Service was great and even though our order took longer then stated the restaurant updated us which make the service top notch. We ordered La Caprese Pizza, Lasagna pizza, and cheese pizza. We are new to the area and have recently gotten stuck on Pizza Viola on A1A in Cocoa Beach. I swear, every time we go it gets better and better!! The crust is always puffy, chewy and just the right amount of char, they use the most delicious seasoned mushrooms and they always have the little garlic shaker, herb shaker & hot peppers out. The first few times we went I ordered a veggie Stromboli & then I graduated to ordering pizza with no cheese (because of my eating preferences) -this time I brought a sealed new bag of plant based cheese and they were kind enough to use it on my pizza!! It has been SO LONG since I had a pizza with "cheese" on it and it was so delicious I almost cried!! It can be difficult to eat out as a vegan, so finding a friendly place like this means literally the world to me. I usually end up just ordering French fries, but I don't have to do that here!! The pizza chef always has a fun little story or anecdotal joke to tell and he is always in the friendliest mood, we love him! FANTASTIC!!! I flew down from Boston for my annual PizzaVola fix!!! Amazing food tonight and the service was top notch!!!

I work at a major resort chain in Cape Canaveral, and just got a delivery from the rudest most vulgar driver I've ever encountered. This guy got lost in what is a fairly simple spot to find. When he called, i pointed out that the directions were right on the order. He responded "don't be so rude," and hung up on me. When he came in with the pie he was nothing but F-bombs. "F**k YOU!" "F**K THAT!" "I DON'T GIVE A F**K!" Literally had to call security to have him removed from the lobby. They then had to threaten to call the Sheriff's office to get him to leave. I order from these guys and recommend them to my guests. No more Pizza Vole. No more. read more

I had been browsing this places yelp photos before I ordered and I had at first been negative about what I wanted to order because the portion sizes had looked small. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the garlic knots and salad which were very good. The surprise hero of the night was the Garlic Knots, They were very amazing and I highly recommend them. They were very nicely covered in olive oil, a hint sweet, before being overtaken by the cheesy savoriness of the parmesan crumble. I ordered the Stromboli and I was surprised by the massive Stromboli which had just been placed in front of me. I recommend the crispy style Stromboli. The onions, green pepper, and meats were a great combination, held together by a very fresh tasting cheese. I think it was very well worth my money and I thought the tables, plates, and ambiance was better than most upper scale restaurants. 5stars! Just ordered a Calzone off Uber eats. The menu on Uber eats does not allow you to add any meat to the calzone. So we called Pizza Vola and explained the situation to them, I told them I would be happy to pay more. The young lady said she had told the kitchen to add ham to the calzone. When it got here the calzone was plain cheese, no meat. Big surprise, maybe next time just be honest and tell me, we are not going to add it, we are too busy to do this, or I am too lazy to do this, instead of lying to me and telling me it's taken care of. read more

We were visiting Cocoa Beach, drove by this place and decided to place an online order. It's a small restaurant and they seemed understaffed so be prepared to wait a long time (an hour or more for us). I'm so happy we waited though because the pizza was truly one of the best we've had! Definitely worth the wait if you have time to spare. The staff was inundated with orders but were very friendly regardless. As one of the other reviews mentioned, the garlic knots are tough and were a bit disappointed but the pizza totally made up for it! read more

We moved to MI in March and this has been our go to pizza place. Service tonight was HORRIBLE! Pick up ordered pizza ready but pasta wasn't. Said 5 more minutes but 30 minutes later still didn't have it. Asked for money back and cancel order and they said wait pasta is coming. I know wedge salad, but the dressing is wonderful with plenty of bleu cheese bits and the bacon is hot off the griddle and fresh iceberg. A few tomatoes and an all around great appetizer. Something odd... maybe even suspect... a trend that I've noticed over the course of my visits. I've gone there several times in the past few months for lunch. Eight bucks for two slices of pizza and a drink. Not bad. What's bad is paying. If you pay with a card, they tack on a 2.83% "convenience fee" which personally I think is BS since hey... just like utilities, rent/mortgage, etc., YOU paying YOUR credit card processor fee is just one of the costs of doing business! Publix, Walmart, airlines, gas stations, etc.; none of them tack on an extra fee for using plastic. Why? Because it's their cost of doing business. Anyway, each and every time that I've been there I've paid with cash (I'm not paying their fees for them). And each and every time they've had no ability (money) to make change. The staff is literally digging in their own pockets to come up with change. Granted - a couple of times they shorted themselves by giving me back the nearest whole dollar amount above what was actually due back to me, but the majority of the time I'm the one that got shorted. On an $8 tab, with tax, is $8.56. Give them a ten dollar bill and I should get back $1.44 but only got back the $1. Give them a twenty dollar bill and I should get back $11.44 but only got back the $11. Just seems consistently odd. No, losing forty-four cents doesn't impact me. Not in the least. So it's not a matter of the actual money amount. It's the principle of the matter, pure and simple. If you're going to charge a fee to use a credit/debit card, then at least have and provide your staff with the proper sums and denominations of money so they can make change back to the people paying cash! Unless of course the intent is something sketchy and nefarious... like, oh, I don't know... ringing out a few extra cents here and there - one by one - bit by bit, which throughout the course of the day when combined with all the other cash-paying customers can add up. read more

We love the white pizza at PizzaVola. The only difficulty is ordering using the app. I wish you could just call and order over the phone. I accidentally ordered too many pizzas and it took 30 minutes to place the order (we are here for one week a year and always struggle to order online). But the pizza is fabulous. We also got a buffalo pizza and a caprese pizza. These were good too, but not as good as the white pizza. Next year I'll do all white pizzas (if I can figure out how to order online). read more

It took a few minutes to get seated although the restaurant was empty. High quality food, well put together, and overall a great taste in every single dish. The Lasagna was fantastic, the red sauce was delicious and the food was piping hot on arrival. The spinach was set in a slight water/oil pool, but it was flavorful enough to dip in and enjoy. Salad and garlic rolls, you can mess this up, but not here. Finally, I ordered a chocolate cannoli. It was so good, I ate it too fast before realizing I forgot to snap a photo. The only issue I had with my order was the delay in delivery (most likely due to a rocket launch crowd surge). We stopped by for dinner last week while on vacation. Our two (very) picky eaters told us it was the best pizza they had ever had! They are not huge sauce kids and we always order "light sauce" for them. Their pizzas had the perfect amount of sauce. My pizza was delicious! I had a personal pizza with banana peppers, black olives, & pineapple If youre in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by! Every staff member we interacted with was super nice, but our waitress (her name escapes me!) went above and beyond. I noticed my ring finger had swollen due to climate to the point that I could not remove my wedding ring and I was starting to freak out. She went to the kitchen and brought back olive oil to help try to slide my ring off. Didn't work. Then she brought back dish soap, and finally after a few tugs.. it finally slid off. I really think that if I hadn't gotten it off when I did, I would've been headed to the hospital to have it cut off. She literally saved my finger and ring!
