Finally! I had a great experience calling a tow company for my stranded car by the form of AutoFox Towing. My clutch slave cylinder popped, relegating shifting impossible. I called a bunch of towing companies around the area. Either they can come to my aid at a relatively short time for a ridiculous amount or come and a ridiculous amount of time for a relatively sane amount of fee. AutoFox Towing straddles in between, with an ETA of about an hour and a half form Pittsburg to Brentwood. They came much earlier at 45 minuities which was great. What's really even better was that me and the driver had a great time chit chatting as we drive towards my place. Food was in the discussion and we hit it off; talking about where are the great spots for good food the the Tri-Delta. Great company- I was stuck off the freeway in not a great location near Lafayette and phoned 4 towing companies. AAA would not assist unless I pay a reinstatement fee of $75.00 then there was a 24 hour wait time, as my aaa had just expired. Ended up cancelling my aaa insurance and roadside service due to their rudeness. Who was the most professional was AutoFox Towing. The owner called right back and offered to assist me asap. He left the Pittsburg /Antioch area to assist me. He was quick, efficient and effective. I had expected to be on the side of the road waiting for an Uber as AAA would not allow me to ride in the tow truck. AutoFox is reasonable price, and very professionally and took me to my mechanic then drove me home. Both were a reasonable distance. I will definitely call them again when I need a tow. Oscar is a good man and he does great service. I had a nail stuck in my front tire and just found out after some time so it was flat inside the garage. I rolled the car out so it'll be easier to get it on the truck bed but then the tire popped out so Oscar had me stop. He lifted the car, pulled the tire back into the rim and pumped some air into it so it temporarily is able to get into the truck. He even reminded me of the wheel lock and he was able to find it for me. I thought that was very attentive of him. I agree with the other yelp review, we need more Oscars in this world. We all hope to never have the need to use a towing service but if we ever need one again, Oscar is the go-to person. read more

I was stressed trying to find a reasonable priced tow for my vehicle (which was in an accident and couldn't even roll) and I called these guys after looking at tons of others and they hit me with the best price I've heard all damn day! They even were straight up and honest "we aren't the cheapest and we aren't the most expensive but please shop around and you'll see how our prices match up" I of course kept my ego of I'll find better and called 4 more places and got price that were literally double what Auto Fox quoted me. I immediately came back and they kept my initial quote and towed my vehicle and delivered to my house with the most professionalism! As you can see one wheel was cracked and no tire so I feared my garage flooring being damaged but of course they dropped the vehicle with such care and precision their wasn't even a single scratch on my floor. I used Autofox towing to get an old Porsche I'd been working on to a place for a brake and lamp check, and then to a CHP station for a VIN inspection. Both times they called ahead to confirm when they'd be picking my car up, and they arrived right on time. The trucks were clean and well maintained, and the drivers were very professional and nice. There's some shady people out there in the tow business, so finding this company was a nice treat. I should also say they were very careful about where and how to pull the car up the ramp, and securing it once it was in place. European cars can be kind of 'stupid' to deal with in this respect, but their careful handling left it without a scratch. I'll definitely keep their number handy for any future needs. read more

They were in the middle of another tow job and informed me of what the wait would be. They checked back often and kept me informed while I waited.
