Can't say enough for the professionalism and the fast service. My driver was great and offered some great advice on my broken down vehicle.

Please call these guys! They are the best - honestly! They actually answered the phone, quickly sent someone out. They arrived to the car quicker than we did (we had to leave it overnight at the restaurant and Uber home). They came with the proper tow equipment (Geico originally sent a tow company that did not have the proper truck to back our car out despite the fact we fully explained to the tow company how it was parked, the distance between stalls and the type of car it was). When the Geico guy came, he had no idea what he was doing and then finally said, we need a different truck to tow the car"????!!!!!). So i googled tow companies and Pizzagoni to the rescue! I explained the situation, the owner just knew exactly what I was talking about, told me the type of tow truck needed, the driver arrived super fast and took great care of our car and us! If I ever need a tow, Im calling this company! It is now locked in my contacts! The only regret I have is that it took me a while to leave a long overdue review!!!!! read more

I called my car's warranty company to get me a tow truck and Discovery Bay they text me that this towing service will be there within an hour and a half I wait two hours and decide to call and Fernando on the phone tells me they never sent over the insurance email so they can't come pick it up well but I'm bothered by is why wouldn't Fernando pick up the phone to call me to tell me this instead of me waiting two hours to have nothing now I have to get back in the queue system to get another tow truck out to Discovery Bay which is going to take another hour When I called to talk to him I explain to him one simple phone call to me could've helped but he just seemed lazy and didn't care and it's very frustrating to me so now I have called back my towing service and told them to send anybody but this company and that's what they're doing and saying they will be here in 35 minutes read more

Tow truck driver kidnaped my step daughter. Someone else called a tow truck. Pizzagoni's tow truck showed up. Driver just opened the door and told her to get her things and get out of the vehicle. She told him that she did not call for a tow and that they were on their way. He told her that if she didn't get out, she would be removed. She said no, she didn't need or call a tow. He slammed the door and returned to his truck. She called me and while I was on the phone with her he just opened her door and yelled for her to keep her foot off the brakes. He then proceeded to lift the car from the front and tow her anyways with her in it. He set the car down a block and a half away, took a picture of the license plate and took off. When I arrived she was crying uncontrollably, shaking and ended up throwing up outside of the car. I called Pizzagoni's and the dispatch told me there wasn't a call for a tow. I told him what had happened. He stated that was impossible. I told him I can show him the video she took with her phone. I told him I can show it to him after I show the cops. So last night, after driving out to Tracy with my husband for dinner, we headed back home. It had begun to rain and my husband wasn't driving slower for the weather conditions - we came to a curve on West Bethel Rd and he went out of the lane into the shoulder, over corrected and spun out. The front of our car ended up over a canal type thing near Naglee & West Bethel. and our back tires were firmly packed into the mud. Great. We called AAA and they sent out Pizzagoni's Towing (Gary/Greg? was the guy who helped us out last night) In less than half an hour, we were on our way, driving back home. Wish I would've read the reviews earlier. But I was actually one of the customers that got ripped off. Paid $200 for less then a 2 mile drive, I was on the side of the road for a while. Told me an hour, took them over 2. On the island in the middle of the freeway, waiting for that long is just terrifying. I wish I would've researched more but I panicked and was desperately trying to get off the freeway. For those in the situation, I would just take advice from others. Look for a cheaper quote. This is just a huge ripoff. So frustrating to work full time, go to school full time to waste on expenses like these where people are just plain money hungry. Where do I start..... I guess Mr. Rudeness doesn't realize or doesn't care that being rude in a company truck these days can backfire, considering all the technology and social media outlets available to the public. Mr. Rudeness or otherwise known as Pizzagoni has never heard of the word "MERGE" before. Apparently he missed that question on the DMV drivers test. One would think an owner or driver of a tow truck co. with their name on it, would be a polite, law abiding driver. However, that's not the case with this smart Alec. Traffic was moving pretty slowly as I approached Hwy 4 from Hwy 680 heading to Antioch. I was "MERGING" onto Hwy 4 and waited for a gap until I could merger over. I found a gap (and almost always it's an "every other car" courtesy that most POLITE DRIVERS use to allow cars to MERGE ONTO the highway). But instead of allowing me to come into the gap, Mr. Rudeness accelerated trying to close the gap! Then he honked at me, scaring me with his obnoxious horn. I motioned out my window with my hands a merging gesture to show him what merging looked like, so he proceeds to get on his obnoxious loud speaker and say "I DON'T HAVE TO LET YOU MERGE IN!!! Aha! That's the key--he proved himself to be a rude obnoxious jerk! Even though it's the law, and apparently he is ignorant if it, that still leaves common courtesy and politeness which this ass knows nothing about! I will NEVER USE HIS SERVICES AND BEWARE! From making a call for service to getting my car towed the experience was positive. Very professional, courteous and not once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Before towing my car he asked was wrong with it to see if we can avoid the tow and aim for another solution, after troubleshooting and realizing tow was the only option, car was hitched and ready to go in minutes. After confirming that they would do the tow from Antioch to Oakley, be there in about an hour. We waited 45 minutes and received a call from the driver that he could not locate the street in Antioch. As we were giving them directions they announced that they could no longer do the tow cause they got another call!! Are you kidding me! It was 90 degrees out at 3 in that afternoon. I had no choice but to check around and contacted Cupertino towing, what a breath of fresh air, very professional and attentive. The charge, $110.00, almost half off. I had a very positive experience with Francisco and Pizzagoni's Towing. I broke down on Byron Hwy in the rain. I called Pizzagoni's and they had a truck to me within 30 minutes. Francisco made quick work of loading it up and getting to my house. He was even able to put it in my driveway as I'd requested. Overall a very smooth experience. If I could rate minus stars I would. I needed my car towed from Brentwood. I was told the truck would be there in 20 minutes, I waited 30 minutes and nothing. I called them three more times and they kept telling me that it was on its way, that it was delayed because of traffic. After waiting more than an hour or so I called a fourth time and was notified that the towing truck had not been sent. They really didn't have it available, that it was being serviced. Really??? I ended up calling for someone to come out . Francisco was my tow driver, he was great. I got into a minor fender bender and my car wouldn't start. Called many different tow companies and this place was the ONLY one who actually answered their phone at 5:30am. They were very friendly and sent MIke out to me right away! For being so early he was in a great mood and calmed me down. I had to be towed to Berkeley and he was more than happy to do it. My car wouldnt start and i called these guys to come tow me to a mechanic. The driver showed up and i guess jiggled the ignition a little and boom, it turned over. I guess the ignition was a little wonky and he made it work. Guess what, they didnt even charge me. We got stuck in the BJ's parking lot at Streets of Brentwood. When I called to arrange for the tow the dispatcher was calm and sympathetic and gave me an ETA of an hour. After waiting for almost an hour and half with no update I called and got the driver who explained he needed to switch trucks and would be on his way. Fernando, the driver was amazing and took care and patience with our vehicle. This place is a RIP OFF and they are typical scum that does not care about customer service. The dispatchers are extremely rude, especially weekend and after hours. They are difficult to do business with, whether on the phone or in person. Make sure you don't go here during lunch hours, if the owners are not onsite, the manager(s) and employees will make you wait until their lunch is over before they will assist as you wait at the window. When they finally are back just pray the phone doesn't ring, they do not put calls on hold for walk in customers. Less than 5 minutes of business took me almost 90 minutes and a total bill of $143 for a 5 city block tow (less than 1/2 mile) With all of the competition in business and our economy today it is very unfortunate a so called "professional services business" such as Pizzagoni's Towing is even still in the mix. Especially when you have a real professional such as R Lance, close by and ready to actually assist and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is delivered. read more

