About 9 pizzas, several.side orders and a couple of salads to choose from. Everything was great and the pizza was excellent. A good cross of traditional Italian style with virgin olive oil and / or marinara sauce. Once the pizza is selected, it is immediately made in front of you behind a glass separator (Subway rest like) and then popped in a hot brick oven. My meal arrived to my table in 4-5 minutes, tops. We picked up pizza's from the Pizzeria Limone in Sandy for dinner. We order a Pera and a pepperoni. Got home and opened the boxes to no pepperoni. Not sure where the mix up was but the husband was pretty disappointed. I have a hard time getting him to go there because the pizza is too fancy for his taste and with that mix up I doubt we will be able to go back together. I LOVED the Pera though. Pears and pistachios on a pizza is definitely my jam! I also love the crusta formaggio but make sure you order it with a side of their marinara. They put cheese in it and heat it up. I have been eating here once a week since they opened and haven't left a review yet. To keep it simple, i haven't had a bad experience and haven't been blown away but do think it's a nice change every now & then from some of the other pizza places I visit frequently. I think it tastes about what you would think it would judging from the pictures. Don't think this is the best place to take a Family, I believe this for the price it would be to feed a family several $10 personal pizzas (including drinks) but also the toppings/tastes seems to be for a more mature palate. For a simple date probably a safe option. For a family, maybe a place where you can share a larger pizza would suit you better. (Just a heads up though not the most comfortable chairs or tables. I'm boring and always order the pepperoni or the favo, basically a glorified pepperoni with double the pepperoni and some pepper-honey glaze, and let me tell you, they're awesome! This is a review of the Pizzeria Limone located on 114th and State Street in Sandy. My wife and I decided to go to this restaurant because as Italians, we love pizza. Also, because the name of the restaurant is in Italian we thought we would be getting authentic Italian pizza. Upon entering, we discovered that you get in line and actually build your own pizza and pay at the end. There were a variety of different toppings and sauces to choose from. We thought this was a cool idea in concept; however, this led to there being a line that did not move very quickly. Because of this, my wife and I decided to order a typical pizza to speed up the process. We ordered the Caprese pizza and the baker suggested we take a seat and that they would our pizza to us. The restaurant décor is clean, modern Italian with an open floor plan and big arched windows. It is family style seating and the music was a nice mix of classic Italian songs and modern day singers. Overall, the ambience was nice and casual we also enjoyed that they had a nice selection of imported Italian drinks. We had are favorite San Pellegrino sparkling water and Limonata (lemonade). Because of the line our food took more time than expected. When the pizza was finally brought to us we were suddenly hit with the strong smell of the balsamic vinegar used on the pizza. The baker had been so heavy handed with it, that it was actually stinging our eyes. This made the pizza difficult to eat and hard to taste the other ingredients. At this point, my wife and I were very hungry and decided to eat around the parts that had too much vinegar. The crust was indeed thin like typical Italian pizza but lacked flavor. Though the ingredients used where fresh it was to hard enjoy them because of the vinegar. In conclusion, because of the wait time and the almost inedible pizza, it was an all around a bad experience and I would give Pizzeria Limone 2 stars. However, the staff was kind and the actual restaurant had a nice feel about it. Maybe the bad pizza could be pin pointed to that one baker and might have been better if someone else had prepared it. However, as the Caprese pizza is one of their best seller the staff should be knowledgeable how to prepare it correctly. read more

Let me preface: this pizza is quite good. I would give the pizza itself 4 1/2 stars. The issue is with the quality of its service. I have managed call centers and restaurants alike and a positive spin on quality was always necessary. The people working there at 2 in the afternoon look like they hate their jobs and hate being there. I barely got a "hello" when I walked in and more of an immediate "what do you want so I can be done with you" kind of vibe. When I left here I left missing the pizza. There were 3 of us. I got a simple pepperoni, my brother got the verdure and his girlfriend got the viola. None of us could stop talking about how fantastic the pizza is. Let's break down their customer service: 1) the first person you see is the person who will take your order and prep your pizza. This particular person looked bored and portrayed how they felt. I didn't feel welcomed or invited at all. I felt as if they wanted me to leave. (There were others along the pizza line but I had no interaction with them). 2) the person at the register just stood there waiting for us to make our way down. Since we were paying separate we told him which was which and it looked like we had interrupted his favorite television show when we gave him what our orders were out of the order they were taken. (I want you to realize we were the ONLY ones ordering at the time with plenty of dead time in between the people before and after us) 3) we were going back home to eat pizza. But not once did they ask "to stay or to go" they just assumed we were staying. When we told them it was to go, the person cutting our pizza looked beyond annoyed. They also didn't know how to cut pizza evenly. Now the pizza 1) PHENOMENAL flavor. I highly recommend their pizza. The flavored meld really well and their cheese is fresh and delicious. 2) their crust is crisp and not overtly floury. Brick oven cooked pizza holds a special place in my heart. So if you don't like the flavor I would stay away. Overall: I gave this place 2 stars. I would be more than happy to bump it up to four stars if their service wasn't absolute s***. If you don't care about how a restaurant makes you feel, I highly recommend this place. However if you value the customer experience, I give you this warning: go in expecting them to be annoyed and aggravated with anything and everything you do. read more

