Okay now when I first heard about the Chuck E. Cheese pizza scandal I was skeptical. Until I saw the pizza I received from pizza Xpress. Now don't get me wrong the pizza here is bomb and cheap. Def worth the price. I ordered the pizza here after my friends helped me fix my car and as soon as we opened the pizza box arguments and conspiracy theories ensued. This little hole in the wall is alright. They are kinda generous with their toppings. Usually i will get a hawaiian and supreme pizza. They should use more sauce and chesse because the toppings just fall off. The crust is pretty good!!! My warning to all who come here! Always ask for your total and look at your receipt after every transaction. Twice I have been overcharged and had to go back. All they say is "sorry"!! Best place in San Diego to come for pizza if you want something that is good quality and affordable! We decided to order them via GrubHub after reading the good reviews from multiple places. We decided to get the supreme pizza, garlic parmesan wings, and cheesy bread sticks! LET ME TELL YOU, I am a cheese lover and those cheesy bread sticks were the best bread sticks I've ever had in my ENTIRE life! The pizza was sooo good, almost Pizza Hut quality according to my mom! And I am not a fan of garlic parmesan but those wings were absolutely delicious! We loved this place so much so that we ordered them all week! Let's also mention that they did not forget anything in our order! There isn't a very large menu avail, and there was also no option to include cheese and peppers, but we honestly didn't even need it! And let's not forget to mention those super cheap prices! There are many cheep pizza places in El Cajon but this joint has to be the cheapest. One decent sized pep pizza, wings, bread and a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi for under $20??? Yes please! Worst place to buy pizza !!!! Where do I start !!!!! I would give it a negative if they had that option. First of all, the pizza was not fresh the guy pulled it out of a oven before I can even finish my order, and also the guy who took my order was not welcoming, doesn't know the value of customer service, no smile nor friendly service, when everything was done I asked for plates and packets of cheese... apparently they charge for pepper and cheese packets and do not give plates, I got to the park with kids and feed them and honestly never had a pizza taste like public school pizza ...never again will I step foot in this place, I'm not happy and I live in El Cajon and will make sure to point people away from this awful place called pizza express!! read more

Every time the girls are working they never answer the phone. I have to call so many times just to get an answer. If the guys are working they usually answer first call. Owners really should be monitoring the phone. Overall fantastic pizza. I can only imagine how many customers they are loosing who to elsewhere when we the customers cannot get through on the phone. read more

The cashier could have been a bit more welcoming and professional, but i wasnt offended in any way. The quality of the pizza was delicious! Sauce, cheese, crust, all were so good. Pizza xpress is the go to place for cheap pizza that tastes great. I really like the pizza here, for the most part the pizza is fresh out of the oven. They are constantly making pizza, so unlike some other big chain pizzerias, the pizza you get if almost always made when orders. The only down side is that it usually takes about 10 minutes, so life hack call in before and order your pizza, so that as soon as you arrive you pizza will be out the oven and ready to take home. The pizza is on the thinner crust and they don't use excessive amount of pizza sauce. So if you are all about this kind of pizza, this will hit the spot. read more
