Amazing jobs and miracles are done here! :] I've gotten to know the family over the course of Winter when I purchased when my new car. They do an amazing job and prices are much less than average mechanic prices in Queens and NY in general. They will never try to sell you anything which you do not need! I personally felt that mechanic shops were very sketchy, but this is one of those which prove them wrong. They do nearly everything, from replacing tires, changing bulbs, to even complex jobs as re-coding Mercedes cars. I've done various jobs here, Replacing all car speakers with 3 way speakers. Had them install projector headlights onto my old Accord 03 coupe. Install an Injen Intake, recolor my brake clippers to red, replacing my stock springs with TEINS to drop the car. All jobs were pretty much done a much lower price than I was quoted by other places, and online websites. Junior has probably worked on my car the most, and every time I ask him to modify or add something to the car, he takes his times and does things in a very neat fashion which appeals to the car owner and others in a positive way. I highly suggest you visit this place if you have any problems or even any modifications which you may wish to do to your car! I tend to stop by here often, mainly when I'm hitting the gym close to this establishment! They are very kind people! All I can say is THANK YOU MR. KHAN!!!!!!! For a couple of weeks my car was making an awful sound whenever I drove it over bumpy roads. I decided to take my car to one shop around my house on Long Island to see what the problem was. After a few minutes of looking under the hood, the guy came back and told me it would cost $462 to fix. Not trusting his quote, I turned to Yelp. I saw the reviews for Khan's Auto Repair and decided to give them a call. Mr. Khan answered the phone, and there was just something about they way he sounded that made me trust him right away. I took my car in the very next day and Mr. Khan was able to tell me what the issue was and how much it was going to cost to fix it. So guess how he quoted me..............$55 dollars. I couldn't believe it, I was ready to spend a lot more than that. After my car was fixed, Mr. Khan offered to take me on a test drive to see if the noise still existed, and the noise was gone. What impressed me the most, is that Mr. Khan took his time and explained everything to me. I got the impression that he wasn't out to take my money, but was genuinely trying to help me. My first couple of days with Khan Auto I felt I experienced a two star experience. Hundreds of dollars spent for my issue (the reason I came to them) yet problem was not resolved. Nice guys but if my repair wasn't accomplished then it didn't matter after all that money spent. I talked calmly to Mr Khan about my issue. He listened to the concern. I realize he is a gentleman as he stepped up from there to find out where the problem lies. Their service became excellent and they became focused on identifying my problem. We found a very nice van from them, was cleaned up and looking great. We did notice the alignment was off and some codes popped up when we took it to our mechanic. Khan's said they would take the van to Mavis for the alignment and have his mechanics fix the code issues before we come back to purchase the van. He called to say everything was done and we were ready to pick it up. After signing the papers and driving away we realized very quickly he didn't take care of either issue. We should have verified before taking ownership of the vehicle but we trusted him....he seems very honest in person. read more

If there was a zero stars option, I would have selected that one. I went there today to get my brakes changed and one of their employees crashed a van into my rear end while I was parked. They scraped up my bumper really bad and refused to repaint the entire bumper. They only wanted to do the portion they scraped resulting in a two- toned color. They were also extremely rude and insulting. Never go there! I'm writing the better business bureau. read more

