If you have read any of of my other posts, you know I never do this, and I don't know any of the staff. I have tried 100 restaurants in this area both in house and take out or delivery. Most restaurants are not good at take out even though in house is great. Especially those who try multi-ethnic dishes and do not stick to one thing. This restaurant does Indian, Chinese, AND seafood...and they do it with expertise. From the outside this place is VERY underrated and you wonder why some of the food is a little pricey. The fact is, the caliber of the food coming from this place should be in a big fancy restaurant. This is truly a gem in the cape canaveral area. I ordered Indian food to be delivered through Uber Eats here before and loved it. So we ordered various things from the menu to taste and ordered to go. We had the lobster thermidor, calamari, chicken wings (honey mustard), lamb rack, roasted garlic potatoes, Mac n cheese, veggies, and risotto with shrimp and asparagus. We have been to some pretty fancy restaurants and I'm here to tell you, there is an amazing chef behind these dishes. They are so well thought out and even take out is presented in artistic tasteful, complimentary fashion. When I called, they told me they would call 15 mins before the food was done. They were true to their word ensuring the food was hot and fresh. When I got there, there showed me each dish before bagging it to make sure I git exactly what I wanted. I saw fresh Italian basil leaves and cuts of lemon complicating various dishes. It wasn't just thrown together. These are special touches for takeout. Clearly the chef cares about presentation and complimentary garnish to the dish. Someone should invest in this and help them expand to handle more customers. Everything we had was amazing. The lobster was fresh and abundant topped with a rich, complex sauce, topped with fresh real oven bronzed cheese. It wasn't drenched in butter sauce, and you could really tell you were eating lobster and not a bunch of filler. Then the calamari was crisp and not overpowered with breading. The wings were served with sauce on the side. We respected that because we asked for extra crispy and if they would have drenched it in sauce, it wouldn't have come that way. The lamb rack came with 5 pieces of plump lamb easily peeled from the bone. So juicy and tender with the perfect sweet savory sauce coating every bite. The Mac n cheese was like mamma used to make. You could tell that creaminess had real cheeses baked in. The veggies were the perfect tenderness with a hint of butter and salt. And for the last dish...the risotto. I am a second generation Italian very well versed in Risotto. When I tell you this tasted like it was cooked for hours simmering in creamy, melt in your mouth goodness that makes you wanna overdose on this stuff???? Well, you have to try it to believe it. I could not have done better myself. The thing about this place is despite its humble look, someone behind the scenes is passionate about every dish going out the door and cares about the people they are serving. I probably won't eat in house, but only because it doesn't match the caliber of your dishes and I would want to dress up on a date for it in a quiet, dim lit romantic atmosphere with wine...which you also sell. Trust me, we will take out many more times from here to eat by candlelight at home. Many blessings to the chef and staff. I hope you make it big and we know where you go next! Lucky find on christams day for dinner! Was packed and for good reason, food is delicious! Was skeptical as the place serves pasta/ risotto/ Indian/ Chinese/ Japanese and Thai, quite a variety to get everything right. But the Hakka noodles and panang curry were both delicious! Definitely would go with medium spicy as the mild was definitely mild/ kids had no problems with the spice level. The place has unique/ tropical decor. Decent parking and outdoor and indoor seating. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area, very close to the ports/ cruise ship departures/ arrrivals. read more

The young ladies who were working were very sweet and did a great job. The food was mediocre. My shrimp was fine but my husbands Chicken Marsala was terrible. It didn't even resemble Marsala. Great service and good pricing. Get one of the Asian dishes for sure. Note that the spice is a lot less intense than if you were ordering Thai food: I got hot and felt it fell between mild and medium. Inside, there are some random trinkets and a wagon, so the theme of the place wasn't clear to me. Again, go there for the food. read more

Amazingly good food in Cape Canaveral. We are here on vacation and were pleased to find a spot with all kinds of food. The Indian food is great. We had the Goat Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken and Lamb Biryani. The Naan is also freshly made. Big shout out to the Samosas. read more

Thai curries were excellent and so was the service. We will definitely return. They also have Indian food and we will try that next.

We ordered delivery so can only speak on the food. Loved the vegan options as almost everything on the menu could be made vegan by just choosing a plant based protein or just veggies. We got the fried rice with tofu and added a note for no egg. Also got the massaman curry with tofu and cashew tofu. Everything was great! I really enjoyed the massaman. I was a little skeptical of this many styles of food, but it turned out they were all delicious. My ten year old had the dumplings and loved them. My wife got the Chana masala loved it. I got both the red curry and the Japanese eggplant which were both delicious, and my older son got the butter tofu and loved it. We'll be back. Great food! I posted this on another site and am reposting here (with edits) because I think so highly of this family-run start up after coming here a third time. Great food, super friendly and helpful staff, cool vibe. What more could you ask for from a joint named Sassy Spoon? The breakfast burrito and home fries were cooked to perfection and the iced latte was so much better than Starbucks. Came back for dinner and Goat Rogan Josh, a stewed goat over rice that was tender, juicy, flavorful and appealing to the eye, with just the right amount of heat (I ordered medium and it made my eyes water and my nose run but wasn't painful and didn't detract from the flavor in the least = perfect!). This place is the real deal, a local gem that really delivers. And no, I have no connection to the business. I'm an out of town business traveler, who saw Sassy Spoon on the web and gave them a try. I had a lovely time at this hidden gem and the two servicing were super lovely and quick for how much the party ordered. I had a fresh order of Goat Rogan Josh and Garlic Naan- way above your normal. Quite the selection of food, very impressive. All orders are made from scratch so have some patience. But it will be worth it. The service was exceptional and the outdoor seating was nice with shade and sunny spots available. Both the salmon salad and shrimp salad were excellent. I gave this restaurant a 5 last time I went, but this time I had to knock it down a few stars. The service was extremely slow. He seemed to bothered by the fact that we didn't wanna sit by the door, even though we're the only people in the restaurant. he gave us the menus and disappeared. Then when he did come back he just stood behind the counter. We just waited and waited till I finally had to tell him we were ready to order the food took about 45 minutes which I understand it's made fresh, but it was quite a bit longer than last time and he kept apologizing that it was so long even though we were the only people in the restaurant. The food was good. The portions were a little small for $20 an entrée it was I ordered the curry and you just get curry and a small scoop of rice no non-or anything else it is $18 if you don't add a protein, but just chicken was an additional two dollars. the waiter/owner really doesn't have any sense of being a waiter. He should probably just stick to a piece to cooking and hire a waiter that has experience. Didn't ask us if we wanted anything to drink didn't bring us extra napkins. Didn't check to see if everything was OK. Seemed a little odd. Probably won't be going back even though I enjoyed the food. read more
