Most of all the generous portion sizes and great customer service measure out a place to be at the beach... We all had different seafood platters which had a varying food display with a health portion of fresh fried food. The Grouper, excellent texture and taste unmatched. The Fried clam strips were more than a mouthful, more than a handful...Let's Try a wheel barrel full. The bisque was creamy and smooth with chunks of seafood. It is crazy...How much can fit on 1 plate. Don't fall asleep on the couch after the beach...Get your shower, put your after sun lotion on and get to Arthur's. PS- the only less than measure was the tartar sauce- the consistency was too thin and needed more pickle. Oh and yes They Have BEER. Have a great memorial day.

This place is very small, but we went earlier in the day for dinner and we sat right away. The drinks are great, hushpuppies are to die for, and the seafood platters are so delicious. The service we get is always top-tier as well. Truly a one of a kind spot, please stop here if you are looking for good food. The fried shrimp dinner is my personal favorite!

This was not our first visit to Trio but was the most disappointing. My friend and I ordered the…read moresame thing, the soup of the day , fish stew, and Quinoa salad with greens, tomatoes and mozzarella balls. The soup was $9 a cup and the bowl$19! Neither one was worth the money. Everything is expensive anymore when you eat out, I don't mind paying if the food is good. The soup had no signs of fish or seafood in either serving. It tasted like a spicy vegetable soup. It was good but no fish and not worth $9. The Quinoa bowl was average, tomatoes were spongy and tasteless and 3-4 pearl mozzarella balls. How is that $19? Very disappointing. I gave 1 star for our wine and our waitress Emily did an awesome job. She was prompt and took care of all the tables in the dining room. She did a fantastic job ensuring we had everything we needed. It wasn't her fault for the food. We are both locals and wanted a girl lunch, and appreciate the challenges restaurants face. Trio is always busy So not sure why today's food was so poor. I still bought wine at the store, again great shop.

It's off season so getting table at lunch was easy. Staff seated us and took our order quickly. They were super friendly and gave us the "pointers" on food( no lettuce or tomatoe here). Draft beer and cocktails available. Food was super delicious and not overly gigantic. Our burgers were grilled perfectly with just a minimum amount of condiments(.50) for shrooms, grilled onions and mayo(yup, mayo costs money). The tots are a seasonal thing so I got that. Delicious as tots are usually a staple in my diet. Sodas are free refills and our server even gave me a to-go cup. I live a refreshing fountain soda. The indoor dining area has lots of beach themed decor. There is a full bar at the front. I think on the weekends and summer season they also have outdoor music.

It has been far too long since we visited Goombay's. We went in to see if their calamari and…read moreburgers were still what we remembered and ended up with items from the daily list of lunch specials. Ms T chose the flounder sandwich, which was nicely done with shredded lettuce and tomato with a very good tangy, creamy sauce. I had an oyster basket with slaw. I am not an oyster expert, but these were sweet, mild and clearly fresh. They were coated lightly and fried perfectly so they were tender. Goombay's serves 50 caliber French fries which are not always well prepared, but in this case, they were excellent, creamy inside, not dry or half burned. They have a little of the ubiquitous potato varnish as a coating, but it is light. I ate way more than I needed. The slaw was also a good sweet/tart version, which is my choice. All in all, this was a great lunch at an old favorite place. I left wondering why it took us so long to get back. Hopefully we can work them into our busy lunch schedule again when we return in the Fall.
