I think I've died and gone to pizza heaven! My boyfriend and I enjoyed one of our FAVORITE date spots since we started dating. We started off with some cocktails, the Ruby's Spritz and Vincenzo's Donkey. Not too boozy, smooth and easy to drink. We then got a Caesar and the charcuterie plate. Our server Mack recommended the prosciutto, by far the best we've ever had. It was soft and airy and OH SO delicious. We also ordered the vodka pie. Good golly miss Molly was that out of this world! The crust was perfectly cooked, the sauce was just the perfect amount of tomato. That burrata... chefs kiss! We will be back!! read more

The best wood-fire pizza's in NWA. You would be hard pressed to find better. Their crusts are delicious and there is a wide variety of interesting flavors or you can stick to the classics! Our favorite is the Vodka Pie. The sauce is delicious and their pizza heats up well. Don't let the prices scare you either, these pizzas are massive with quality ingredients. One pizza could feed two-four people depending on the persons. Realistically that's $7-$15/person which is well worth it for this pizza. The ambiance is super cool inside too! I'm an Italian guy who moved from the Boston area a year ago and I think this was the first time I've actually had good pizza since then, and the first time I haven't been aggressively home sick. Really crowded so I guess that's good. We ordered take out. The chef wouldn't leave off the onion jam of the white pizza so we skipped the pizza and had pasta. The Pomodoro is very good. The pesto was definitely heavy on the olive oil. Both portions were good for kid-sized portion but maybe a little light if you're really hungry. The Caesar salad dressing was good as were the croutons. I'm one of those who hate getting chunks of core in my salad which taste bitter (to me), but I'll probably try again. Pizza is great but the wait times are crazy during peak hours. It's a small 10-15 table place but not crowded unless you wait inside. Really cool open view of the ovens and the line making pizzas. Overall a great experience but if you dislike waiting, order your first one to go but the dine in experience is good too. It's easy to do a bad pizza, but they don't know how to do that, highly recommend. read more

I grew up in New Jersey and am from a big Italian family. Pizza and salads were a family staple from pizzerias owned and run by the best people. When I go to Pizzeria Ruby, it brings me right back to my childhood. The red and white checkered table cloths, the stacks and stacks of pizza boxes ready to be filled, the salads, the huge pies, the glass spice jars, the folks tossing the dough in the back - this is what pizzeria dreams are made of and this is what you'll get at this place! I am picky with my pizza because I had the benefit of NY pizza the first 30 years of my life. Cons: -when you look up directions on iPhone maps, it takes you to the Springdale Rib Crib on hwy 412. I told them about it and they didn't act like they would or could do anything to get it corrected. -they don't serve ranch (and when I asked, the cashier was very snooty about it and said, "we will NEVER have that at this pizza place." What happened to serving the customer what they want? -the Caesar salad dressing was so dense / clumpy it wouldn't spread around on my salad. -their soft drinks are cans so no refills,,, what? -the bathroom is so small the door won't fully open. I am glad we chose to do the to-go option as honestly I would have been disappointed with our pizza if I had waited in the restaurant for 2 hours. We got a pepperoni pizza and a sausage pizza. Pizzeria Ruby is amazing overall and one of my favorites in NWA! This was my second time here since they opened and both the food and atmosphere were top notch. Tried it for the first time and was pleased with the pizza and salad we had. My only complaint was that it was freezing cold in the restaurant and I had to wear my coat while I ate. There was nothing on the menu that was a warm drink either, not even coffee to warm me up or to have with dessert, so we took it home so we could have coffee with it there. read more

Service was really, really terrible; the 2 stars are for the food, which was pretty good. It took us an hour and 15 minutes to get our food, meaning we ordered and our food arrived, lukewarm, 75 minutes later, with no apologies. In addition, we waited for quite a while for a table. This meal turned out to be a 3-hour ordeal. The pizza might have been better fresh and hot, but wasn't the worst I've had regardless. We were pretty hungry by the time it arrived. The calzone was good--perhaps a bit too cheesy, or the cheese was almost liquid in parts, but overall a decent calzone. The giardiniera (pickle salad) was mediocre and mostly mildly pickled cauliflower pieces. The pepper parts of it were tasty. Maybe we hit it on an off day, but I just don't think I have the time to try it again. read more

I'm shocked. I'd given up on getting TRUE NY style pizza in NWA, but THEY DID IT. I've had NY style all over, including multiple times in the boroughs, and this is the best I've had outside of Manhattan. Bright sauce, hearty pepperoni, flavorful sausage...and that crust. Perfect balance of crunch and chew, and easy to fold right into your mouth. The crust stood out well on its own flavor-wise--no sauce or toppings needed to make it delicious. The crunch was almost musical. These are super great people running the show on all levels. I love that they're doing this the way they want, taking care of staff and feeding the hungry. I enjoyed briefly talking to the owner and seeing how breathlessly overwhelmed she is with too much business. I want to go every night. read more

If you don't like noise or large portions, this may not be the place for you. But if you like fresh, hot delicious food...I highly recommend. The Caesar salad is just right. We shared a plate of chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. Just the right amount of food for the two of us. Came out hot and delicious. Picked up a Fenway Pizza yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza crust was thin and tender with crispy edges. It was minimally sauced. The roasted peppers and onions on the Fenway were outstanding. All in all, a delicious pizza experience. read more
