I was told my car would be ready for pickup on August 6, 2021. As of today, December 6, 2021, I still do not have my car back. Once my insurance company paid out the check for repairs to the shop owner, Jason ignored my messages and phone calls. He refuses to give me courtesy updates. He claimed that the car would be ready in August; however, my tailgate was not ordered until September. I, myself, had to call Mazda to expedite the shipping when that should have been Jason's job. The piece was delivered to Jason the first week of October. He told me once the tailgate arrives, he will need an additional week to finish all repairs. He reached out two weeks after and said he would drop my car off at my house. I went to the shop on October 26th to pick up my car myself. When I arrived, I knocked and called him and received no response. I was able to see my car from the window and saw that no repairs had been made to my vehicle. It is in the same condition as July when I dropped it off. In addition, he has been auto-stripping other pieces of my car that did not need any fixing whatsoever. I believe that he is replacing my parts with used car pieces. I do not trust him and am very upset that he refuses to let me know when my car will be completed. I have involved the police multiple times to come to the shop. They are aware of him and said that I am not the first client to have an issue with him. Nearby neighbors disclosed to me that Jason refuses to open the doors and has other customers' cars inside the shop with unfinished repairs. If I could leave a review with negative stars I would. This has been a horrible experience. Please save yourself this headache and go somewhere else.

My vehicle needed very little body work and paint. Mr. Deen (owner) informed me that due to his current workload he wouldn't be able to perform the work at the present time but suggested that I continue to communicate with him on a biweekly basis to see when he be able to paint my car. On Monday, March 14, 2022, Mr. Deen told me to bring my car on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, so he could start painting my vehicle. He also informed me that it would take two weeks to complete the paint job. Well, that was true, every two weeks I would drive by his shop and speak with Mr. Deen regarding when he will start working on my vehicle. Mr. Deen informed me that the work will start the following week, this practice continued for almost two months. I also noticed that my vehicle was being parked in an isolated area and no work had been started. After two months of these lies, I displayed my frustration and I informed Mr. Deen if he wasn't able to work on my vehicle, I will take my vehicle back home until he has the time to start the work. Mr. Deen promise me that he will assign two employees to finish my vehicle. After several weeks, I finally received my car on June 3, 2022. However, after inspecting my vehicle I was not pleased with the workmanship. I found several scratches and some defect paint area. Also, the vehicle wasn't sand down or polished. I was informed by Dennis (the Painter) that they have to give the paint enough time to cure before they can't sand down and buff and polish the car. Today (June 21, 2022) after 3 weeks I went to the auto shop to make an appointment so my vehicle could be completed, and I was informed by the Painter (Dennis) that the owner will not complete the job because I complaint to much about the paint job and the 2 1/2 months that took to complete. I informed Dennis that my vehicle was not an insurance job, I was paying cash and my receipt indicated my payment and what was left to be done. Since Mr. Deen has instructed the workers not to accept my vehicle and complete the job, I have no other choice but to take this matter to small claim court in order to resolve this matter. They uncovered minor body damage which was undisclosed to me by the dealership. Mechanically the car was great but with those dents and chips uncovered I was able to get them pulled out and buffed up by the dealership at no cost and another $750 of the asking price they paid for their PPI and then some with the money I saved using them. Couldn't recommend Matt and his team enough, very professional and honest throughout the buying process and after, on recommendations for what to look for and how to protect the car when it arrived in my state. They gave me a ton of confidence buying the car without even seeing it in person and gave me a ton of leverage in my deal. Went to search for a review on this shop, not surprised to see no reviews as I don't think they get…read moremuch business. Was referred here by a neighbor, who hit my car and told me to contact M-B. I called the shop and spoke to the owner "Marcos". I told Marcos that I was unable to visit the shop, but I could tell him that I just needed a whole respray of a bumper. He claimed that I needed bring it down so he can take down the make, model, paint color/type; which I understand is standard practice. However, I provided all that information to him. I told him I did not really want to respray due to paint not going to match; he cut me short by stating that it doesn't match now and it doesn't match from the factory. He also stated that no shop can match paint. I told him that the car is brand new, and it seems to match to my eye. He again cut me short and told me "that's because you don't paint cars for a living and I do". I let that comment go and I just asked him approximately what the cost is. He said "why do you want to know the price, she's paying for it.". Having gone through this "sales pitch" I've decided not to bother doing business with M-B Auto Collision.

I took it to BMW and a collision shop in the same area and was astounding at the price quotes. I took to MB and spoke to Marco and he quoted me a much more reasonable price and did the repairs quickly as he saw two child seats in the back and understood that I am basically a chauffeur at this point. The work was done exceptionally well, In fact, I asked my father and father-in-law to identify the side involved in the accident after the repair and they couldn't. I also showed them pictures of the damage and asked them to estimate the cost and they both overestimated. Unfortunately, a few days after getting the car I was rear ended while stopped at a red light (as an aside 2 accidents within the span of one week after 18 years of accident free driving is frustrating). Marco again repaired the car quickly at a fair price and painted the entire rear bumper as a courtesy. I am actually created a Yelp account to post this review because it is important to identify exceptional work. Also, because I think Nelson's review is unfair as it attacks a mans livelihood simply because he did not provide a price quote over the phone. I am not a mechanic but it seems unreasonable to expect that from a person. I wonder if Nelson also calls doctors with a diagnosis and then posts negative reviews after they insist on seeing him prior to scheduling a surgery, etc... In short I had two exceptional experiences with M B Auto Collision and I notice that Tom G. who also gave him five stars actually obtained their services. Perhaps if Nelson bothered to take his car in to be evaluated all the reviews would be 5 star.

They do an amazing job and prices are much less than average mechanic prices in Queens and NY in general. They will never try to sell you anything which you do not need! I personally felt that mechanic shops were very sketchy, but this is one of those which prove them wrong. They do nearly everything, from replacing tires, changing bulbs, to even complex jobs as re-coding Mercedes cars. I've done various jobs here, Replacing all car speakers with 3 way speakers. Had them install projector headlights onto my old Accord 03 coupe. Install an Injen Intake, recolor my brake clippers to red, replacing my stock springs with TEINS to drop the car. All jobs were pretty much done a much lower price than I was quoted by other places, and online websites. Junior has probably worked on my car the most, and every time I ask him to modify or add something to the car, he takes his times and does things in a very neat fashion which appeals to the car owner and others in a positive way. I highly suggest you visit this place if you have any problems or even any modifications which you may wish to do to your car! I tend to stop by here often, mainly when I'm hitting the gym close to this establishment! They are very kind people! I decided to take my car to one shop around my house on Long Island to see what the problem was. After a few minutes of looking under the hood, the guy came back and told me it would cost $462 to fix. Not trusting his quote, I turned to Yelp. I saw the reviews for Khan's Auto Repair and decided to give them a call. Mr. Khan answered the phone, and there was just something about they way he sounded that made me trust him right away. I took my car in the very next day and Mr. Khan was able to tell me what the issue was and how much it was going to cost to fix it. So guess how he quoted me..............$55 dollars. I couldn't believe it, I was ready to spend a lot more than that. After my car was fixed, Mr. Khan offered to take me on a test drive to see if the noise still existed, and the noise was gone. What impressed me the most, is that Mr. Khan took his time and explained everything to me. I got the impression that he wasn't out to take my money, but was genuinely trying to help me. This is the only place I will be taking my car for repairs from now on.