Called for a tow from Antioch dealership to another mechanic (in Brentwood). Got a HUGE run around attempting to pay by phone. Faxed form but couldn't include photo copy of DL and credit card. Offered to email or text a pic, but that wasn't acceptable. Talk about working hard to pay someone for an over priced service. Ended up with another company, 30% less and 3 minutes on phone. Bigger isn't always better when Bill the "service" guy is more interested in procedure than actually providing service. To top it off, the phone hold recording explains "your satisfaction is our goal." What a load of bull. Steer clear! read more

It there was a negative star rating, that's what I would give Pizzagoni's. They are a rip off!!!! I called Esurance, my insurance carrier to have my car towed from my home in Antioch to my mechanic, a total of 1.2 miles. This company called me to arrange for the pick up and told me the tow would be $130. I have tow coverage for $75.00, so there would be a $55 out of pocket charge. Mind you, I had this same car towed from Concord to Antioch a couple of months ago and there was no out of pocket charge. I told Pizzagoni's to forget it and called back Esurance to let them know what this company was charging me and they were appalled as I was. They immediately arranged for another tow company to tow it at no out of pocket charge. Pizzagoni's $130 for 1.2 miles?? You are ripping people off, my recommendation is stay away from Pizzagoni's unless you like throwing money away. I also filed a complaint with Esurance and hope that they stop using them as a tow service provider. read more

I needed a tow in Brentwood, CA near Pizzagoni. They said they would be there in 45 minutes. I called after an hour and they said they got called on another tow and would not be coming. They didn't bother to let me know, they let me sit for an hour until I called them. In summary if you need a tow don't bother calling them, they won't show or call. read more

I broke down on Vasco Rd. just south of Balfour. Insurance company arranged for a tow back to Pleasanton. They called Pizzagoni's and i'm glad they did. My driver showed up within 10 minutes and was very careful loading my BMW which is very low in the front. After dropping my car off at a place further than originally paid for, he then took the time to give me a ride home at no extra cost. His truck was almost new and really clean. Nice experience when you're a little upside down from being stranded on the side of the road with a broken car. I highly recommend this company for any roadside service. read more

Borrowed my d.in.law's truck to go to Raley's on LoneTree Way in Antioch. When I came out, truck would not start. I immediately became nervous not knowing whether I was in Antioch or Pittsburg, whether I was in a safe area or not. I called Pizzagoni's and they arrived w/in 15 minutes. (so sorry I don't remember your name). He looked the truck over, and speculated that the fuel pump had gone out. Because the truck was 4 wheel, he had to send a flatbed out and that was Steve. Both of these men attempted to assess the problem, made sure I was safe, very professional, and very friendly.