I have always loved my meals from Pizzeria Limone. The salads are delicious., the Tre Sorelle is my favorite! The pizzas are authentic, and so good. Today's meal, unfortunately, didn't hold up to what I have experienced in the past. While the salads were still amazing, our pizza was saturated in balsamic vinegar, making the normally crispy crust hard to chew. When we asked about the vinegar, we were told this was the normal way this location makes it. The location in Fort Union has never served me this type of pizza. This is the place to go to get fresh Italian pizza. They have a great Menu and you'll find something for everyone. Salads are good, but ask for dressing on the side because they load it up. Had too much dressing on my last salad and they gave me a new one happily:) always fast and clean. read more

With the first bite of the Caprese pizza I was taken back to standing next to the Colosseum in Rome, Italy where I experienced my first authentic Italian pizza. The crust on the pizza is thin and crisp and served hot from an authentic brick oven. The service is quick both with take-out and dine-in. All the pizzas on the menu pair unique flavors that keep you wanting more. The salad that brings me back is the Tre Sorelle salad due to the delicious treats; red onions, parmigiana region, blackberries, peer, pistachios and fresh basil. The staff at the time of our visit was so welcoming and offered several suggestions for us newbies. Never in my life would I have thought a pear pizza would be good but the Pera was spot on. Pears combined with basil and prosciutto were the perfect ingredients. The pizza was amazing. My wife tried the Limone salad and was completely impressed. The ambience was casual and quiet and the service was quick as well as knowledgeable. Our pizza was hand crafted in front of us, cooked, and served in less than ten minutes. If I could only judge the pizza, it would be a 5 star review. My pizza was done perfectly, looked and tasted amazing. But the employees at this location need help with time management and common courtesy. I placed an order over the phone to be picked up on 9/17/2020 at 7:30pm. I was told it would be a 20-25 minute wait. 27 minutes after my order was placed I went in to pick it up. After I paid, I was told by the young lady that she would go get my order, but she came back empty handed and said it would be another 10 mins as my order was just being started. Now that it had been 30 mins since my order was placed, I was a little surprised and said "Oh, I was told 20-25 minutes." She responded curtly "Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it." I replied "Okay" and went to wait in my car. After 10 minutes, I came back in and was told it would be another 6 minutes because my order was still in the oven. The same young lady shrugged me off like it was no big deal. I was finally sent on my way, with pizza in hand at 8:21pm. Almost a full hour after I placed my order. While the restaurant didn't look particularly busy, there were several food delivery people coming in and out to pick up orders without waiting. So, one of two things happened. Either the employee taking phone orders misjudged the amount of time it would take them to create a pizza to be picked up. Or (and this is what I believe happened) the employees prioritize food delivery service orders over other orders instead of just making the pizzas in the order they come in. Please, don't offer a service if you can't follow through in a timely manner. read more

I'm from Chicago and I know pizza pretty well. There are so many designer pizza places these days who claim to have the best artisan pizza. I'm here to say that this is one of the best ones I've tried. The crust is good, the ingredients are great! I definitely recommend this place any day. When visiting, make sure you ask for Maria, who make awesome recommendations about which pizza to try. I denied her when she recommended the Viola (not sure I wanted pizza with blackberries and prosciutto). She made me an awesome pepperoni pizza and then brought me a slice of the Viola to try. The atmosphere was lovely, modern, rustic but very clean, simple and elegant, relaxing yet energizing. We adored the pizza oven with its glass tiles on the surrounding wall. The music was an eclectic blend of soft alternative rock. We got the Margherita Napoli, the Caprese, and the salsiccia. The Caprese is our absolute favorite and probably the best we've EVER had. And we know pizza, we had it for our wedding we love it so much! The tomatoes fresh, the cheese perfectly melted, the sauces were so savory and rich, the crust was a thin crust but totally puffy and mmmm-fire grilled. Oh it was so delicious! We didn't want to get a "basic" ..although, I'm not sure these guys are capable of making a simple basic n boring anything! ...cheese pizza for kids so we got the Margherita Napoli for them and they chowed it down! So even though this isn't your standard pizza, it can still be kid friendly. I cannot believe how fast those pizzas came out when they were so gourmet! To pair with our incredible pizza we guzzled down their basil, blackberry, Sicilian pear lemonade. It was to die for! The most refreshing drink after a long summer day. Their brownie was decadent, thick, creamy, chocolate on top a soft, slightly chewy brownie with a thin layer of sweet creamy lemony frosting. Staff was wonderful and all smiles.