This particular incident was the worst customer experience of my life and made me write my first ever review in the honor of these "fake Khans" Long story short, if you care about customer service, good manners, respect and professionalism then don't go there. If you are still not convinced just keep reading. The Story : I had car accident and insurance company accept the responsibility and gave me the claim number, which simply means I can pick any body shop I trust on and can leave my car there for repairing. I came to the son of Khan and explained him everything, he asked me to give police report, claim number, took photo copy of my driving license, registration, took pictures of my car and assure me he will let me know in few days as soon as insurance company approve the bill, 2 weeks passed but Khan's son never confirmed, I have been calling at his cell throughout entire period and left voice messages but he was not in the mood to call back! Some how I was able to catch him over cell one morning and he said I will let you know in a day or two, he never confirmed me! Honestly I would not mind if he has just told me that he can't take this job for whatever reasons but how come he is okay to waste my weeks when he was never serious. Please continue reading ... Third week I called at their body shop and Mr Khan picked up the phone, I used to respect Mr Khan ( father of the guy ) but after this particular incident he showed his true hidden personality and deserve no respect from me unless he apologize for his abusive and threatening manner. Back to the story, Mr Khan picked the phone and I explained him everything that its been 3 weeks and his son still did not confirm me about when I should bring car, Mr Khan replied that let me talk to my son and call me back in evening, he asked for my name and phone number, I called back in evening and he told me to call back tomorrow morning, when I called back next day he said my son is not here and call me back in afternoon and asked my name and cell number again!!!, I called back in afternoon and he said the same thing, finally on Thursday I called him in morning and he told me again to call him back in afternoon and surprisingly ask for my name and cell number again and act like he don't know who I am and if we are talking very first time about this matter, when I called back in afternoon this is what he said : "If you are in rush then you can go to another shop and hanged the phone " He got nerves to said this to me after his son wasted my 3 weeks! But I had to call him back because his son had my police report and he was not picking his cell! So I called back and Khan said : "Do not call at this number again or I will kick your ass and hanged up the phone immediately" !!! yes this is what he said and did. I was shocked from Khan's such reaction and realized that he have big misunderstanding about me and I had to call to make sure if we are on the same page and I needed to get my police report in case they don't want to do this job, when I called back Mr Khan said : "Khan said are you fucking with me ? I replied "your son have my police report and wasted my 3 weeks and I need report" and Khan quickly hanged the phone!!!" Later when Khan confirmed with his son about police report and found out I was telling truth his son send me text message over cell : "Pick police report tomorrow at 6 pm and don't call at this shop again" Yes this whole incident is unbelievable and shocking, they literally threaten me to not call again when possessed my accident police report, they used abusive language over phone, they wasted my 3 weeks, I don't know if it should count as a crime but it can definitely give you clear idea that they how much they are lacking in manners and professionalism and you could be their next victim. I just don't want anyone going to have same experience in future and going to waste lot of time and deal with people who got bad language and manners when you do nothing wrong to them, who would like to go to such a shitty place ? Bottom line is that If you care about customer service, respect, timely job and manners then don't go to these "Fake Khans with no manners" If some one don't know how to respect customer and their time then they got nothing for customer! Go to some big reputable body shop or some body shop with lot of reviews and good ranking. I came here for the inspection and to fix some scratches and paint damage on my door. Mr. Khan's son fixed the door in under half an hour and it was pretty much perfect. He charged me $100 dollars when other places wanted to charge me $700 for the same thing. I highly recommend this shop because they are trustworthy and they do not take advantage of you by charging you way too much. read more

Khan's is a fantastic auto repair shop. They are an honest and highly efficient repair shop that specializes in servicing hired cars. I have never needed to make an appointment, and for an oil change, I am always in and out within 45 minutes. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because there is no waiting area for customers. You will either be dodging cars as they come in and out of the shop, or waiting outside on the sidewalk (which is also a busy parking area for the shop). read more

This is only the second time I went to Khan's but both times I had a very pleasant experience. They are very honest and helpers me avoid a costly repaid both times. I like them so much that have them also have them doing work on my wife's car . The only down size is they don't have a lot of space and practically no waiting area. They beat all four estimates I had obtained prior to getting the matter handles, they got the work done I needed completed two days earlier than advised, and were kind enough to deal with all of the challenges I faced getting the car back to tip top shape. Simply put... these guys are the best! They really know their stuff. Zee...Hands down, is the best Mercedes Mechanics I've ever dealt with. And I've dealt with quite a few throughout my years. I had my ABC Suspension system serviced and engine mounts replaced for my Mercedes. First, he did an excellent job. Second, the turnaround time was very fast. Finally...The price was just right!!! Went to this guy after reading some promising reviews on yelp. However, after my awful experience I couldn't help but to write this conflicting review for this business. First of all, the guy I spoke to, the owner's son, is a nice guy, but that's where my compliments stop. He promised dealer paint, which is the only requirement I had since the Galaxy Gray color for my Mazda CX-9 is a bit tricky to match with aftermarket paint. So, he did not keep his word and used aftermarket paints, and on top of that, the paint job had blatant defects. Not only the paint was few shades different, but there were scuffs and bubbles in numerous places, missing screws/fasteners, and unaligned body parts due to cheap aftermarket materials. After pointing out the defects, I was asked to come back in few weeks once the paint cured. However, when I called few weeks later he never returned my calls. They may be good at repairing mechanical components, but I would avoid this place for any bodywork. read more

Very honest and quick. On two occasions I received a questionable diagnosis from the expensive local car repair place up in Westchester where I lived. Where the diagnosis was incorrect, Khans pointed out the problem and showed me what was not broken. And where repairs were warranted Khans did them quickly and for a fair price. He replaced my brake lines on my truck using compression fittings which you should NEVER use. He also didn't use the correct tools when bending the lines. So as a result, kinks in brand new lines and fittings that leak. Was lucky to make it home. Now I have to pay to have the garbage he installed removed and pay again to install the lines correctly. read more
