Appetizer portion of fried clams, listed as "Market Price" on menu.....but WTF, I wasn't expecting $41 for a handful of fried clams.

I've been a fan from the beginning back when Chef Mike had a food truck...the first couple years of Ruby was amazing! Unfortunately it's been downhill since. He's losing his touch and letting his success go to his head. The food/pizza has become mid at best. Their political views have become the center stage of his business, not the food. The experience dining in has declined, extremely loud, sometimes vulgar/offensive music. I would say this has become a non kid-friendly environment. Pricing has climbed up to gouging levels. Most recently I ordered the Fried Clams app. Listed as Market Price, I assumed it would be upper $20's, worse case maybe low 30s? BUT $41 IS A LITTLE OVERPRICED! especially when I can go over to Bentonville to blu (who flies in fresh seafood from New England weekly) and get clams for half that price. Meredith and Mike need to come back down to earth and humble themselves... otherwise their arrogance and price gouging will catch up to them one day...don't ruin a good thing you have going.

Came to the NWA for my first time and glad to come across a memorable restaurant that stands it's ground to other pizza restaurants in the country! People rave about this place and I have come to understand why, as if I lived here I would definitely frequent often too. The wait time was 2 hours for a party of 2, but glad to be able to put my name online and not have to wait for longer than 20 min when we came closer to seating time. The inside is small and cozy, with a lot of TVs to play the sports games and many people getting takeout orders, which is another option if you can't wait. We ordered pizza, pasta, and ice cream to get a taste of the whole offerings: 6/5 Vodka pie was the star, the right crisp as well as great flavor. I was surprised that this is one of the pizzas that still tasted so good after a few days, with just a microwave 5/5 Pistachio Alfredo was unique but the flavors worked. I am glad they stayed true to an Alfredo and gave it that cheesy creamy richness, while having fresh nuts as well. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente 3/5 Strawberry "gelato" was not a gelato, it's a glorified soft serve. Don't let them fool you, but still a nice dessert! I would 100% visit this place every time I'm in the area, though I'm not sure how frequently I would visit. But at least I know I have a favorite restaurant in the area!

We have been wanting to try Pizzeria Ruby for a while and finally did. The restaurant is very small inside with limited seating so not it makes sense why it is always on a wait. Pizza was delicious! Crust was delicious and perfect combo of crunchy and thin. Toppings were fresh and done evenly. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was to he service was incredibly slow and its cashless. Next time we will just order take out and sit outside.

I've gotten nonstop recommendations to visit Pizzeria Ruby since moving here and it did not disappoint! I tried to come before but there was a 2 hour wait and I was starving but this time around I got there a little early and there was bar seating (yay!) It's such a cute classic pizzeria. The staff was super sweet and in such a good mood. I had the vodka pasta and a cream soda, both of which are delish. While everyone recommended this place for the pizza (which I will def try next time), the pasta is soooo good!

I have been hearing things about this pizza place for a while now. Just so happened that we were able to stop by on our recent trip to NWA. Friday at 1:30 we had about a 25 min wait for a table. Once seated we were promptly greeted by our server who got us drinks and took our order. We ordered the North End pizza and I got a Caesar side salad. Side salad packed a flavor punch. You could tell the caeser dressing was fresh. The saltiness from the anchovies punched you in the face. Probably one of the best side salads I have eaten. ( I know what you are thinking....who rates their side salad!) Pizza came out hot and looked good. Biggest negative was the charred the top of the crust a little to much. Made the crust bitter. Overall the pizza was good. Fresh sauce, tasty ricotta cheese, large meatballs. The pizza would have sealed the 5 star review if it wasn't for the burnt crust. Look forward to my next visit when we head up to NWA again.

After moving here two months ago, so happy to find the best pizza ever! Perfect crust, fresh sauce, and I love the way they shave garlic on it! That with house-made Italian sausage and castelvelrano green olives, plus red house wine, I'm in heaven!

One of the best restaurants in Arkansas. Pizza that rivals John's on Bleecker Street in NYC. Best Italian sausage on the planet. Almost all the dishes are flawless and done with endless care. Chef and entire staff are forces for good in Northwest Arkansas. Six stars.

    Great cheese pizza with Daughter!

So I wrote a review for this restaurant which is still available to read. The owner replied with an argument that it was a fake review. I'm guessing that's their standard response as to any review that doesn't like them. I made reference to hygiene issues and if the owner looks thru their reviews on other pages they will see I am not the only one who has referenced this issue. But, in response to the argument that it was a fake review I am attaching my credit card bill to this review. I'm sure, however, the owner will have another argument as to the impossibility that this place is anything but stellar.

Great food, get on the waitlist several days if you know you will be in the area. Cute place, good vibe. Great food.

    Italian Chopped Salad.

Wait time are long but the food is good! Several different pizzas for our family and they were all very good. Italian Chopped Salad was good and is a huge salad. Enough salad for 3 people. It is a very popular place and could use a much bigger location. It is very loud but it ads to the atmosphere.

    Cool taps!

The staff was so friendly. I felt comfortable and welcomed. The ambiance is open. Everyone was happy and smiling. We ordered the pizza for someone else. I ordered a cherry cream soda. But, the drinks and the service were awesome.

Fried artichokes + pistachio Alfredo + chopped salad!

Good pizza. Ridiculous prices. Over $70 for two, TWO! Pizzas. I've eaten pizza in the North End of Boston for way less.

Ask the Community - Pizzeria Ruby

Pizzeria Ruby's online reservation form only offers hours during during lunchtime / early afternoon and late evening hours (9:00 and later). Do they not accept reservations in late afternoon and early evenings / dinnertime hours?

No- there is a gap on purpose. Pizzeria Ruby doesn't take reservations during certain hours.

Are there gluten free options outside of salads?

I saw Chef Michael answer this on FB or something... I'm paraphrasing here, but this was the gist of his statement: "We can't be GF because there is flour EVERYWHERE, so it is impossible to ensure there is no cross contamination."

Now, I have to admit... finding the place was PART of the adventure. It's tucked back off the highway behind a BIG Phillips 66 gas station. If we hadn't spotted that enormous RED RAZORBACK PIG peeking around from behind the gas station, I'm pretty sure we would have driven right past it! But I'm glad we found it! We had burgers, onion rings, fries, chicken strips, and a smoked turkey bacon sandwich--and EVERYBODY was happy with their meal. My sister was especially impressed with her chicken strips because they were REAL chicken strips, not those frozen ones. And those burgers? They were hand-formed and free-formed--not perfectly reshaped little patties that all look alike. They were generous, delicious, and definitely the kind of burgers that make you glad you skipped lunch at home. The portions were generous, the food was good, and the service was great. We had a really nice time catching up while enjoying our lunch together. So if you're driving down the highway in Tontitown and see a giant red Razorback pig sticking out from behind a Phillips 66...
