Served with Kuku spicy bibim sauce. Again, you have the option of adding protein to this dish but we kept it veg. Another great dish! ~ Pork Galbi ($28): Char-grilled Pork ribs marinated in Kuku sauce, served with sauteed onions. Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. The pork was cut in thick slices, which was surprising, but wow, this was phenomenal! So tasty and lean, and just delicious. ~ Beef Bulgogi ($33): Sauteed thinly sliced beef rib-eye marinated in Kuku sauce with mushroom, Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. Another phenomenal dish. Bursting with flavor. -- Spicy Squid ($28): Stir-fried squid in spicy Kuku gochujang sauce, onions, hot pepper and carrot. Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. This squid was prepared perfectly; not over cooked nor rubbery! Great dish. - Ban Chan: generous unlimited servings; fresh & delicious. These 6 dishes, plus Ban Chan was perfect for 6 ppl to share. We finished everything and were fully satisfied. Every single dish was delicious and we ALL said we wanted to return to Kuku Korean to repeat some dishes and try new dishes. Customer service and atmosphere were great. The busser staff did an amazing job and were even more attentive than our server (who we only saw twice)...kudos to the bussers! They were so hard working, with a smiling, friendly attitude! Give them a raise! Looking forward to a return visit to Kuku Korean...hopefully SOON!!

Tteokbokki is considered street food and its literally rice & fish cakes. And they give you 3 pieces of ginmari. No reason it should be $19. Then for rosé flavor, which is literally just adding heavy cream to the sauce, is an extra $6. Then we ordered the 10 wing + 5 drumstick combo and we asked for half/half sauce assuming half of the 15 pieces are one sauce and the second half is another sauce. First off, they charge you $2 for sauce, which is fine but tell me why they charged us $2 FOUR times. So $8 total for sauce bc they separated the 10 wings into 5 and 5 and put one sauce each and they charged $2 each for that. And then they separated the 5 drumsticks into 3 and 2 and put one sauce each and charged $2 each for that. So total for 10 wings & 5 drumsticks was around $44. I've literally been to every korean fried chicken place on northern blvd and never have they separated the chicken like that and charged the sauces that way. Like why are you charging us for sauce 4 times when it is one single order of chicken. Never coming back here. Its a legit rip off. On top of that, they charge you for to-go containers, which is free at every restaurant. They just charge you exorbitant prices for literally every single thing here. We spent $85, not including tip, on tteokbokki, 15 pc of chicken & an order of fries.
